Simple question: Is it possible to use Dogs of war units in a WoC list? I asked my local games workshop and they said "no". However, the dogs of war army list states that chaos can use any of the units. So which is correct? |

According to every single FAQ, we are supposed to disregard any reference to dogs of war or mercenary forces... even in the Dogs of War army book. For better or worse, Dogs of War is a discontinued army and we are not allowed to take any mercenaries of any kind anymore. |

unless you and your gaming buddies reeeeally want to, in which case you could always choose to use them in a friendly environment. but for random and/or official games, what Unu said stands, i'm afraid. |

Your local GW is incorrect. The references to DOW were removed in all of the latest books because the rules are self contained in the DOW Pdf. For tournaments, you will have to ask the TO, for anything else, just check with your opponent first. |
