17 Warriors: FC, shields, MoT, Blasted Banner 19 Marauders: FC, shields, MoT 5 Knights: musician, MoK Sorc: lvl 1, power familiar, Collar of Khorne Sorc: lvl 1, scroll Which leaves me 18 points. Sorc 1 will go with the warriors, making it a rather resilient unit: 4+WaS vs shooting, 4+WaS vs magic, 5+WaS in CC, 3+AS Marauders are to hold the enemy in place while the knights attack the flank (if able). My ally is a DW player. He'll probably take 2 Grudge Throwers, 1 Organ Gun and 2 x 20 Quarrellers (with added GW). And a runesmith or whatever it's called. He'll take up the centre while I will deploy my warriors on one side and the marauders and knights on the other flank. As always, feel free to comment :) Cheers |

I'd make the marauders khorne with gw's if you can. Also what lores are you going for with your sorcerer's? And regardless of that spell familiar will be of great use giving you more then two spells and infernal puppet because should u miscast and lose a level the model is useless. |

Yes, the marauders have been changed to Khorne and GW :) I haven't decided on the lore for my mages yet. Swapping power fam, collar and a scroll for a Puppet and a spell fam is not really needed imo. The puppet can protect you, but I have had zero miscasts in my 8th edit games so far and so have my opponents. So having a high point item for sth that may or may not happen is kinda overkill. A spell fam will give you a nice extra spell, but with 2PD you'll throw on average a 7. Which is more than enough for 2 spells but not for 3. (yes, I get to keep all PD, we don't need to divide them). A power fam will give me an extra dice over my opponents, a scroll will dispel that game turning spell and the collar will protect my warriors from magic which is sure to come. |

Me personally, I'd swap the Level 1 Sorc w/ the power familiar and collar for a BSB w/ collar and if you really want the spell, add the book of secrets. Better fighter, improves your currently mediocre leadership and with only two level 1s, you're unlikely to be lacking for power dice with only two spells to cast. Not like the DW will be using any of your dice. |

:huh: - I'll have more than the max amount of points allowed for heroes, so I will need to drop the 2nd sorcerer. - I'll have no general since, again, I will need to drop the 2nd sorc. The only thing I'd consider is taking the spell familiar. |
