Firstly I would remove some of the CC heroes and add a sorcerer. i think that having both a lord and a hero is a bit overkill, make one of èm in to a mage, remember that as you havent given you BSB any magic standard then you are free to use the points on gear, so he can be just as killy as the non-BSB is. Remove the shield from you jugga hero if you keep him, he has chaos armour and get 3+ from the mount so he allready has 1+save. if you take the Lord i would give him a disc, makes him so much more mobil and is really good at keeping you opponent at bay and killing lone mages / warmashins (you could also make him an exalted hero instead, cost a lot less and is still really good) I am personly not a fan of the Warshrine, I would maybe remove it and add one or two knight more in the unit. (that is if you dont have the jugga hero as i expect him to be there if he is) If you could find the points i would make the MoK warriors MoN instead and give them Banner of Rage, its awsome if fighting shooty or WS 3 / WS 5 armies. |

The shield does nothing for your exalted hero. Khorne gives frenzy, so he doesn't benefit from the parry rule. Juggernaught gives 1+ Armour save, so shield gives no more armour. I have a model with a shield in a similar situation. I just left the shield on (since it looked nice) and just point out he doesnt really have a shield to my opponent. List looks nice and killy :D The only problem i can see with khorne knights is you cannot restrain overrun, and you cannot reroll frenzy checks because your BSB will be too far away. If your opponent gets wise, he could bait your knights right into a flank charge, or just let them roll straight to the back of the board, forcing you to spend time turning around (and leaving you vulnerable to a rear charge too). I now use tzeentch knights, since my opponent showed me how easily khorne knights can be controlled by the opponent :S Pilch |

As for khorne knights the chance of passing the test is greater then failing, ye it does suck that you might fail it, but lets face it, having +1 attack and immune to phsycoligy (sorry i spell it wrong) is a small price to pay, and frenzy has only gotten better in this new edition + now the charge an avarage 17'' or so. I use 2x6 khorne knights in my 2000 point army and they rarely disapoint. |

Warrior of the Chamber

I'm not sure the immune to psychology is a selling point though, since they are warriors of chaos and fear causers you already modify fear and terror and you reroll panic. |

ye that true, but still i preffer Khorne over other marks, 18 st5 attacks really can pack a punch. I guess play style come in to play aswell. =) |

you cant have both Dispel scroll and Puppet, they are both arcane items and you can only have one on any hero/lord |

Servant of Nurgle
|
I second running the warrior block with Mark of Nurgle and the banner of rage. I have used it quite successfully. Similarly, I reckon run your marauders with the great weapons and Mark of Khorne. Up the amount of marauders to 25 if you can, banner optional and dependent on the scenario from the BRB that you play. Don't worry about a champion. A blasted standard with your Tzeentch warriors would assist them getting across the table. However, it is 40 points. I am also not a fan of a war shrine. I had a good results with my hellcannon and the use of chariots. Food for thought, you could possibly put an exalted in a chariot. If you are allowed to take a named character, Festus with the Nurgle warriors with the banner of rage is a killing machine. Festus ads on regeneration at 5+ and gives you poison attacks. Good luck, and go chaos! |
