Please note that I only take units that can have a Mark and I will always give them the Mark of Tzeentch (yeah, I'm one of those fluffy, last of a dying breed players), I build a relatively balanced list not designed to combat one type of army, and I will NEVER take a special character because I think they're lame. Lances on knights are generally wasted points. Instead of being badass all the time you make them highly situational AND they lose their magical attacks. With today's focus on long slugfests instead of quick steam-rolls in close combat you REALLY want your knights to stay at peak efficiency as long as possible. Remember that their normal ensorcerelled weapons already give +1S so lances are hardly any bonus at all. On the plus side, those units of warriors are dead hard to kill and will give you a lot of mileage. Never tried a DP. Haven't heard much good stuff about them, but they look like a lot of fun still.
