You have to have five chaos warhounds in a unit because it's the minimum size allowed so with that change your list is seven points over the one thousand mark. Now as for the list itself most people run Khorne warriors with halberds instead of additional hand weapons because they already get three attacks with MoK so the halberd gives them three strength five attacks instead. There's a lot of champions in the list not really doing anything at all and the light armor isn't going to do much on your marauders so dropping the champions and light armor would let you get a magic banner or two into the list as well. |

i agree, as you have GW on the marauders the Light Armour is wasted points, i also vote for Halberds on the warriors, 3 A with S 5 is wicked looks like an okey lost though |

Can i just third that opinion about the halberds please?? the strength 5 usually does cause more overall kills than an extra st4 attack on every model. st5 negates all armour saves of 5+ (heavy armour or light armour and shield usually) which is most likely what your opponent has! and wounding usually on 2's really will cause more damage than 3's. Halberds are a definate must on the Warriors, that extra punch of power is exactly what you need to tear down your foes - and can allow your warriors to handle Monsters with a bit more ease. another point of advice i would give is... be wary of the GW on your marauders, bear in mind that they will strike last and marauders are a bit squishy. flails arent the best, but they do make a nice substitute sometimes. could i suggest the following combo on your knights... 5 Chaos Knights, MoN, StB + Mus, Banner of Rage. (295 points) they not only benefit from never losing their frenzy, but it makes them harder to hit with both missile weapons and in close combat. |
