Blessings of the lady Big Dave (Probably won't get the opportunity to write that again) Bretonnians for myself too. It's likely a subconscious decision, so I don't lose myself in the chaos wastes. |

Beastmen were my first love but my second or third army picked up. At the time everything I read said they were bad (I'm easily persuaded via internet chatter...only slightly less so now). But they've been my first nearly painted and first I regularlyishly played with. Having started around five years ago, at this rate I could have chosen Wood Elves and have finished around the time they get their new book (or two years after...). Ogres were second or third. An online sale had me grab 3 battalions and two heroes. I still have one of those old battalions in its wrapper. It looks so nice and so shiney. Won a GW contest for the 3k army of Skaven. It is still in the box it was shipped in but it looks good too. I was going to buy ONE box of zombies for some conversions for my CSM at the same time as the VC came out. I got into an excited conversation with the GW store manager (that seductress). Got a little crazy that month and now I have a mostly assembled but not quite finished 1.5kish VC army. I also have Chaos Marines that are half assembled. One day...I will finish them all! My owner herself has a ton of stuff for Daemons of Chaos, a ton of stuff for Tyranids, and a battalion+ of Wood Elves. She's even further away from finishing then me though! Fickle women! Worse yet, she won the old Balakor (?) daemon prince and won't even let me use it! *weep* The nice thing about spending your next three years worth of disposable income is that you have a pretty good set of bits to use in conversions. Edit: Don't tell my owner...but if Plaguebearers come out in plastic I'll likely be making a daemon army too. >.> Edited by Goodspawn, Jul 3 2012, 04:46 AM.

No surprise there, seeing as this is a WoC and they were all playable as one army in the 6th edition. Nice to see such a wide selection of armies being played. I would have thought that at least a few of them would have been a lot less popular than the others, but there seems to be a good mix. |

I guess so, though I didn't play in 6th so I wouldn't know. Using the Tamurkhan rules you can combine all 3 (well 4, chaos dwarf list in Tamurkhan as well), chaos armies, which is what I plan on doing with my bestmen and WoC, maybe some CD as well. |

I have a decent-sized Daemon army and somehow have aquired 3000 points of skaven. My next main army will be Chaos Dwarfs now, especially now I have seen the new Bull Centaurs! :D |

I play Dwarfs have done since the late 80's, never not had a Dwarf army. TOmb Kings as I love the fluff and the way they SHOULD work, not a fan of the models so they are a Jason and the Argonauts themed army. Lastly I have my DE army which are around 5-6 years old, they don't get much of a run out these days tho. |

I'm a slave to Chaos... WHFB Warriors of Chaos: 12k Empire (Nurgle themed): 3k Dark Elves (Slaanesh themed): 3k Ogre Kingdoms (Khorne themed): 3k WH40K Space Marines: 2.5k Daemons: 2k Additionally, I've recently acquired the collection of my ex employer. I have yet to unpack and catalog everything, but it's from back in the days when shop owners had one of every army on display. I painted large chunks of this army back in the 90s, and I ended up with the lot after the shop owner passed away last summer. There's a WOC army (this was his favorite, so most numerous amount of models), Orcs and Goblins, Dark Elves, High Elves, Wood Elves, Dwarfs, Lizardmen, Empire, Skaven, Tomb Kings (Old Undead, before the Vampire Counts book was released). I think there's some of the old school Chaos Dwarfs there too. Some of this will be going to friends of the old guy, but the remnants (in particular the Chaos stuff) will likely be repurposed for my own collection. The Chaos Dwarfs in particular interest me. I was seriously considering putting together a Chaos Dwarf force not long ago and this could go a long way in making that happen. |

I have a small O&G army, much more fun and random than the point and kill WoC :) On another note though, just got my wife interested in WFB! My best man got her a DE battalion and an extra box of warriors for her wedding present and she's been spending the time since back from the Honeymoon (where she read the entire army book) putting them together! :D I'm so proud lol |

Hi, all. I'm new to the forum. I have a 2600 point Vampire Counts Army. My wife has about 2400 of dwarfs. Mostly I have been playing 40k, but for reason am in need of break. (New flgs as I moved, new meta is WHFB > 40k) I have a massive 40k CSM, about 3000 points of nids, and some old school Dark Eldar lying around... Anyway I'm new to WoC. Have the book and am getting the battalion in a bit for my B-day. |

Empire was my first... painted ~2500 points, sold them. Beastmen were next... painted ~3000 points of a nurgle doombull list. One of my favorite armies of all time... sold them eventually Dabbled in ogres... sold them prior to paint Warriors of Chaos... painted ~3000 points. sold all but a few specific models Empire again... painted ~3000 points. Still have them. Dabbled in HE... sold some, kept others to paint Lion beastmen army... painted ~2500 points. Still have them. Bretonnian-themed Ogres... painting them. Up to ~1200 points painted and working towards Adepticon 2013. Edited by anvalous, Nov 9 2012, 11:03 PM.
