So I'm looking to make an all out offense Chaos Lord to try out in some of my lists.  What builds has anyone had success with?  I'm thinking of building him around the Aethersword and Chaos Runeshield and giving him a mount, though I'm not sure which one yet.  Leaning towards either Barded Chaos Steed or Daemonic Mount.  Any thoughts on what marks would be best and other minor details to work into him and how to run him?

Heres my Big Cheese Killy Chaos Lord.

MoK , Sword of Anti-Heros(30), Helm of Many Eyes(25) , Armor of Zhrakk(15) , Other Tricksters Shard(15), Shield, Word of Agony. Put him in a unit of warriors with Razor standard and Festus.

In a challenge he will have 7 ST6 attacks , with the -4 to normal armor saves your enemy will have to roll ward saves to survive then re-roll successful ward saves, plus the 1 time Word of Agony to add to it.

With a little luck on your side your enemy will need to make 6, 7 or 8 ward saves, and then re-roll the successful ones.
So if he rolls for 7 saves but fails 3 that would be 3 wounds and still re-roll the successful saves for 1 or 2 more wounds. Or if he only fails 2 , he has to re-roll 5 for another 1 or 2 wounds.
In combat against normal armor saves your lord will do about 5-6 wounds , against a character with a ward save your lord has a very good chance of doing at least 3 wounds in the first round of combat.

Is word of agony really worth it? Ive never brought it but I wonder were it would be succesful. Against highelf characters perhaps?

It is worth it just to not be feeded a unit champion. Kill the champion before challenging with the Word of Agony, then challenge with your champion (in the case that there is a character and a champion in the opposing unit). That will guarantee that your lord will be able to attack the RnF troopers and up the kill count considerably.
