Couple of circular bases (size to your liking) glued together as a base and add bits to your preferance. eg: tyranids, spikes and so on. Also could green stuff some detail on. |

That's exactly what I did. Two 40mm round bases and a bunch of spawn bitz with some green stuff to make it "fleshy". Posted ImagePosted Image |

I don't know if you mean stuff like this, but I use a Lox Jarg model. He fits on a larger base, he can fly and he looks suitably Tzeentchy. |

I'm using a chaos star that goes on top of a fulcrum for Storm of Magic. Easy to find on ebay. |

I used one of the clear plastic flying bases like the screamers of tzeentch use, flipped it so the flat part is up,you may glue spikeys ,but I think a clean disc would look great(I have spikes on mine though). I was thinking of leaving it clear or partially clear(wow!),but ended up painting it lava colors like its glowing. Its a bit on the smaller side, but works. I'll post a pic in a few days if your interested. |

As of this weekend I bought the Herald Disc and will be mounting Sauroman as the mage/rider. Both models are finecast, ad being lite are much better than the existing Disc. And as an aside I will be using Wormtongue as my Nurgle mage for on a Palanquin which I often play in my 'fun' list. |

Im not a fan of the disc look, i like the whole idea of a dark pegasus like they use with darkelves. Disc is just too spacey lookin for fantasy i think |

I use a stone...xD Wich I glue sand to, except the top where the character stands. Also, before the sand, I greenstuff the stone into a "magically-ripped-out-of-the-ground-piece-of-ground" look. It'll have some tentacles and a trail of fire, but I haven't sculpted those yet. Theo |
