I've been looking through the rule set and I'm wondering if you people use a disc of Tzeentch and is rider as a fast cavalry model?

If so, the feint fleeing could be a great tactic with the 20'' move. You can even get a vanguard move. By playing second, this mean a potential charge on the first turn! (maybe against a less experienced player)

Sadly, this doesn't clear the model away from the killing blow menace. :(

Well, we can't have everything!

It is not fast cavalry.

Yes there is rule in fly section in BRB page 70, but in our FAQ there is Question:
Is a character riding a Disc of Tzeentch treaded as Flyinng Cavalry

Answer: No

So it wont benefit from Flying Cavalry rules but it is still flying mount.

Thank for your reply R3do. At the same moment you post, I've been looking through the FAQ and saw this little precision I've missed last time. Thanks for the input.

So you treat him as a ''normal'' cavalry model? Does that mean he cannot reform freely in it's movement phase?

I'll have to wheel when moving and cannot turn on the spot?

I think the thing to consider with a disk is it's a lone model, so it's movement is also dependent on that, not just the rules for flying or cavalry. That means they can pivot freely, etc.

Page 27 BRB First Paragraph "The one exception is that a single model can pivot on the spot as many times as it wishes over the course of its move. It can do so without penalty..."

Good point. I've always though this rule was made for lone character on foot.

Thanks for pointing that out Khaas and clearing my doubts.
