Well, in my allcomers 2400 list I have 11, and 6 of those are pretty much chaff deployments! Gotta love the chaff war :P |

Can I see that list? I want to boost my drop numbers so your list might get me ideas. |

My lists usually have at least the following: 3x 5 dogs 2x chariots (3 in my 3000pt) I have found my niche with two blocks of warriors around 18-20, two units of skullcrushers, chariots galore and a tzeentch warshrine. Lots of drops, not all chaff in the slightest, but all scary enough for the opponent to question where they want to put stuff lol |

Sure. Without going into all the marks/items and stuff, my list comprises: Sorcerer lord on foot BSB on horse 18 warrior block 19 warrior block 39 marauder block 5 marauder horsemen 3 x 5 warhounds 6 trolls 2 x 3 skullcrushers When I say I have effectively 6 "chaff" deployments it's because I view the following units like that: warhound units, marauder horsemen and skullcrushers. Now that's not to say that they can't and don't do specific jobs, cos they do, its just they're not the core of my army. As such, it gives me 6 "dummy" delpoyments before I have to commit my main battle units. This can be a huge advantage against certain opponents. A battle can be lost and won in the deployment stage ;) |
