Hey all. Quick question: What happens when someone has both Mark of Nurgle and the Glittering Scales magical armour? Both give the enemy -1 to hit in close combat. I know that you always hit on a 6 in close combat, but do we know if the effects from the Mark of Nurgle and the magical armour stack? If they stack wouldn't that mean for example that only those with Weapon Skill 10 would hit a Daemon Prince (with both the mark and armour) on less than 6s? And everyone else would hit on only 6. |

It does stack and if you take something like this: MON, Glittering scales, fencers blades, anything without striking buffs will hit you on 6's |

Thanks for the reply. But how do we know it stacks? Which rule explains it? As the rules are explained now it just says both give -1 to hit. How do we know they both don't just overlap? |

Nothing says they do not, therefore they do. They are both a -1 to hit, so combined, they are a -2 to hit. Nothing in the rulebook states that mutiple +1/-1 penalties do not stack, and there is definitely evidence otherwise, considering Chameleon skinks have 2 rules that each give -1 to be hit from shooting. |

I'm pretty sure they stack. I don't see why they wouldn't. But I think a 6 is always a hit so in some cases it may be a waste, but not most as it's rare to be hitting on 5s naturally. |
