Gone for a fluffy yet hopefully competitive warriors list. Decided to have no flyers or ranged units as IMO these don't suit Slaanesh's feel, however I wanted a fast, hard hitting army, think I did alright but any input would be good.

As an additional point, where possible I have tried to make units the sacred number in size or twice the sacred number.

DP - Mk of Slaanesh, Chaos Armour, Lvl 4 Wizard (Shadow), Scaled Skin, Flaming Breath, Soulfeeder, Dragonbane Gem, Charmed Shield, Sword of Striking

Exalted hero - Mk of Slaanesh, BSB, Daemonic Mount, Enchanted Shield, Burning Body, Flail (or halberd?)
Sorcerer - Lvl 1 (Shadow) Dispel Scroll

6 Chaos Hounds - Vanguard
6 Chaos Hounds - Vanguard
6 Chaos Hounds - Vanguard
Chaos Chariot - Mk of Slaanesh
Chaos Chariot - Mk of Slaanesh
12 Chaos Warriors - Mk of Slaanesh, Shields, Standard, Musician, Banner of Swiftness (Discipline?)

6 Dragon Ogres - Great Weapons
6 Hellstriders - Standard, Musician

Shaggoth - Additional hand weapon

Nice list and cool theme. I understand that you don't want any fliers, but the demon prince can really benefit from the added mobility. Also maybe split the dragon ogre unit in 2 to give you more drops and threat saturation. The more you have to deploy the easier it is to pick your match-ups which is always a boon.

I agree with the deployment. I've learned through painful games against ogres that having more drops give u a big advantage. Especially when you can waste 3-4 drops with nothing but dogs :) split the dragon ogres definitely other than that I like your list. Stick to the swiftness banner on ur warriors, maybe buff them up a little for a safer size like 18.

Cheers for the comments people. I originally had the dragon ogres in 2 units of 3 actually. Tactically it makes more sense and I will grant that. It costs me no extra points to split them either. However Slaanesh's sacred number is 6 so I was going try them in a single unit start off with, run it for a couple of games and if I find out the extra drop and being able split the damage is needed just break the unit in half. I guess I can still argue there is a sacred amount of them :) regarding the warrior unit I would have liked to get more but I am struggling find the points. I could drop the lvl 1 but that drops my dispel scroll too and I am not sure if I can afford to do that :s I am hoping that due to the number of fast hard hitting stuff the warriors will get overlooked and can hopefully spring a nice surprise by being a bit faster and maybe even getting mindrazor off (if I get it).
I also concede the flying DP would be tactically advantageous as he is easily capable of holding up units alone. However I want the army to feel like it flows as one and at the moment it all moves/charges roughly the same. Plus I have a good chance of getting steed of shadows so I can hopefully throw a cheeky cast of that and fly anyways then get the second turn charge regardless :)

Just so you know, the only one holding you to Slaanesh sacred number - is you.;)

There's technically 6 of whatever on the table ready for battle. I think Slaanesh would be satisfied with that. I also think that armies that hold to sacred numbers are limiting themselves and end up performing less than one would want and then becoming slightly resentful of the army. I think some lists can be TOO fluffy. Knowwhatimean?

A list can NEVER be too fluffy!

I hate Slaanesh, but I love fluff and very much like your list.

I'm a little upset you didn't go with Lore of Slaanesh, but I suppose the Dark Prince appreciates Shadow too. Where do you plan to put your Exalted Hero riding a daemonic mount? I'd suggest removing 1 hellstrider and putting your hero on a slaanesh mount and putting him with them. I have no idea if this would be effective or not, I've never used Hellstriders.

Give the warriors the banner of swiftness. 1) Because the extra speed is helpful and fluffy and 2) because unless your general is going to be in this unit, banner of discipline will be a waste.

Steed of Slaanesh characters certainly are effective. They gives the 'striders the punch they need to get those unit kills and bring up their boons.

As for the Std. of Discipline, it's actually a really good choice as it means you have Ld9 Inspiring Presence. But, given the nature of the list, I think the extra M is more valuable to you.

No you don't, the Daemon Prince is the General and has Ld9 IP but the Warriors would be the only ones to benefit from the banner.
