My group of Warhammer friends and I are starting a campaign on Sunday and I thought I would post my banner lists to be critiqued. The campaign rules are a mixture of the old Mighty Empires rules and Blood in the Badlands. I attached the whole set of rules to this post if anyone wants to read the whole thing, but it is a bit long. To summarize, each player gets 7 tiles to start off with and will roll to see what type of settlement is on each tile and how many points your entire army has. These points can be divided into as many armies or banners as you want, with a minimum of 500 points and a maximum of 1500 points. I've done a few test rolls and end up averaging about 5500 points to divide up. Each player's General's banner may be up to 2000 points. Banners can be run together as a "force" to a maximum of 3000 points. I will be facing empires of: Tomb Kings, Empire, Orcs & Goblins, Skaven, Warriors of Chaos, and possibly High Elves.

This will be my Generals Banner:
1997
Daemon Prince of Nurgle (395)
Chaos armor, flight, scaled skin, soul feeder, charmed shield, sword of striking, dragonbane gem, Level 1 of Nurgle

Exalted of Khorne (218)
BSB, Mok, Daemonic Mount, shield, Sword of Might, Ironcurse Icon, Dragonhelm

Level 2 Nurgle Sorcerer (215)
Chaos Familiar, Talisman of Endurance, enchanted shield

CORE
Chaos Chariot (110)

2x5 Warhounds (60)

17 Chaos Warriors (336)
FC, MoN, AHW

SPECIAL
5 Chaos Knights (215)
Ensorcelled weapons

3 Dragon Ogres (204)
Great Weapons

RARE
3 Skullcrushers (244)
Musician, Ensorcelled weapons

I plan to run the general's banner with the following 1000 point list:

Throgg (195)

CORE
Chaos Chariot (110)

5 Warhounds (30)

6 Trolls (210)

SPECIAL
Chimera with regen (245)

RARE
Hellcannon(210)

I then am dividing my remaining points into one banner of 1500 points and another banner of whatever is left over. Here is the 1500 point banner:

Lord (370)
MoTz, Disc of Tzeentch, crown of command, charmed shield, sword of striking, talisman of preservation, 3rd eye, soul feeder

BSB (220)
MoTz, Scaled skin, hideous visage, Sword of might, talisman of endurance

CORE
Chariot (110)

18 Chaos Warriors (400)
MoTZ, FC, Halberds, Shields, Banner of Eternal Flame

2x5 Warhounds (70)
(one unit with vanguard)

RARE
3 Skullcrushers (314)
FC, Ranger's Standard

Each banner must follow the rules for building an army (i.e. 25% core, 50% special, magic items etc), but the forces do not.
I've toyed with the idea of splitting the forces into smaller banners in order to claim more tiles early and then increasing their sizes in subsequent turns, but it is damn hard to make a decent character in anything too small.
Any comments, critiques, suggestions appreciated :)
