Not sure what happened with your quote there :p My BSB usually has Armour of Destiny, Scaly Skin and a Great Weapon while sitting atop a Warshrine. I might just be lucky that the only player in my group who has Dwarfs is bored of them and there are no Empire players currently, but for my meta it does the trick. Mostly I do it for the model I have in mind combining the GW Warshrine with Raging Heroes' Eleriel and Alaniel model. |

didn't they cancel the "large Target" rule from 8th edition ??? Or do you mean the target being higher and been seen by everyone on the battlefield like on disk or dragon Edited by Kurrilino, Apr 14 2013, 12:42 AM.

Yeah, Large Target exists. Though it doesn't have much effect beyond Inspiring Presence and our EotG table. |

Not to dredge up an old thread but................. I'm having this debate in my head at the moment as well; tzeentch warshrine or slannesh GBC? I've used GBC's before and they can be awesome, and it certainly has more punch than a warshrine. But last game I played with the tzeentch warshrine for fun and it wasn't that bad actually. Yes, it lacks a bit in damage output, but if the rest of the army makes up for that, is that such a bad thing? Then it has the "potential" to make our heroes, lords and champions scary scary, and lastly it's silly tough with t5 and a 3+ ward save. Last game I used it as a shield for my DP from bolt-throwers ^_^ Anyone else had much experience/success with the old warshrine? |
