I recently started building a nurgle army and I thought I'd show it to you guys for some feed back.

What made me start was I thought it would be cool to make a unit of chaos warriors, just using the models from the old heroquest.

Here is what I have done so far.
I'm quite happy with how Bilious Claw (my DP) turned out.
I am not happy with the banner on the warrior unit. I have no idea how to paint a large flat area. All help welcome.

Wow. What a throwback. That champion reminds me of the 1980's show Masters of the Universe.

I also have a tough time with banners. I have all of mine cloth-ish, but no actual completion as of yet.

Great stuff, i always had a soft spot for the heroquest warriors, they really do look menacing. Your DP is total filth i love it, great work.
I make my banners from aluminium foil. I paint them and then mould them around the bearer, hope that helps!

Thanks people :D

This is my Sorcerer on daemonic mout with familiar.

I wanted it to look like he had a bodyguard to protect him rather than a mount.
It will look better painted.

They are all GW models but do you think people would mind me using it as it isnt the proper model?

In a friendly game, you should be fine. Some tournaments can get picky about silly things like that. I have never really understood why. The fact that everything is fron GW is certainly a good point, though, if they try to say "no."

Using the Hero Quest stuff is awesome. I always loved that Chaos Sorcerer model. I still have a few of those laying around, somewhere. Used them as D&D mini's for the longest time. Good stuff.

Been a while but I've done some more.

Painted up my sorcerer on daemonic mount and converted two nurgle chariots.

This probably should have started this in Army Diaries.
