Hello folks, With less than a week to get my list in for Feast of Blades I thought I'd post it here for dritque and a little advise. Since it is a closed list I'll not be discussing my tactics too much but it is fairly standard and in my opinion really filthy. The Tournament is 2500pts standard battleline with 5 scenario cards to eb used throughout the tournament as follows: The Assassin - Kill the enemy General (any way) The Challenger - (kill a character in a challenge, if they refuse the challenge you win this) The Magician - Have the highest Wizard on the table at the end of the game. The Tactiian - Complete at least 2 flank or rear charges during the game. The Trickster - Have a non fleeing unit in the opponents deplyment zone at the end of the game. So with that in mind here is my list: Daemon Prince: Chaos Familiar; Soul Feeder; Scaled Skin; Flaming Breath; Dragonbane Gem; Charmed Shield; Sword of Striking; Level 3 Wizard; Lore of Death; Chaos armour; Daemonic Flight; Daemon of Nurgle. 520 Chaos Sorceror: Dispel Scroll; Level 2 Wizard; Lore of Metal. 170 Exalted Hero: Talisman of Preservation; Third Eye of Tzeentch; Daemonic Mount; Mark of Tzeentch; halberd; shield; Battle Standard. 244 Exalted Hero: Talisman of Endurance; Enchanted Shield; Disc of Tzeentch; Mark of Tzeentch; halberd. 191 11 Chaos Marauders: Mark of Slaanesh. 77 5 Marauder Horsemen: musician; Mark of Slaanesh; shield; javelins; flails. 105 5 Marauder Horsemen: musician; Mark of Slaanesh; shield; javelins; flails. 105 Chaos Chariot: Mark of Slaanesh. 115 Chaos Chariot: Mark of Slaanesh. 115 Chaos Chariot: Mark of Slaanesh. 115 Chimera: Flaming Breath; Regenerating Flesh. 275 3 Skullcrushers of Khorne: ensorcelled weapons. 234 3 Skullcrushers of Khorne: ensorcelled weapons. 234 2,500 points So my main query is with the "Magician" objective do I move a magic level to my Daemon Prince and make him lvl 4? That would give me 5 spells on Death but only 1 for searing doom on the metal mage. What do you guys/gals think? |

Kill their level 4(s) and you'll win Magician. The DP can easily do that, especially with Lore of Death. I say keep the level 2 so that if your DP dies, you aren't giving up those extra points worth of spell level. |

That was my thoughts but with the -1 to dispel and -1 to cast from being lvl 3 kind of hurts. |

Magic is huge in 8th edition Warhammer. Can sway the outcome of a game very fast. |

Exactly. I think I might mix it up and put the lvl 4 on the DP. He has yet to die in over 12 games so figure as long as I can get him in combat efore the end of the game he will be fine. |
