O.k. this is the current list I'm running. I've been running a proxy Chimera but hopefully that will change soon enough :D

Ash Suddaby - The White Serpent's cadre (WoC 2496pts)

Lords(525)

Daemon Prince (525pts)
Chaos Armour, Demonic Flight, Level 4, Lore of Slaanesh, Mark of Slaanesh, Allure of Slaanesh, Poisonous Slime, Scaled Skin, Soul feeder, Charmed Shield, Dragonbane Gem, The Other Trickster's Shard

**This guy... UGH! Love him to pieces I really do, last game he was in he held his own against a HORDE of Rat Ogres, and he's a solid choice for me... a little pricier than I would like, but hey, you pay for quality.

Heroes (418pts)

Chaos Sorcerer (214pts)
Level 2, Lore of Shadows, Mark of Slaanesh, Chaos Familiar, Helm of Discord, Iron Curse Icon

**This is my support caster, his spells have great synergy with the army list and Shadow also has all the decent buffs and debuffs too... PLUS, my favorite moment of his so far was casting Okkam's Mindrazor on his unit of sword and boards and tearing a unit of knights to shreds :D he's pretty survivable since he sits in with my warriors along with the BSB. He also provides a little protection for my warriors as the Iron curse Icon is actually a fantastic little but of kit for it's 5 point cost.

Exalted Hero (204pts)
Army Battle Standard, Halberd, Mark of Slaanesh, Hideous Visage, Enchanted Shield, Talisman of Preservation

**Although he's on foot, he's still fairly tough to kill since he rocks a 2+/4++ and he's in the unit of warriors so it makes for a solid anvil for my force.

Core (675pts)

5x Chaos Warhound (45pts)
Vanguard, Poison

** This is one of my two chaff units that also have the job of hunting warmachines. They have poison because I had a few spare points and I won't lie, it's paid for itself a few times, last game, each unit of hounds took out a cannon each and then proceeded to kill off chaff units... love these little buggers :D

5x Chaos Warhound (45pts)
Vanguard, Poison

**Perform the same roll as the other hounds

18x Chaos Warriors (333pts)
Full Command, Mark of Slaanesh, Shields, Banner of Swiftness

**My Anvil. With sword and board and the mark of Slaanesh, I know they'll be where I need them WHEN I need them. And thanks to the banner are fast enough to keep up with the rest of the force.

12x Forsaken (252pts)
Mark of Slaanesh

**This unit has surprised MANY an opponent as not many players field them in a big unit these days. with a possible 4 each and ASF/Poison/Armor Piercing/regen/killing blow... yeh players soon realize why they are tough as nails. I use them as a good support for my anvil. Oh and with swift stride these guys are crazy fast

Special (545pts)

Chaos Knights (285pts)
Full Command, Enscrolled Weapons, Mark of Slaanesh, War Banner

**I LOVE my knights, I started having them in my force for fluff reasons as the backstory of Chaos Lord is he was once Bretonnian so fielded a LOT back in the day. These days I still take them since they are awesome flankers that can soak of a ton of damage and give out ashed load too. I gave them the War Banner for combat rez as it helps them break units faster, they act as support for my Soulcrushers (Skullscrushers).

Chimera (260pts)
Regenerating Flesh, Venmous Ooze

*This guy has a few roles, but mainly his job is to be big and scary... I know it sounds nuts, but I LIKE players shooting at this guy, it means they aren't shooting at my other stuff. He has poison simply because I like poisonous attacks. I know it's not "ideal", but I really appreciate them when I come up against something like a War Sphinx.

Rare (337pts)

4x Skullcrushers of Khorne (337pts)
Musician, Standard Bearer, Enscrolled Weapon, Gleaming Pennant

**My only none Slaaneshi component in my force. But these guys are just too good to leave at home. The 1+ armor save and 3 wounds a piece makes them super tough against infantry. I gave them the gleaming Pennant after the last game when they broke and fled off the table... lesson learned.

I know it's a little different to most builds. but it still has they hammer units, it still has a solid magic phase AND thanks to being pretty much impervious to most psychology sticks around much better than most forces.

My typical way to play this force is with two flanking forces with a solid center of Warriors and Forsaken. I try to stall heavy hitting units such as deathstars, monsterous cav, etc using either acquiescence or Choir while I deal with the other elements of the force then tend to throw something in to deal with it once I feel I have an advantageous situation to deal with them. I then try to tip combats my way through magic and multi charges. Sure, it doesn't have impact hits from chariots, but it is solid and it works :D My only real struggle these days is honestly is tar pits... those units designed to hold something up for an entire game.

I like the Iist! I wish skullcrushers were a little different, flavor-wise. I'd love it if they had some more fluff customization, so one could mark them as one chooses, because like you say, they are usually too good to leave at home these days.

Also, I just stumbled across your Diary the other day from a related thread. I'm slowly making my way through it. I'm loving it all so far. Keep up the great work!

Also, I haven't gotten many games in this summer. I kit-bashed a unit of Forsaken, but have yet to field one. How is the unit of 12 working out for you? I would have thought the lack of command and lack of supporting attacks would make them too expensive and unreliable in a larger block. What did of units do you send them against?

actually, they are pretty solid, I run them near my Warriors with the BSB so they have all the support they need... and they can cause some serious hurt in combat :D, sure they're pricey, but they do their job :D

BSB near the battle line is safe bet, I run mine on Disc's all the time. [thinking of going away from that]

absolutely :D I tried the whole mobile BSB gig... and hated it, though he was a LOT harder to kill with the extra wound and toughness, he just spent all the battle running all over the place and never really made his points sink worth it. As part of my Anvil, he shows his value and 2+/4++ is still REALLY tough to get past and gives me some extra protection for him with look out sir rolls, and a unit champion to soak up a round of challenges.

Thanks for your feed back general :D
