A friend of mine and I decided to give the Swedish Comp rules a try. To make a long story short when either of us make nasty lists the other one would like to give the other a chance to make something just as nasty so we make a list and say ok I made a comp score 0 now you, then we play. First we only do battle line since the comp document says that it's basically balanced around that (we don't mind). However, I was thinking that deploying terrain like it says in the rulebook would probably not be a good thing, i.e. he deploys one terrain piece then me then him etc… I would imagine that If we are using a comp system normally used for tournaments that the tables in those events are normally setup by the T.O. Does anyone know of any "guidance" TOs of Swedish Comped WFB events use? Maybe you've been a TO in such an event and can give me some guidance? If not, maybe some of you have some "packets" from tournaments with swedish comp that may reflect terrain, or perhaps even pictures of tables of such tournaments? Thanks for any help you can provide! |

At our tournament, we take between 5-6 terrain pieces. Normally 2 hills, 1 forest, 1 lake, a couple of fences and a mystical terrain piece. And a rule of thumb is to not put any terrain that either side can benefit to much from, in either deployment zones. Hope that helps :) //Svarten |

Another thing you can try to do is have two of each thing of terrain so that you can make mirrors of both sides. Each side has a hill on the left edge, forest on the right, and building in the middle etc... |
