Remember kids!
Fireballs happen. Especially in ruins. You know, when it's funny. Or not. Maybe giant robots happen.

Character
Name: Self-explanatory. Your character DOES have to have a name, after all.
Gender: Male, female, or somehow otherwise.
Birth Month/Day|Age: The month and day your character were born, and their age afterward, given the ambiguous date of the Legends series' occurance. Example format: 7/12|19 (would translate to July 12th, 19 years old)
Hair Color & Style: The color of your hair and the details of how it's styled, eg: short and curly, long and straight, etc. At the very least a small level of detail is preferred.
Eyes Color: The color of your irises. Simple enough, right?
Description:

  • Appearance: What your character looks like. Things such as the clothes they're wearing, their build, height, weight, skin color, etc. Pictures are of course allowed, and even encouraged if possible, but text descriptions are mandatory. You're encouraged to be as detailed as you can with this section, as well as...
  • Personality: The meat and potatoes of what makes your character who they are. This section describes their mannerisms, both alone and with other people preferably, their ways of thinking. Are they rather boisterous, sly, angry... here is where you tell us what your character is like on the inside!

Background History: The details on what your character has done before their existence as a character on the board. A good deal of detail is appreciated, and you can be as lengthy about it as you wish however it is recommended to at the very least to highlight a few important details. The background history is what shaped your character to be what they are now, as they went along their lives.
Point of Origin: Simple enough, where your character came from - you can be as general as what island, to even as specific as what village in what house on what island they hail from! If you're unsure, just pick an area in the IC section and run with it. You can even make up islands that your character is from that aren't listed.
Starting Point: Pick what island your character starts on! Because of how this game works, for a time your character will be without transportation to call their own. Per the rules your character will only be able to RP on this island unless they pay a (2000z) transport fee to another island, or gain their own form of transportation. You are required to keep track of your character's location in your signature - you can choose from Kattelox, Manda, Nino, Saul Kada, and Calinca Island currently. It is recommended that you start in Kattelox for the simple fact that Reaverbots and the like are far less dangerous, however it's your choice as to where you start.

NEW NOTE: All new characters for now start on Kattelox Island for now. This is because the other areas are substantially harder than Kattelox, and we'd like for a few people to work themselves up to bigger things first. If you really want you can try another island, but don't expect many people to follow.

Talents: Kind of a more open-ended profile section, at least for this kind of thing, the Talents section allows you to describe various skills and such your character has. What kind of things are they good with? Are they capable of building or repairing things, have medical knowledge or otherwise... the possibilities are endless! Take note, however, that depending on the talents, a staff member may have a discussion with you about how it will be used.

Character Build

There are four basic stats in the RPG(described below) that define certain physical capabilities of your character such as how much damage they can do, or their ability to take a hit. You have twenty points to spend on all four stats, and each stat is capped at eight points maximum which you can allocate. The effects of allocating points to each stat are described below.

  • Power: Determines the damage of your Basic Weapon, Special Weapons, and the like. Simple enough, this doesn't need any sort of scale as the math is done per-weapon. Also determines barehanded attack strength, which is something one can fall back on at any time if they are out of Energy - barehanded attacks deal damage of one's Power multiplied by 3.
  • Durability: Durability defines, quite simply, how much punishment your character can take before needing serious medical attention or having to get out of a fight. This RPG measures health just as any other, with an 'HP' stat, with each point in Durability providing 125 points of HP.
  • Agility: This stat sets a cap on how agile your character is, as well as how fast they can move. A scale has been set in place to measure the stat as more points are put into it.

    Agility Chart

  • Capacity: Determines the size of one's Energy tank, which more or less 'powers' any weapon that consumes Energy. Each point in Capacity is equal to 25 points of Energy. Additionally, at the beginning of every turn your Energy regenerates by 1 point - the amount regenerated cannot exceed your maximum Energy.

Basic Weapon Name

One's Basic Weapon is made purely for damaging or hindering the enemy; any other functions built into the Weapon(described in the 'Special' section) must be directly related to the weapon/the theme of the weapon, or they will be denied upon approval. You may choose to forfeit a Basic Weapon for a second Utility Power(listed later), or forfeit your Utility Power for another Basic Weapon.

Weapon Description: Here, you detail what your weapon looks like, as well as what it's offensive function is. Characters are not limited to simply Busters like in the games - be creative if you wish! Note that weapons can only have -one- offensive function in this section.

Damage: [Character's Power stat x5]

Special: (If Applicable) An extra ability that your weapon possesses - these include things such as the ability to charge by pouring one's Energy into the weapon to provide extra damage, or other abilities directly related to the weapon's attack. Specials cost Energy per usage for these extra capabilities, listed below. One Special per Basic Weapon. That's all.
>Energy Cost: How much Energy the Special eats up per usage. Simple.

Utility Power: _____

A Utility Power is a nonoffensive piece of equipment or ability that your character possesses, serving purposes similar to their name - oftentimes they help characters get around certain places or permit them to make certain unique actions. Utility Powers are solely non-damaging, unless such makes sense, and even then their damage would be far less than any regular weapon. You may choose to forfeit your Utility Power for another Basic Weapon, or forfeit your Basic Weapon for a second Utility Power.

Utility Description: Simple - this is what your Utility Power is/looks like if applicable, and what it is capable of doing. Like Basic Weapons, Utility Powers may only have one basic function and no other.

Special: (If Applicable) Similar to a Basic Weapon, a Special is an extra ability of the Utility Power. These cost Energy per usage for these extra capabilities. One Special per Utility Power.
>Energy Cost: Again, how much Ammo each Special eats per usage.
