Remember kids!
Fireballs happen. Especially in ruins. You know, when it's funny. Or not. Maybe giant robots happen.

Please see the Mech Rules for details on how to obtain one.

Mechaniloid
Name: Hey, robots have names too. They're usually not like human names, but hey.
Owner: Obviously, the character of yours who owns and has paid for the creation of this mech - someone has to pay to build it, whether it's for the parts or for someone else to make it!
Rank: Mech ranks range from D to S, with C, B and A in between them. See the aforementioned Mech Rules for Mech Rank pricing.
Function: This is actually rather simple, it denotes whether your mech is autonomous or piloted. For the most part the latter is how a mech is built to be used, however there are always exceptions.

Description:

  • Appearance: What your mech looks like. You know, all that robot-y goodness. Pictures are welcome, however text-based descriptions are mandatory.
  • Personality (if applicable): Yes, for those rare situations in which a robot has its own personality. This section is completely optional; if it does not apply, simply delete this section from your Mech application.

Background History (if any): The story of how this mech came to be, if necessary; oftentimes this applies mainly to 'found' mechs rather than bought or constructed ones. As with the Personality section, if this does not apply, simply delete it from the application upon posting.
Point of Origin: Where the mech was built or came from. Simple enough.

Mech Build

Much like humanoid characters, Mechs have stats of sorts which define their built-in physical capabilities. The class of the Mech determines their allocatable point pool for stats: D-rank mechs have 12 points, C-rank mechs have 14, B-ranks have 16, A-ranks have 18, and S-ranks have 20. Again, consult the Mech Rules as to how to obtain certain-ranked mechs. The cap for each of the four stats is 8 points - you may not increase a single stat to be more than that.

  • Power: Determines the damage of your Mech's Basic Weapon, the damage being calculated as their Power stat x8. Also determines how much damage that Special Weapons attached to the mechs deal, however every point in Power counts as 2 for this calculation.

  • Durability: As with Humanoid characters, Durability defines how much damage your fun little(or not so little) robot can take before being deactivated. Using the same HP system as Humanoids, each point in Durability counts as 250 HP for a Mech.

  • Speed: Speed is obvious enough - this stat sets a cap on how fast your mech can move. Unlike Humanoids, a more definite movement rate is set as these are wire and metal robots. It is a guideline for how far most mechs are expected to be able to move in the span of a single turn. These guidelines can be bent in-RP, on consent of all participants. 'MPT' stands for 'Meters Per Turn'. 'Start' signifies how fast the mech can move from a stationary position, and 'Top Speed' denotes how fast it would be moving if it had been spending a turn(or two) already having been in motion. 'Speed' counts as 'Agility' for things such as Special Weapon calculations or the like.

  • Aerial: The Aerial stat, simply enough, determines the jumping and even flight capabilities of your mech. A chart has been prepared to give a general idea of what each stat level grants your mech.

Depending on the rank of your Mech, they may have more than just these two slots - D-rank Mechs only have the Basic Weapon and Utility Power slots, B-ranks get upgraded to being able to have an extra Basic Weapon or Utility Power(copy and paste the code for either), and S-ranks are capable of having another Basic Weapon or Utility Power on top of the one normally obtained at B-rank, coming out at four slots total.

Basic Weapon Name

One's Basic Weapon is made purely for damaging or hindering the enemy; any other functions built into the Weapon(described in the 'Special' section) must be directly related to the weapon/the theme of the weapon, or they will be denied upon approval. You may choose to forfeit a Basic Weapon for a second Utility Power(listed later), or forfeit your Utility Power for another Basic Weapon.

Weapon Description: Here, you detail what your weapon looks like, as well as what it's offensive function is. Mechs are not limited to simply bombs or machine guns, things of that nature - be creative if you wish! Note that weapons can only have -one- offensive function in this section.

Damage: [Mech's Power Stat x8]

Mech Basic Weapons do not have a 'Special' function because they do not consume Energy as a stat.

Utility Power: _____

A Utility Power is a nonoffensive piece of equipment or ability that your mech possesses, serving purposes similar to their name - oftentimes they help characters get around certain places or permit them to make certain unique actions. Utility Powers are solely non-damaging, unless such makes sense, and even then their damage would be far less than any regular weapon. You may choose to forfeit your Utility Power for another Basic Weapon, or forfeit your Basic Weapon for a second Utility Power.

Utility Description: Simple - this is what your Utility Power is/looks like if applicable, and what it is capable of doing. Like Basic Weapons, Utility Powers may only have one basic function and no other.

Mechs do not have a Special section for their Utility Power because they do not consume Energy as a stat.
