Remember kids!
Fireballs happen. Especially in ruins. You know, when it's funny. Or not. Maybe giant robots happen.

Ah robots. What would the Legends universe be without them? Certainly you can remember how many of them you had to fight - now you can create your very own to use! There are, however, a few rules to consider when you want a mech of your very own:

Before even considering creating a Mech, you must know that they do cost money. Their cost is reflective of their capabilities - obviously the better they are, the more they will cost. These increased capabilities come in the form of Stat Points, and in a couple cases an increased amount of slots to have Basic Weapons or Utility Powers. When you create your Mech, refer to the Mech template, and once it is properly filled out you can submit it in the Character Creation forum for approval.

Now, without much further delay, here is a brief description of the various letter classes of mechs out there, and what their costs/benefits entail.

  • D-Rank Mechs: They aren't particularly awesome, but they're cool when you just want something cheap that'll do what you tell it to. In regards to the differences in their character sheet when you fill it out, a D-Rank Mech will have 8 stat points to allocate between its four different stats, and have two slots for Basic Weapons and Utility Powers. The cost for construction is 20,000 Zenny.

  • C-Rank Mechs: Starting to get good here, with a bit more functionality when you want them to really do things. To reflect this, a C-Rank Mech will have 10 stat points, however they will still have two slots for Basic Weapons and Utility Powers. It'll cost 45,000 Zenny for this rank of mech.

  • B-Rank Mechs: These mechs are reliable workhorses, a very-respectable middle-ground and well above the performance capabilities of the more commonplace Mechs. B-Rank Mechs have 12 Stat points, and have three slots for Basic Weapons and Utility Powers as opposed to the two that D and C-Rank Mechs have. 70,000 Zenny is the price you'll be paying for these steel hulks.

  • A-Rank Mechs: Beginning to reach the top of the line here, A-Rank Mechs tend to make those below them look like heaps of scrap and can outperform most things rather easily unless they're really pushing their limits. An A-Rank Mech has 14 Stat points, and has three slots for Basic Weapons and Utility Powers. These beasts will set you back a nice 100,000 Zenny if you want one of them.

  • S-Rank Mechs: The very top of the known line of mechs, S-Rank Mechs are virtual juggernauts compared to those below them in almost every way, having exceptional rates of functionality in just about every aspect. S-Rank Mechs have 16 Stat points, and have four slots for Basic Weapons and Utility Powers. If you want to call one of these metal monsters your own, be prepared to pay the price tag of 140,000 Zenny.

The appearance of a Mech and things of that nature are limited only by your imagination. If you want to make a tiny frog robot that has no offensive capabilities to speak of, by all means go ahead - and if you want to make a rather large hulking beast, go ahead. This being said, there are size limits per Mech class. We're going to be rather vague here on purpose for the sake of you being a bit freer to choose your size - the maximum size, period would be two to three stories, the minimum being about a foot tall. We're not going to be -too- picky, however this can change if abuse occurs.

Unlike a Carbon, Mechs do not have a Capacity stat - they are capable of using Special Weapons by the mech's owner mounting one of their Special Weapons onto it. Special Weapons replace one of the Basic Weapon/Utility Power slots while being in use, however they do not consume energy. Mech-mounted Special Weapons are considered to operate without any purchased upgrades.

It is possible to bring more than one Mechs into battle alongside your characters, 3 in total. However, the Ranks of these Mecha are limited. In a single battle, you can deploy up to:

-3 Rank C or lower Mecha
-2 Rank B or A Mecha
-1 Rank S Mecha

Enjoy creating and using your mechs!
