As you wander the various islands and their ruins, it will be inevitable for you to run into a Reaverbot of some sort - Reaverbots are often referred to the 'mysterious underground defenders' of the ruins, however they have been seen to pop up outside of villages on occasion - more often than not, this tends to indicate that one is close to the entrance of a ruin of some sort. After years and years of running into these enemies, a few brave Diggers have gone through the trouble of documenting as many Reaverbots as they could find and some basic details about them. Not all Reaverbots have been documented, supposedly, and while the 'common locations' have been listed, it is not uncommon to see certain Reaverbots pop up in places that they normally are not found. Reaverbots are classed as Mechs, however instead of given stat pools they are given concrete numerical values for their stats for Damage and Health, and for Speed and Aerial they are given estimates of how well they perform point-wise, from the normal 1-8 measurement of the Mech Template. They are all autonomous creatures, some with higher levels of intelligence than others. Note though, that not all Reaverbots were created equal! All images credited to the Mega Man Legends Station, uploaded and edited remotely to save their bandwidth. Lots of love, guys! Zakobon ![]() Mech Rank: D Health: 75 Speed: 4 Aerial: 1 The Zakobon is probably one of the less-intelligent Reaverbots known - they are also, of course the most often-seen type of Reaverbot in ruins. It is often easy to tell when they are around, as their normal protocols involve slowly 'marching' around ruins, making distinct stepping sounds as they go. Upon detecting an intruder, they quickly spring to action, their tiny legs turning into powerful pneumatic propulsion systems which send them in one direction so as to position themselves to attack the enemy. Don't let their cute looks fool you - they're almost as tall as the average person, and certainly bulkier! However, the bit about intelligence is well-founded - Zakobons have often been seen as 'comic relief' for more experienced Diggers, having on occasion propelled themselves into holes or fallen off platforms and bounced around, trying to right themselves. Attack 1: Top Spin - 35 Damage The Zakobon quickly spins itself around and throws itself at the enemy, unwilling to stop for anything, including anything that might shoot at or attack it in any way. Upon colliding with any sort of person or wall/object, the Zakobon ricochets off of it, eventually coming to a halt. Attack 2: Zakobon Bomb - 45 Damage Leaning back on two legs, the Zakobon fires a medium-sized grenade from its underside that travels for several meters. Upon contact with an enemy, or after a second or two on the ground, the grenade explodes, the size of the explosion normally not large enough to cause any sort of splash damage. Common Locations: Zakobon in general are inhabitants of pretty much any area in Kattelox Island where Reaverbots can pop up. You can usually expect to find Zakobons in groups, almost no matter what. Sharukurusu ![]() Mech Rank: C Health: 300 Speed: 5 Aerial: 4 The Sharukurusu has long been regarded as the intelligent guard of ruins all around the world, patrolling rooms with unfaltering focus and attention to detail. When not aware of an intruder, they march through rooms, standing straight up and constantly looking to the left and right to detect enemies. When either hearing or seeing an intruder, they quickly break into a sprint, relentlessly chasing down their target and attacking, using enhanced tactics to destroy their foes as well as being capable of long jumps to cross large gaps. Sharukurusu are very intelligent - be careful when they're around! Attack 1: Spinning Claws - Damage: 25x3 The two long claws at the end of the Sharukurusu's arms spin at high speeds, used to impale enemies when they hunt them down. Plain and simple. These claws can also be used in a chop-attack motion for the same amount of damage. Attack 2: Body Ram - Damage: 75 Sharukurusu's second attack involves literally ramming straight into their enemies, often used to pin their foes down or knock them over with sheer brute force. Their size and bulk lends to this well, enabling them to do this without even losing any sort of momentum if they miss. Common Locations: Sharukurusu are known so far to inhabit only Kattelox Island, not particularly in droves but they are fairly common. Arukoitan and Orudakoitan ![]() ![]() Mech Rank: D(Orudakoitan), C(Arukoitan) Health: 100(Orudakoitan), 130(Arukoitan) Speed: 1(Orudakoitan), 5(Arukoitan) Aerial:1(Orudakoitan), 4(Arukoitan) These Reaverbots always come in pairs, normally one to three pairs per encounter with them. Arukoitan is an agile Reaverbot, hopping and leaping around areas and around intruders, ramming into them and strafing them with fire, focused more on distracting and destroying the enemy like that than outright combat. They are very intelligent, capable of advanced tactics, however... to the experienced Digger they learn that the intelligence, or even the movement of the Arukoitan comes from their partner, the Orudakoitan. This Reaverbot does not move at all, supported on the ground by three legs with its head spinning like a radar. Once any enemy enters a room with an Orudakoitan, it sends a signal to the Arukoitan that it controls, leading it to it and causing it to attack. Destroying the Orudakoitan means that the Arukoitan will cease to move, instead standing in place, allowing it to be easily destroyed. Attack 1: Aru Fireball(Arukoitan Only) - 50 Damage From the singular cannon on its head, the Arukoitan shoots a fireball around the size of its own head towards the enemy, which continues onwards until it hits something, dissipating afterwards. It has no special qualities, however the fireball tends to knock enemies back rather than knock them down outright, instead being a setup for the rest of the Arukoitan's tactics. Attack 2: Body Ram(Arukoitan Only) - 60 Damage While jumping around, the Arukoitan occasionally rams itself into the enemy, normally knocking them down, moreso if they have already been knocked back by one of their fireballs. Simple enough of an attack, right? Common Locations: Arukoitan and Orudakoitan can be found pretty much anywhere, though they tend to concentrate on Kattelox for the most part. Mirumijee ![]() Mech Rank: D Health: 50 Speed: 2 Aerial: 3 Also affectionately referred to as 'that snake thing', Mirumijee come in packs rather than just on their own, generally. They are rather weak, but they make up for their weakness by swarming their foes. Having no legs, they wriggle along the ground like the bastard children of a snake and caterpillar, occasionally 'standing up' and using their singular eyes to scan the area. Once focused upon an enemy, the Mirumijee that spots an intruder sends out a signal audible only to its own kind, which causes them all to swarm that one enemy. As such they make no real attempt to dodge attacks, however they have been known to occasionally get lucky. Attack 1: Worm Flip - Damage: 20 Flinging itself at the enemy, Mirumijee attempts to damage the enemy by simply flailing them, making good use of their worm-like qualities. This is... well, it's the only attack that Mirumijee has, relying instead on the power of numbers to overwhelm the enemy rather than trying to strategize. Common Locations: Mirumijee can be found anywhere throughout the world, from Kattelox to Calinca... to everywhere in between. Shekuten ![]() Mech Rank: D Health: 70 Speed: 2 Aerial: 1 An interesting breed of Reaverbot, the Shekuten hides within its near-indestructible pointed shell, with the singular red eye inside of it remaining closed until an unwary trespasser steps too close to its territory. At this point, the eye opens up and the Shekuten sprouts from its shell, its tiny legs compelling it to walk always closer to the enemy. The Shekuten, once close enough to the enemy, begins to flash red, sacrificing its own life as it is literally the suicide bomber of the Reaverbots, exploding. If defeated, the Shekuten tends to explode anyways, putting the victor in danger oftentimes anyways. Shekuten tend to appear in groups of four to twelve. Attack 1: Kamikaze - 70 Damage The Shekuten's sole function is to walk straight up to their enemy and detonate, losing their own 'lives' in the process but hopefully damaging their foe. The blast radius of the explosion is rather respectable, being akin to a powerful grenade. Common Locations: Shekuten has so far only been found within Kattelox's ruins, however it is entirely possible that something has been missed. Foo-roo ![]() Mech Rank: D Health: 50 Speed: 2 Aerial: 8 The Foo-roo is... to be honest, it's really only there to annoy you. They appear in groups of two to eight usually, spinning around harmlessly in the air, and once you are spotted they begin to float towards you - their only purpose in life is to bother you and harm you via - you guessed it, ramming into you. Yep. That's it. Enemies made specifically to bother you. Don't you love Reaverbots? Oh, and also, when a Foo-roo sees you, every freaking enemy in the room knows where you are. Goodie! Attack 1: His Face - Damage: 30 Foo-roo smashes into you while he's flying. Do you really need a more detailed explanation than this? Common Locations: Almost every ruin on Kattelox Island is plagued with these stains upon the universe. But that's okay, because you can deal with them, right? Mimic ![]() Mech Rank: C Health: 120 Speed: 1 Aerial: 1 Oh how we all love Mimics. Don't you? If you answered yes then you're ABSOLUTELY FREAKING WRONG! Mimics are the bane of the common adventurer, perfectly replicating a good treasure chest, and then right when you open it there's a trap! Many Diggers have fallen prey to these Reaverbots, but you must make sure not to! Be careful when you open a chest... Attack 1: Mouthbomb? - Damage: 30x3 Upon being opened, the Mimic spits three grenades from its 'mouth', the opening in the chest. The grenades explode upon contact with any solid object. That's... really about it. Attack 2: I Can Walk Again! - Damage: 90 When a Digger gets close to a Mimic, it may well sprout legs and run down the hallway, running back to its original spot later and taking its place again! When 'seated', the Mimic cannot take damage - it only can when running. Damage is caused by running into the Mimic, who isn't going to stop for anything. Common Locations: Anywhere you can find a treasure chest, possibly. Jakko and Nest ![]() Mech Rank: C(Both) Health: 75(Jakko), 150(Nest) Speed: 5(Jakko), 1(Nest) Aerial: 8(Jakko), 1(Nest) The Jakko and its Nest are an interesting pair - when one comes upon them, oftentimes only the Nest is found. Upon stepping too close to the nest, a multitude(usually up to 3 or 4 Jakko are outside at once) of Jakko erupt from the Nest to defend it, using deft aerial maneuvers with the power of their unfettered flight to fight off the enemy or even outright destroy them. The Nest itself has absolutely no fighting capabilities whatsoever, let alone the ability to move. It relies on the near-innumerable amount of Jakkos that it holds to fight for it. The exact distance one can stand from a Nest without provoking it seems to be random - some Jakkos are more easily-agitated than others. If this distance can be measured, however, defeating a Nest without stirring up the Jakkos inside(apparently they only come out when you get too close[/i]) should not be too hard of a problem. Attack 1: Insect Rush - Damage: 30(Jakko Only) The Jakko, using its speed and aerial capabilities, has only one attack, and that is to ram straight into the freaking enemy until it's dead. They take advantage of their numbers, making up for their weaknesses. Pretty simple attack, otherwise... Common Locations: The Jakko and its Nest can be found all over Kattelox Island, however they appear more often in dark places... Miroc ![]() Mech Rank: C Health: 100 Speed: 7 Aerial: 3 The exact purpose of the Miroc is, well... completely unknown, the little birdies being maybe a foot tall. Sure, Reaverbots are meant to be ruin guardians, but... for the most part, they zip around the ruins, going about rather strange bits of business. Certain breeds of Miroc are not afraid to fight, but for the most part they run off, preferring to do whatever 'job' they have. Nobody has been able to actually follow them yet, so what they do is still a mystery. The Miroc is a seemingly random creature, and sometimes instead of letting itself be followed it vanishes into thin air without a trace. Attack 1: Flippin' The Bird - Damage: 50 Despite its small stature, when it needs to attack the Miroc packs quite a punch. It's attack consists mainly of flipping into the air and at the enemy, smashing into them and knocking them back, oftentimes so they can get away. ... Hey, ever notice a bit of a pattern with crazy body-ramming Reaverbots? Special Ability: The Miroc occasionally chooses to retreat completely instead of just running, and it uses its strange powers of avoidance to completely disappear from sight, to the point where it cannot be located anymore. Where it goes, well... nobody knows. Common Locations: Miroc are, well... everywhere? You in a ruin? You might find a Miroc. Guruguru ![]() Mech Rank: C Health: 120(real health), 100(damage must be dealt to flip it over) Speed: 3(changes to 5 when attacking) Aerial: 1 The Guruguru is considered one of the 'stranger' Reaverbots, and has certainly weirded a good few Diggers out with their many legs that tap upon the ground at all times, and their mouths always looking ready to eat. Upon sighting an enemy they slowly close in, their hard shells being able to take a good deal of damage without allowing their real frames to take damage. Upon taking a certain amount of damage to the shell, however, the Guruguru flips over, its vulnerable underside exposed as it tries in vain to right itself. The Digger who manages to do this must then attack the underside if they wish to defeat the Guruguru, however once they deal the amount of damage that it took to flip them over, the Guruguru is then flipped back over onto its legs. The only way to kill it without it flipping over again(and therefore taking more time as you would have to flip it over again) is to deal its health in damage at the time it would flip over, bypassing that stage and allowing the Guruguru to die then. These Reaverbots are not particularly smart - they just attack and follow their enemies. Attack 1: Not Another Ramming Attack - Oh But This One Has Teeth - Damage: 70 Simple enough: once it gets close enough(distance is subjective), the Guruguru bursts into a full 'run' and attempts to crash its body into the enemy's own, snarling and biting all the way along. And... that's about it. Yep. Another ramming attack. Whoops. Common Locations: ... Well, anywhere, really. Cannam ![]() Mech Rank: B Health: 120 Speed: 4 Aerial: 2 The Cannam is a wall-crawling Reaverbot by nature, surprising countless Diggers by dropping in from above with not even a sound made - they are famous for their rather soundless approach to movement as opposed to many other Reaverbots. They are the stealthy warriors of their kind, dropping their 'care packages' or in more obvious terms, bombs, from above, then disappearing without a trace. Sometimes, they drop from above themselves just to smash their foes like bugs - odd, that, considering how buglike the Cannam looks. However, size generally beats you out in that case. The Cannam is unique in that it can flip its body around - it can easily walk on a wall while its underside is to you, for instance. Surprisingly, it is a bit flimsy for a B-rank Reaverbot, however its other features most likely make up for that. Attack 1: Bug Bomb - Damage: 80 The Cannam drops a round bomb from either its underside or its back(whichever is facing down at the time), which either explodes after a set time or on contact. The explosion is of mild size, not particularly dangerous to people around the victim unless they just happen to group together way too much. Other than that, it's a rather simple attack. Attack 2: Heavy Frame - Damage: 90 The Cannam is such a heavy Reaverbot(it just has reaaaally good ways of sticking to the wall, trust us) that dropping on top of the enemy causes a good deal of damage in itself, not to mention would probably knock or pin them down. Yeah. Pretty simple. Holy crap an original body ram attack! Common Locations: Unfortunately, Cannam can pop up pretty much anywhere, though usually in major ruins. Remember, the biggest threats aren't always on the ground... Thankfully, they generally don't show up too often, and when they do it's normally just one, maybe two. Gorubeshu ![]() Mech Rank: C Health: 120 Speed: 2 Aerial: 1 The Gorubeshu is an armored guard of ruins, much like the Sharukurusu - except where the Sharukurusu is the ever-swift avenger, the Gorubeshu is the stalwart guardian, protecting its territory unfailingly with buster and shield. Its shield seems to have been reported as near-indestructible by Diggers who have run into them, however the methods to break the shield are known... but not spread past the few Diggers that had fought them. The Gorubeshu's buster spits out fireballs, which they shoot several in the course of a turn, always training their weapon on their enemy. This Reaverbot is heavily armored, especially for a C-rank Reaverbot, and is not one to forget your face once it sees it. Attack 1: Firestorm Buster - Damage - 50x3 The Gorubeshu's trademark buster fires three large fireballs(almost as large as it is) per turn, each fireball trained on the enemy's position when they move. It may be simple, but simplicity can often be powerful when used correctly! Special Ability: Knight Shield In the Gorubeshu's left hand is a great shield which covers its body - it can raise it at any time it wishes to protect it from ranged and melee attacks. Strategy is necessary to fight these Reaverbots, as very few weapons can break through them! Common Locations: Oddly enough, the Gorubeshu seem to have been found in the darker ruins, mainly near Clozer Ruins - the Sub-Gate to be specific. Nobody has dared go into Clozer Ruins as of late... and nobody wants to. Hammuru Doll ![]() Mech Rank: B Health: 500 Speed: 4 Aerial: 1 Often known as one of the more fearsomely resilient Reaverbots in the known system of ruins, the Hammuru Doll has as of late taken back stage to many other smaller, stronger 'bots, however it is still a force in its own right. The massive robot is often ten to twenty feet tall(height can vary), with its massive pointed arms befitting its name - they smash and smash until nothing is left of their opponents. The Hammuru Doll is often rather simple in its strategy, but for such a big robot it can move with some speed! Be careful... the arms are more than they appear. Attack 1: Hammerhands - Damage: 100 The Hammuru Doll lifts its massive arms with ease and smashes whatever is in front of it. Simple enough, right? Attack 2: Detachable Limbs - Damage: 120 Arms suddenly detaching from its body, the Hammuru Doll shoots both of its arms at the enemy, the arms actually capable of adjusting direction when their foe moves. After a time, the arms return and reattach. Common Locations: Hammuru Doll is almost never found in major ruins - mostly the Sub-Gates is where you can find it.
