Description:
You are a common peon compared to the Saiyan elite. If you wish to take part in their rigorous exercises and train to become something of an elite soldier you must do some pretty nasty things. You will live in a military bunk house, and you will do what the cadet's tell you to do. Anything from cleaning the crap they left in the toilet, to licking the muddy floor of their outpost.

Shoved; face-first into the puddle of mud again, Android X inhaled as he hit the ground, receiving a mouth full of muddy water. He coughed repeatedly, trying to clear the brown liquid from his lungs, but found the attempt pointless. Another minute and he would be face down in it again. He looked around at the cadets who made themselves at home on this military outpost. Their faces almost a blur as he began to drift in and out of consciousness. He had been going through this for weeks now. Rigorous exercises; including scrubbing the toilet bowls with his tooth brush, cooking everyone but himself, breakfast, lunch and dinner and doing endless loads of laundry, especially soiled underwear.

Android X dropped his tooth brush and gripped his hand in pain, trying to massage out the over-exerted muscles. He looked around cautiously, awaiting the next hazing that was just around the corner. He listened closely for a minute, hearing nothing. Odd, he thought to himself. Usually they would have been up, making a racket like usual. This night was different, there wasn't a sound being made at all...

As he made his way outside, the night air stung his nostrils, causing him to cringe a bit as he sniffed for signs of the Soldiers who usually occupied this territory. He walked around the outpost, seeing signs of no one, and cautiously proceeded outside the perimeter. As he walked, he thought things seemed strange and used his Ki Sense Level 1 to scan for power levels in the vicinity. Wait, what's this? he thought, as he picked something up nearby. The android quickly gathered himself, thinking something serious must be happening. His Ki Suppression already in effect, he crept alongside an outer-wall of the military outpost. Finally he reached a nook in the wall and made his move, sensing several energies just around the corner.. he jumped out, fists up and clenched, ready to go to War and save his fellow cadets.

"BOO!" said the voices of 4 cadets, who had been laying in wait for the Android for some time now. Android X jumped backward, startled extremely and began to wheeze. He grabbed his stomach and tried to control his breathing, but his heart rate was pounding upward through the roof. He looked forward, his vision slightly blurred and saw all the cadets rolling on the ground, laughing at him. The poor android fell to his knees, unable to catch his breath from the horrid scare. He took another shallow breath in, and then passed out.

The sizzling sounds and smell of bacon crept into the sleeping Android's nasal passages, encouraging his eyelids to pull themselves apart. He laid horizontally on a not-so-comfortable wooden bench, or so he thought at first. As he tried to lift his arms and sit up, he found that he was immobilized. Looking down the Android realized he wasn't laying down at all and was instead standing. His eyes widened as he looks down to discover that he was standing, duct-taped to a wooden post with something like 20 rolls of duct-tape. His eyes flickered back and forth curiously, in a half-panic state, wondering what else he would discover of his current situation. The smell of food cooking provoked his stomach into a growling noise that not only echoed through the Android's ears, but tugged at his intestines, as though begging for a meal.

Suddenly a door burst open, and the cadets he had seen the night before, laughing at his peril, began to flood the room. Android X sighed heavily, knowing there was sure to be more hazing to come. The android closed his eyes softly and waited for a punch to his gut or a bucket of feces to be splashed over his head. Nothing happened. Slowly his eyes re-opened to see the cadets sitting at a table, clanging their silverware and eating a breakfast, they had actually cooked themselves. Android X's jaw fell slightly as he exhales a sigh of relief and surprise. Who were these people? and what had they done with the Real cadets who would drag him outside in the middle of the night and strip his clothes away, leaving him to face the cold weather and irrigation system in the nude. Who were these, considerate people, eating with silverware and using napkins to wipe debris of bacon and egg whites from their lips? Where were the savage beasts who tore through pounds of food the android had slaved over for hours, in mere seconds. Only to blast the dishes to dust with Ki bursts and eye lasers and then turn to him and demand seconds, or even dessert. Where were the Soldiers he was used to, the Soldiers he longed to see returned.

"Hey, Hey! look who's awake!" said the voice of Heug, the Pig-faced Captain of this wild bunch. The others, the android noted were most definitely Heug's right-hand; Virz, his left-hand Talo, and perhaps the scariest-looking of the bunch, Gaw, but Android X was uncertain, due to his his vision being blurred and his head throbbing. The android awaited hands upon him, fists flying toward his face, boots stomping down on his bare feet. There was peace. No one laid a finger on him and he blinked a few times, revealing to himself that none of the cadets had moved from the table at all, and were still enjoying their breakfasts in a civilized manner.

"That was some scare you had last night, huh?" teased Talo, who smirked devilishly at Android X and nodded to the others at the table in approval. Android X's stomach growled again, this time the whole room heard it and laughter once again filled the air and the android's ears. This time the android's lips arched downward, frowning slightly at the mockery of his condition and overall well-being.

Android X moved his hand suddenly, ripping through the 20-some rolls of layered duct-tape. He lifted his chin slightly, his eyes narrowing and focusing on the cadets occupying the table before him. The chiming and clanging of the forks and knifes suddenly halted against thin tin plates. Eyes looked up at him as he slowly walked toward the table, chewing stopped in mid crunch. The android's hand reached forward suddenly, snatching a piece of bacon, sticking half-way out of Heug's mouth. He retracted his arm and stuck the piece of crispy bacon to his lips, eventually working it inside his mouth and against his tongue. Flavors swirled through the android's mouth and filled his senses with pleasure. His stomach churned as juices trickled down his throat and teased his appetite. Android X finished the piece of bacon and grinned widely, turning and leaving the mess-hall while the cadets still sat quiet, aw-struck. The android celebrated his small victory and savored it along with the taste of bacon, knowing there would be hell to pay later.

Heug, Virz, Talo and Gaw looked endlessly for Android X, combing the entire compound to no avail. His Ki Suppression was working well. The android sat, high up in a tree outside the outpost, watching as the cadets searched for him. Trying to calm himself and gather his patience back together, so he could return to work... after all, he was here to cater to these brutes' needs and every waking desires. A little while longer, he though, then he would go back and make amends, accepting whatever punishment in store for him. He smiled slightly at the thought of returning to the usual routine of cooking and cleaning, and how the bristles of his tooth brush would resemble the night sky by day's end.

Suddenly the outposts' perimeter was tripped. Lights erupted, flashing wildly as though to beg for attention to be paid. Piercing through the afternoon air and Android X's ears, the screeching alarm system of the military compound almost threw him from his perch in the tree. Shaking it off the android regained his composure and leaned forward slightly, looking hard into the edge of the tree-line, the edge of the perimeter. Just as he expected, Smilovenator Horridus... But one thing he hadn't expected; there were Thousands of them, and they were coming fast and hard.

Android X stood, balancing on the high, skinny tree branch, feeling it buckle and moan under his weight. He sprung outward, sailing like a bird for a few brief moments through the air. Planet Vegeta's x4 Gravity had become child's play to the android and he smiled softly as he lofted through it like a paper airplane on the breeze. Decent, and now he was falling, head first toward one of the massive, native creatures; known as the Smilovenator Horridus. Android X had done his homework and saw the resemblance of these beasts to the Smilovenator Horribili, perhaps their blood was the same color as well.

Cadets poured from the confines of the mess hall and barracks, rushing onward to meet the invading forces head on. The outpost's walls buckled and then gave way, as large numbers of the Horridus rammed through in succession. Android X's eyes caught sight of the first drops of blood, spewing through the air, this was the blood of a fellow cadet. The Horridus thrashed wildly, tearing and spearing their way through everyone in their path, living up to their ancestors terrible legacy. Ki Blasts and eye lasers ripped through the scene. Cadets battled against the beasts with weapons, mess-hall trays, fists and feet. Limbs were sent scattering proceeding spurts and pools of blood. This was an all out War.

Android X slammed straight through the back of one of the creatures, passing through it's internals and ripping out the other side. His weight propelled him, almost thrust him faster through the beast. He met the hard ground on the other side and caved into it, covered in red Smilovenator blood. He looked around for familiar faces amongst the chaos of the battle. Suddenly he saw Virz's face and he smiled, feeling relieved. His relief was cut short quickly as he watched the face of his old aggressor and peer, his old friend, lift through the air, attached to the rest of Virz's head and come whizzing past him. The android cringed and his blood began to boil, turning to meet a beast charging straight toward him. Android X rushed head first into the Dino-like creature, smashing his fist outward at it's approaching muzzle. His knuckles landed, hard against the snout and penetrated through skin, muscle and bone, into brain tissue. The android opened his hand around the brain stem and then clutched with all his might, pulling hard. As motion turned to stillness, Android X released the Horridus brain and connecting spinal column from his grip, letting it drop to the ground beside him.

Heug and Talo landed on either sides of Android X.

"Having fun yet?" snarled Heug, his face almost unrecognizable due to the amount of blood and spit that had staked-claim on it. Talo laughed and patted the android on the back, "If you're not, you sure will when you have to clean all this mess up later!"
Android X smirked lightly at the thought and then his eyes shot around frantically, looking for their other partner in crime. His eyes darted left and right, up and down, but failed to find Gaw. As though sensing his frustration, Talo lowered a hand to the android's shoulder and peered into his eyes. Talo shook his head slowly and aimed his gaze toward the ground. "We're all that's left now..."

Heug chimed in, "We've got company!" encouraging the android's head to turn and witness the horde of Horridus who had surrounded the three of them. Android X used his Ki Sense, gathering that there was still some god-awful number of these beats remaining, and they had grown more ferocious than ever. The android clenched his fists and lowered into his stance slightly. Heug and Talo would have his back.. but would he be able to get theirs? Swallowing hard, Android X awaited the inevitable. The beasts all around them scoffed and roared, as though celebrating victory. Heug suddenly through his arms outward and a Large Ki Wave engorged the masses in front of him. Without delay, Talo sprung upward, flipping into the new hole in the opposition and his eye's flashed and spewed lasers in all directions as he turned his head wildly. Android X stood motionless, watching as the two Soldiers fought against the beats. Cutting monsters in half with knife-hand chops and nearly disintegrating others with Ki blasts and Eye lasers. The android watched in aw as these brave warriors gave it everything they had, and began to be overwhelmed.

"SNAP OUT OF IT!" screamed Talo, who had turned and noticed the android was frozen in place. Android X turned and looked into the eyes of Talo. The android's hand flew up suddenly in combination with his mouth's opening as if to scream and pull Talo away at the same time. He was too far away however, and could only watch as the infamous Jaws of the Smilovenator Horridus, clamped down around the mid section of his comrade. Talo buckled and his eyes flew open, releasing two beams of energy straight at Android X.

Android X remained, frozen, trembling at what he had just witnessed, at all the things he had just witnessed, all the death around him, all the pain. He closed his eyes, as though to block it out, thinking that maybe if he just kept them closed, when he opened them again, he would wake up from this horrible nightmare. Visions of the past year flashed through his mind. From his arrival at the military outpost, to his first encounter with the group of four. Memories rippled across the backside of his eyeballs as he stood, frozen in time. He saw the smiling, laughing faces of Virz and Talo. He recalled the time that he had just finished cleaning Gaw's toilet, only to have him bust into the latrine and deface it again. He remembered all the hazings, all the torture he had endured at the hands of these monsters, these brutes, these... friends. One last vision flashed through his mind, the events of the previous day, when he had finally stood up to the cadets and snatched the bacon from Heug's mouth. He didn't remember how the group sat silent, mouths hanging open, he didn't remember how you could've heard a pin drop for miles around or how the sweet bacon tasted on his tongue. What he remembered; was the look in the eyes of Heug. A look he hadn't seen the entire time he had been stationed at the outpost. The look, was acceptance, the look, was respect.

Android X's eyes flew open and he saw the massive Eye laser blast from Talo engulfing his view. Before he could react, the android's vision was consumed by darkness and he inhaled deeply. An exhale followed after holding his breath for what seemed like an eternity. His eyes stung as they tried to comprehend why everything had gone black. Then they began to adjust, revealing that they hadn't quit working, but that their perspective had been obstructed. Dark nothingness took shape slowly in the form of armor plating, covering a large mass. Details began to emerge as his eyes adjusted further, showing large blood patterns, thrown across the armor and surrounding garments. Android X's eyes moved slowly, trying to join up with his brain to recognize and give meaning to the things he saw before him. At last, a pig-like snort activated the android's ears and all his senses banded together, slapping his brain as though to exclaim, Heug!

The giant Pig-faced Brute, had taken the blow. And suddenly sunlight spilled back into the android's adjusted eyes, almost blinding him. He blinked profusely, trying to see and watched as the shadow descended into his peripherals and then out of sight. Android X stood, his eyes coming to grips with the new found light, and saw Heug's body laid about before him, face down in the blood-stained dirt. The android's mind raced and time suddenly jerked him back to reality. As all the images registered in his brain, the motion of his comrades completely ceased. All alone now, he thought, as he looked down at the ground. The sun had just set and the darkness blanketed everything around, especially the native creatures who once again had surrounded the android. This time he didn't have anyone to save him, this time, it was up to him.

He recalled the strain his eyes had endured and cracked a half-smile. He threw his hands suddenly to his temples, closing his eyes and his vocal chords, throat and tongue teamed up to released a piercing-scream.
A Solar Flare blinded every creature for miles instantly and Android X went to work.

For the next few weeks Android X worked to rebuild the outpost and clean up the messes. He took his time and made sure to do a thorough job. Taking extra care to put the bunks of his fallen comrades back in tip top shape. He laid their plates and silverware out in their designated spots at the table. He did their laundry and scrubbed for hours at their already immaculate toilets. Android X sighed heavily and lit up a cigarette, stepping outside the barracks and looking upward into the heavens. Imagining that in the clouds above him he could almost see the faces of Heug, Virz, Talo and Gaw staring back at him. The android lifted his hand away from his cigarette; which rested, pinned in the corner of his mouth, and gave a salute upward. He turned slowly and exhaled, blowing smoke from his lungs and ashing the cancer-stick. His eyes came to rest upon the restored compound before him and then he turned, examining his work on the new perimeter he had built to encircle the base.

Android X nodded to his own satisfaction and began to walk back toward the barracks. As he walked he saw a slight indentation in the ground before him that had collected some rain water and coxed the surrounding dirt to join it, forming a thick-muddy concoction. The android strolled past the puddle, his eyes smiling softly. He then turned quickly, and threw himself, face-first into the mud-puddle. Android X inhaled as he hit the ground, receiving a mouth full of muddy water. He coughed repeatedly, trying to clear the brown liquid from his lungs, but found the attempt pointless. Another minute and he would be face down in it again...
