Chapter 1: What's a Veronica?

Twas a dark day over the planet, the suns eclipsing for a small period of time in an event that came once every thousand years or so. The frog appreciated the dark, taking this time to sleep under a rock in the small cess-pool of water. His eyes closed as his mind went over the contstant new rules of his new rank, all the moves of the new styles and techniques were now apparent to him. But his mind still had trouble processing them all, but it was slowly being done as he napped. But as he napped, the time passed and the suns slowly began to show again. As the light fell back upon the planet, the frog's eyes shot open. Having finished what he was doing at the exact moment that the planet had come back to life.

The frog felt refreshed, buckling on his sword and fixing his cape around his neck. He stared at the green sky, all was at peace. Over the course of the time he had been on the planet, he had improved his relationships with the natives quite well. He would often walk through there villages, observing the things for sale and what not, it was a fun pastime, and certainly rewarding. For these natives, which had revealed themselves to be Namekians, were master story crafters. It was always entertaining to listen to them weave their tales of wonder.

On this day in particular however, all was quiet as he entered the village, there were no laughing children, no people out on the streets, it seemed empty. But as he stepped through, suddenly a younger boy came from nowhere tugging his sleeve and saying, "Furoggu-san! Furoggu-san! Come quick! There is someone here that needs a warrior, you are perfect Furoggu-san!" The frog calmed the boy down as they walked, trying to coax whatever information he could, but the boy would only tell him that there was a strange being asking for assistance.

The frog and the boy walked until they entered one of the tents, the warriors and mystics of the Namekian village gathered around, looking at the frog, who was staring at the being, it looked much like the Erthe. Except it had fatty deposits on it's chest and it had much longer hair, when it spoke. It's voice was light and high-pitched and not low like the Erthe, perhaps another of his species? The other Erthe looked at him, it's eyes opened wide until it said, "My name is Veronica, I am from the planet Earth. I have come here to speak to a warrior about something important, I take it you are a warrior... Frog-man?"

The frog nodded, her words confused him, she was from Earth, but there was an Erthe? He shook his head, deciding to simply call her a Veronica. He looked at it, and then said, "*Ahem* Yes, I am a warrior, I hail from the Planet Marsh, and I will help thee in thy quest. What is it you seek Veronica?"

She looked at him, then she said, "I wish to speak to you in private? If that's ok?" The frog nodded and looked around the room, the Namekians shuffled out one after the other until they both were alone, then Furoggu said, "Now, what is it?"

[I apologize for this post, it wasn't my greatest post ever because I was tired and it was rushed. Also, not the best quest I could have picked. It didn't interest me that much. It gets better at the battle. The final post will be better though.]

Chapter 2: Man, when am I gonna make harder quests?

A deep sigh came from the woman's lips. Staring around, the frog continued to watch. She was an odd creature, so depressed and worried. The frog was a patient fellow however, he continued to watch until suddenly she started speaking. "Look, your definitely not what I had in mind, but i'm not left with many other options. There was a murder, one of my superiors. We know who the murderer is, but we've had a hard time tracking him down. His name is Pear. He's a Namekian, and my superior is not the only death on his list. Look Frogman, I don't know who you are. But you look tough enough to handle this. So you think you can do it?" The frog thought on it for a few seconds and then said, "Thy maiden, you are not one of my clan. I have naught seen a female of your species, but I will help thee, for thou should not be worrying about this. It shalt be done."

The Veronica looked at him with a strange look, it showed... Confusion? Perhaps, who knew exactly? Whatever reason, the Veronica sighed and nodded, standing up she fumbled with the covering over her fatty deposits and then stepped out from the tent, throwing a piece of paper down on the table as she did so. The frog picked it up after she left, looking at it with a look of confusion. He observed the strange symbols on it, and after a few minutes gave up. He held the paper in his hands as he hopped from the tent, finding one of the Namekians he looked at him and asked, "Young sir, do you perhaps know what the symbols on this paper say?" The Namekian looked at them and laughed and replied back to him, "Yes I do, this is English. It's the language of the lady you just met and the language that you speak. Odd that you can't read it young frog. Hmmmm, it says..."

Last Known Location: West Village [Last seen three days ago]

The frog took these words to heart and nodded, thanking the Namekian he held his blade steady as he hopped, he just happened to know where West Village was. Hopefully this Namekian was still there, the sooner that he finished this "mission" the sooner he could continue hunting down evil, and while this Plum fellow was indeed an evil fellow, his power level was weak. It was much weaker, twas not a challenge to the frog. But he would be doing a good deed, and that was what he had to do. He had sworn to do every and all good deed that he was given, and no matter what. He would not refuse any quests.

It took several minutes to find West Village, the paper that he had been given had included a picture, thankfully he had recieved it. The Veronica had been, odd. Erthe and Veronica, both of the same species and both were very odd specimens. Both seemed, full of themselves. Impatient, brash, and somewhat rude. That species was capable of great evil, and yet. At the same time, that species was capable of great good as well. He would have to find what planet that they came from, and he would have to learn as much as he could about them. With a sigh of thought, he then realized that he had arrived within the village.

Looking around, his cape slowly flowing behind his back. The frog wondered where this Plum fellow was. He was slightly confused, the entire situation seemed rushed and hurried. The Veronica hadn't even told him what to do once he caught this Plum Namekians. Perhaps she merely wanted him to be taken somewhere? Or did she want him... Killed? He then realized that perhaps he had rushed into this whole situation. He clutched his blade tightly, he would not kill the Namekian, perhaps he could simply lock him up and take him back to the Namekian village he had been at before? Yes, that would do. Those Namekians seemed very intelligent, they would certainly be able to contact the Veronica.

He walked around the village, the picture on his mind, frozen in his thoughts. Wandering around, the young frog located a nearby Namekian, showing him the picture. The Namekian looked at it for a few seconds, then he nodded and pointed at a nearby Namekian. The frog looked at his profile and realized he was indeed this Plum he was looking for, a weird smile came over his face. It had been so easy to locate the Namekian, the Veronica was indeed weaker than he had expected if she couldn't even locate a single murderer. What an odd species, the frog drew his sword, putting a thick layer of ki energy over it.

Then he quickly confronted the Namekian, standing before him he raised his blade at his face and said to him. "Halt vile villain! I am the mighty Furoggu and I shalt defeat you and send you back to where thou belong!" The Namekian stared at him, his eyes slowly lowering towards the frog. The Namekian uttered a laugh, looking at the sword and the frog he said back, "You really think i'm going to let a pathetic little beast like you take me back? You HAVE to be joking me. Veronica and the Namek Corporation just keep getting wierder and wierder. Well little toad, I guess I better stomp the floor with you."

The Namekian went for a punch, but the frog was far faster than the Namekian had expected, catching the hand, the frog flipped the Namekian over his hand, slamming him into the ground, where he applied pressure to the wrist, but the Namekian flipped over, kicking up at the frog, but he couldn't get hit. He knew that this Namekian had some strength in his step. He could defeat the frog with a well placed attack. The frog caught the kick, using the momentum to throw the Namekian near a building. By now the streets had cleared, people trying to get out of the way of the fighting.

The Namekian smacked into the wall, as the frog stood up. He brushed himself off, smiling slightly. He started to walk towards the Namekian, when suddenly he felt the insane burning sensation in his shoulder. As blood began to pour he looked at the wounds where the finger beam had pierced him. It was close to his heart, if it had been any lower... The frog charged the Namekian, kicking him in the face and knocking him out.

The frog held the wound, the sky going blurry as he dazed around. Pain coursed through him. Then suddenly everything went black. The frog fell onto the ground, and that was the last thing he remembered.

When he awoke, he was in a hospital, there was a single Namekian standing there, looking over him with a smile. The frog croaked out, "How long was I asleep?" The Namekian pondered this for a few minutes before saying, "About a week, you did a good job with that Plum villain. Veronica already came and picked him up, she even left a small reward for you and all the hard work you did." The frog looked over at the small bag of money, laughing at the Namekian's sarcasm. Suddenly the elder's voice flashed through his head.

"Young boy, you have learned an important lesson, the lesson of Noblity, you did a good deed for people that may not have deserved it. This was an important lesson my young boy, you are growing with each and every quest. Good luck to you and may you keep doing well."

With a nod, the frog rested back. Wanting a little while longer to relax.

Chapter 3: Leaving the Hospital, (And this retarded fail RP)

The frog stepped from the hospital, his cloak billowing behind his back. Slowly he heaved a great breath of air, eager to be done with the place. The entire time spent in the hospital, he had done nothing but read and think and converse with his elder about the meanings of life. But now he was finished, and quite frankly. Quite done with the place, not that sitting wasn't fun. But the whole entire Plum thing had seemed, rushed and hurried. He had beaten him so fast. Sighing softly, the frog hopped from the village. Eager to re-adjust his body into it's former glory. In the hospital, the Namekians had gauged his "power level". A number which measured the amount of strength you possesed, it was an interesting concept and the frog liked it. He had taken a self-gauging power level device with him. Currently it was 7,110. He wondered how high that really was, was that pretty intense? He had remembered hearing from the Namekian that Plum's power level was about 6,000. Which meant that he was higher than the Namekian, however. He felt as if there was always room for improvement.

He would have to start some serious training. Slowly he hopped down the countryside of the planet, it had really grown on him. This Namek, as he had learned that was the name of it. Namek, what an interesting planet. It suited him, with the water and the green. It kept him from feeling homesick. Oh to be back home again, to be with his brothers and sisters and laugh and cheer and spar. It had been so long since he had talked to one, save the Elder of course, but the old gentleman was his spiritual guide and could only act as such, there was no talk of cheet and celebration between them. The frog chuckled as he hopped, one hand resting on the handle of his blade. Keeping an eye on the skies, suddenly he floated up into the air. Flying through the air, feeling the wind at his face and the heat of the sun, he felt giddy and lightweight. Oh, to be un-bound by the chains of knight-hood! To be free to roam the world and do whatever he pleased! That would be the life, and yet. He was greatly content, if he had the choice. He would have chosen his current path, just as he had done so as a Frogling.

Furoggu continued to fly until he had reached his special little hidey-hole. Crawling under his rock, the familiar small cess-pool greeted him. Taking his clothes and armor off he set them aside, falling aback into the water. Floating there with a deep sigh of content. He felt great, rejuvinated. To go from the sour grumpy frog to the happy free frog, that was how it should be. He felt his body rocking deep into sleep, with a smile and a wink to the sky. The frog fell asleep, eager to return to his dreams of Grandmaster-hood. One day he would get there, and when he did. He would be the greatest Grandmaster to ever live. Froglings everywhere would look up to him as their leader. One day, but not yet...

No, not yet...
