Description: Going through one village, an elder stops you to speak with you. It seems to the far West that there is an island that is completely uninhabited. Legend states that many ancient structures of Namek's distance past are there along with many dangers as well. It is covered in thick jungle across the massive expanse of the island and Guru has forbidden any Namekian to enter into the great unknown. You being a warrior not completely under Guru nor under his power to prevent you, he pleads through his curiosity for you to explore. What will you find in the great unknown?

I'd like to have this quest graded and decided for an alligment change! Please and thanks! :D

Chapter 1: Meeting the Guru

The frog had heard legends of him, being on the planet for as long as he had, of course there were whispers. But even though he was not a native Namekian and he had not been on Namek a life-time. The honor he felt at being able to meet the Guru was limitless, the eldest Namekian. The father of them all, the frog had cleaned his clothes and cape, polished his blade and washed his body particularily well. He let himself get coated in the natural slime he needed to survive before dressing himself, he stood up and stared at the distance. Placing his foot on a rock, he examined himself for the level of regalness he was bringing to the table. Nodding, quite pleased with himself. The frog began to bound at a fast speed towards the temple.. It lay ontop of one of the highest mountains of the planet, where the Guru sat there, his abilities to sense ki were limitless. His guardians were two Namekians named Flute and Locke, both had tremendous power.

He slowed pace, suddenly feeling quite nervous. The Guru had requested him personally. Having heard of his feats to the people of Namek. But the frog was giddy and had butterflies at the thought of meeting this Namekian, his throat sac began to puff at a ridiculous speed, but he pressed on. Until soon the temple was in sight, the frog neared it. Looking up, deciding to take as much time as he possibly could. He took his sword from his side and tied it to his back, tying his cape up so it wouldn't flap in the wind. He grasped onto the rocks and slowly began to climb.

He had told himself he wanted to train himself, and besides he wasn't eager about meeting such an important fellow, so why not work out a little while getting a few more minutes of thought? The frog continued to climb, his natural slime gave him an amazing grip, he wouldn't be falling anytime soon. With each bound he got higher, his sense of nervousnesses being randomly replaced by excitement. He was going to meet the Guru, the legend himself. He wondered what the old fellow would think of him, hopefully good thoughts. He did not want to be hated by the Guru. But he had no worries, the Guru was a kind fellow or so he had heard, he would be commended for his good deeds.

But he had spent too much time thinking and not enough time slowing down so he would take longer, he had reached the top. The frog gulped once, his throat sac continuing to puff violently. When he heard the voice of a very old man say, "Come in dear boy, come in."

Chapter 2: Damn he's a big ol' guy!

The frog's throat continued to puff violently as he stepped into the temple, light spread all across of it. Illuminating the glass sculptures and making the place appear mystical. The frog continued to look around, resting his hand on the statues that decorated the place. Each one had a great amount of beauty, some of them were warriors. Others had a more scholarly look to them. The frog looked at each of them, before suddenly words whispered from the shadows, awakening him from his hypnotic spell, "Beautiful aren't they? Each one a key figure in Namek's history, either for defending us from a serious threat or advancing our race through knowledge. Each one had earned the right to be in the temple. Come closer my dear boy, I am Guru. Father of Namek and her most amazing Namekians. I have heard of you, and yet. I know nothing of your name dear boy." The frog struggled to peer through the only shadowy spot of the temple, but when the figure came into focus. It was all the frog could do to prevent his mouth from falling agape.

The Guru was huge, and by huge he meant HUGE! Large and bulbous, old and wrinkly. No wonder he was the father of all Nameks, as far as Furoggu was concerned he was the father of all time. However he did not say this, instead he said."My name is Furoggu, Guru sir. I come from a planet very far away in the universe. I was teleported by our Elder, a lot like you are Guru, he is the father of all Frogs. I heard that you summoned me sir, may I ask why sir?" He emphasized on being polite, for standing around Guru were Flute and Locke, both of them appearing strong and mystical. For good reasons, the frog knew that any disrespect would be met with serious punishment. And the Frog knew he wasn't strong enough to hold off Flute or Locke (for that matter) in any fight.

The Guru continued to look down at him, a low chuckle bellowing from him, rocking his body with fleshy seismic earthquakes with every noise. The frog tried his best to stay on the ground, only faking a trip after stubbing his toe on the statue. Flute and Locke looked at one each other briefly, both of them (despite their great training) unable to supress a quiet giggle. They knew exactly what the Frog was going through, they had done so themselves a long time ago. The Guru stopped chuckling and wiping his eye he said, "Oh dear, do not worry. I know I am quite a sight to look at, you are not the first alien to see me dear Frog. Flute and Locke are my guardians, they will not punish you for my inconviences. Now, you are a very interesting person, you are indeed worthy of the information I am about to give you."

The frog awaited his words, his hand resting on his blade handle while he regained his posture, then the Guru finished. "Our Namekian scientists have discovered a rare ruin on a un-inhabited island of the planet. There are strange symbols on all the walls and the architecture is unknown to us. None of our warriors dare risk going there, rumors of ghosts and evil presences are quite... Interesting... Of course Flute and Locke would go, but I am a needy soul and I enjoy their company. And one won't go without the other. So what do you say? I have heard of your exploits. You are indeed worthy of such an expedition. Of course it would just be you, I don't want to risk any of my other warriors or scientists in the caves."

The frog looked at the Guru, his eyes filling with joy. For two reasons, for one he would be going into a dark place (because of course he would say yes, he would have to be mad to not accept it.) And two, the Guru himself was telling the Frog he was worthy. This was a great achivement for the young Frog. There was a whisper in his head, as the Elder Frog said to him, "Dear boy, this is great. But be ever wary, this will your most dangerous mission yet." Meanwhile, the Frog nodded and said to the Guru, "Yes sir! I will do this, and I will do it with the utmost pride and joy. I will not fail you Guru, I will find out what is down there."

The Guru nodded and smiled and then grabbed a backpack, throwing it to the Frog he said quickly. "Everything you need for at least two weeks of survival is in that bag, I wish we could spare more, but not all of the Namekians are quite impressed with your feats yet, and I am not the sole decision maker." The Frog nodded, he understood completely. He stood up in attention, head held high as he said. "I will prove myself to you and the other Namekians." Then with that, he turned and walked out.

The greatest adventure was about to begin...

Chapter 3: Finding the old Ruins

But as the frog stepped out, the Guru called "Wait boy, you do not know where the ruins are I will show you!" The Frog nodded and slapped his head, cursing his foolishness. He turned and stepped back into the temple, approaching the Guru's chair. The Guru looked at him and said softly, "Come closer boy, allow me to hold my hand upon your head." The Frog gulped slighty and stepped closer, there was a little bit of fear in him. But as the Guru placed his mighty hand upon the Frog's head. He grew calmer, and then there was a sudden buzzing that blazed through the frog's mind, and suddenly he could see the temple and where it was. The Frog felt dizzy, holding his head and stumbling around groggily. The Guru laughed slightly and said, "Do not worry, it always happens the first few times. Isn't that right my sons?" Flute and Locke, their faces not showing any emotion, said in deep voiced unison "Yes master Guru!" The Guru then let out a low cough, after hacking for a few seconds he composed himself and finished, "But anyway, now you should know exactly how to get to the ruins."

And the Guru was right, the Frog knew exactly how and where to go. The island was north, far far north. He would probably be flying for quite a few hours, but who cared? What an adventure to be had! The Frog thanked the Guru and his students and stepped out. Looking over the mountain, even though it was insanely high he could see nothing of the ruins. The frog slowly hovered into the air, the energy coursing through his body making a small buzzing noise. He went higher and higher into the sky until he saw the peak of the island, but he was close to space. Thankfully his special lungs kept him from dying. He lowered himself down, using his froggy brain to calculate that he had about seven hours of fly-time.

But he had better get started now...

Chapter 4: A quick stop for some stuffz.

The Frog had been flying for two hours, stopping only to go to the bathroom or to take a quick breather and recharge his energy. Oh and he had to stop and eat too, it was pretty hard flying for a prolonged time, it made a Frog hungry. But as he flew over a tiny Namekian village, he stopped. He wanted to go ahead and get a few more things, he had plenty of zeni. Stopping by the general store, the frog stepped inside. Looking around with wonder at all the things on the shelves. Finally grabbing some of what he needed, he was just about to pay for it all when suddenly something caught his eye.

A metallic being in the background, hiding in a less lit part of the room, the Frog hopped over to him, his throat puffing slowly as he contemplated what this metallic thing was, it certainly was interesting looking. The Frog looked at the shop-keeper and asked him, "Excuse me sir, but may I ask what this device is and what it is used for?" The shop-keeper squinted, his eyes covered by small spectacles. But then he said, "Oh that's Roobo, he was designed a long time ago as a battle droid. He's for sale now, he's a little rusty and could use some fixing up. The frog looked at this Roobo, his eyes staring deep at it.

Roobo:

Something clicked within him, and the next thing he knew he had slapped down the zeni on the table, buying grappiling hooks, extra food and water, flint for starting fires and many other survival goods, and of course he had bought this Roobo. The shopkeeper noted that the Frog was an alien so he said to him, "Hey sonny, if you want to get that droid checked out. Ol' Jebediah knows a thing or two about them, he lives in this town as a matter of fact. Three doors down to the left, i'm sure he'll be able to help you." The Frog thanked him for this knowledge and took his stuff, throwing it into the pack, it took him several seconds, but finally he had managed to get everything. It was hard to hold the droid, hopefully the inventor guy he was going to see would be able to help him.

He arrived at the door, setting the droid down he knocked three times. The sound reverberating through the door. There was a shuffling of feet from the inside, until a very old Namekian opened the door, the frog looked at him and smiled and said, "Excuse me sir, but I was told you knew how to repair droids? Can you repair mine for me and start him up? I'd very much like to take him on as a companion and to do so I would need someone to repair him, do you think you could help me out?"

The old Namekian looked at the droid, his wizened old eyes staring into it's very soul and then he said softly, "Yea I can fix it, bring it on in..."

Chapter 5: A little set-back

It had been countless days, and while the Frog was a little dissapointed in the set-back. His natural connection to the battle droid kept him patient. He had flown back to Guru and explained the entire situation, the Guru had an unusal twinkle in his eye, but he nodded and told the Frog too take as much time as he needed. So the Frog had decided to learn a bit about his new companion, learning the basic functions of his droid. But as the days passed on, and the droid was finally completed. There was one more prime element that the droid needed to function, coal. But one coal piece would last the droid a lifetime. However, coal wasn't exactly an easily found element on the planet.

The old Namekian taught him all about coal deposits, the entire process of extracting it would be really hard to accomplish. But with the knowledge on his mind, the frog prepared to go and get some. He touched the droid's metallic body saying to it as he left, "Something about you is interesting, I feel as if you are part of me somehow. I wish I could explain it." He nodded and then walked out. His sword smacked against his side as he hopped towards the mines, he held it on the hilt. His throat puffed slowly as he hopped, his mind contemplating all the things he had done over the past few days.

But as he contemplated and hopped, able to multi-task with the best of them. He arrived at the spot where the mines were located. Hiding behind a rock, the coal worms that surrounded the mines were heavy in the area. Lucky the Frog knew how to fly, he drew his sword softly, the blade making the familar metallic shinking as it was released from the scabbard. The worms heard vibrations in the soil, that's how they fed. The Frog flew up into the air, let's see him make any vibrations now. He covered his blade with a thick layer of green ki energy. Then honing the blade so that it was sharp.

Gently he floated down, the worms all over the place. It was quite a disgusting sight. Suddenly the frog entered one of the mines, having increased his speed. His blade glowed softly and he floated through the cave carefully. His eyes focused and alert as his throat puffed slowly and methodically. He continued to float, remembering the image of the deposits he was looking for, he also knew that the moment he extracted the coal, he would be making some serious vibrations.

So this would have to be carefully executed...

[My computer kept screwing up my post, so i'm skipping ahead to where I have already gotten the coal.]

Chapter 6: Reviving Roobo

The old man placed the coal in the slot, wiping his face and hands off with a towel he nodded to himself "Heh, it's finally done." Then he looked at the Frog with a small grin and said, "Boy, I ain't never done a finer job on any droid in my whole life. You should consider yourself lucky, this droid will be around to watch your back for a long time to come." Then with a nod, the old Namekian flipped the switch on. At first there was nothing, but then suddenly the droid began to beep and come to life. The Frog stared with wide open eyes, but then suddenly the droid's eyes flashed open and it said in a highly metallic robotic voice, "Roobo Unit #32123432 is operative. Observing surroundings for master." The droid looked around, settling in his eyes at the Namekian it asked, "Are you my master?" The Namekian shook his head and pointed his thumb at the frog. The droid turned and looked at the frog and asked it, "Are you my master?" The Frog was shocked, he had no exact idea what to say so he merely croaked out "Yes."

The droid whirred and beeped and nodded, saying "You are now my master forever and ever, I live to serve you. What is your name?" The frog managed to get out, "My name is Furoggu." The droid whirred once more and then said, "Data Log acquired, Master Furoggu. My prime directive is to serve. How can I serve you?" The Frog looked at him, this droid was a slave. Someday he would learn to free his mind. But for now, he wanted to learn about this droid. He wanted to teach it about life and all the things that were good. And for now he knew the only way he could do so was by telling the droid. "You are going to help me seek out an old ruins. There we will find great treasure, I need a bodyguard as good as you Roobo."

The droid stood motionless, beeping until it said, "Yes. I will help you find these ruins. I am your servant Master Furoggu, whatever you say I will obey." The Frog nodded in agreeance. Hating that the droid felt that way, but glad to have the companionship. He told the droid, "However we will stay in this town one more night, then we will begin our journey, how does that sound?" The droid beeped and whizzed and said, "Sounds good master Furoggu."

Chapter 7: Teaching Roobo a few things.

The frog had awoken, packed and readied himself. The droid didn't need much, only to turn himself on. But as they walked out into the fields, the frog looked at the droid and asked, "Roobo my friend? You know how to fight right?" The Robot looked at him, his body was clanking and whirring. The frog questioned his skills, he was an older robot after all. Suddenly the droid disappeared from sight, and the frog had taken the small amount of time he had to draw his blade, turning as the droid came behind him striking out. He caught the blow on the blade, spinning it around and holding his breath. The robot's body seemed to crank, and suddenly it's metal plates bulged large. The robot then slowly whirred loudly, as puffs of smoke came from the pipe in his back. He dashed forwards at incredible speeds, the frog did all he could to deflect. But the droid was far more powerful than he had originally assumed.

As they moved about at lightning fast speeds, appearing in one spot for a few seconds before suddenly appearing in a different spot. The wind picked up heavily, the droid's body was heavy. The wind having no effect on him, but for the smaller frog. He was taken off balance, the droid got in close, striking down. As the frog hurtled towards the earth, he hit. Creating a small crater. The frog coughed with light pain, stepping from the crater and brushing himself off. He suddenly transformed, becoming the muscley mass that was his second super form.

With his body now pumped up to more maxiumum levels. The transformed frog looked at the robot, taking the blade in both hands, he held it aloft at a pointed angle. Suddenly slicing the air as a wicked ki blast erupted from it. The powerful ki blast was powerful enough to go through most metals, he didn't have that kind of power unless he was in this state. But as the blast went towards the robot, he suddenly vanished. Appearing in a different spot. Behind the frog, but his awareness had pumped up too and he followed the droid's movements.

With a small smile of satisfaction, the frog nodded and said to the robot, "Heh, your good, but i'm better!" and dashed forwards...

Chapter 8: The fight continues

As he dashed, the frog struck out the sword, it met the metal of the robot. Causing sparks to fly through the air. In his new transformed state the Frog was no pushover. The robot started to go back a little, falling under the frog's strength. But then the robot kicked dust into the air, causing the Frog to go off balance. As the frog rubbed his face, the droid saw his chance to attack. He kicked up, knocking the frog off his equillibrium. Even in his full power form, it really hurt. As the Frog stumbled around trying to regain his composure. The robot saw the opportunity to fire eye lasers. As the beams penetrated the Frog's shoulder. He felt a stabbing pain, ignoring this. He continued to fight, ignoring the pain and the blood as it gushed. The Frog grinned and took his sword in his one hand, he raised it into the air, using it as a distracting point.

The Frog then suddenly sliced down, cutting a small piece of the droid's metal off of his face. While barely noticable, the droid noticed it and there was more whizzing and beeping. The droid looked at the Frog and asked, "Excuse me master Furoggu, but can we move this fight to a new location? I do not wish to harm any townspeople." The Frog smiled and nodded, finally a good fight was to be had! He followed the droid as they were led to an empty field. The droid turned and stood motionless. The frog knew better than this though and got ready for an attack. The wound in his shoulder already healing fast thanks to the natural healing coat of his body.

Suddenly the droid dashed forwards, but this time the Frog was expecting it and was able to dodge. His vitality and resillience were holding strong. But he felt the small bits of fatigue racking his body. It had been quite awhile since the frog had; had any R&R. He was going to have to take some serious time off for himself soon. The Frog got away from the droid's constant attacking. He pointed his finger at the robot and fired a small beam of ki, it smacked into the droid's shoulder and knocked him off balance. Laughing the Frog smiled at him and said, "Oh dear Roobo, it seems you have pitiful balance. But pity not! Come at me thy metallic clanker!"

Chapter 9: Continuing.

The droid did indeed come at him, his metallic body slamming into the Frog. He was pushed back, gripping his blade tightly. The robot was indeed a great fighter, the Frog had greatly underestimated his so loyal companion. Oh how great he was, so loyal without the worries of a friend with emotions. They clashed, going back and forth for several seconds. Then the Frog broke away, raising his hand a small green ki blast erupted from it. The blast smacked into the robot singing his metal. He scraped the pieces of burnt gold paint off and looked at the frog, his face showed no emotions. It was hard to tell what he was planning, it kept the frog on his toes. Just the way he liked it, he gripped the sword tight, his transformed state's muscles bulged in his powerful new figure. His cape billowed in the breeze, suddenly the Frog vanished from sight. Appearing in front of the robot he struck up with his sword, using the hilt combined with his own powerful hand. The robot went into the air, but the effort strained the Frog. As the robot hit the ground, the frog took the few seconds he had to heave and relax his muscles.

The droid stood back up, raising his hand. Suddenly a powerful metallic tube appeared from it. It was sparkling with energy. The Frog's eyes opened wide as he got ready for the attack. But then the droid raised his hand and the bolt fired high into the air. The Frog watched it as it went into the air, hovered and then suddenly exploded. The shrapnel went all over the place, causing small craters wherever it landed, the robot covered his head with his arms. But the Frog didn't have hard metal with which to defend himself. The Frog noticed a ditch nearby, bounding towards it he hopped into it. Covering himself up as well as he good, blasts just smacked into the ground all over the place. The Frog cowered there for several seconds, being hit by dust and debri. Suddenly it was all over. The frog bound out from the hole, naturally the robot was gone. Hiding getting ready for another attack.

Furoggu stared around, gripping his blade tightly. Getting ready for the next attack...
