Android X rose his head slightly, his eyes cracking open just a small hair and peering outward; through the dimly lit air of the small, dank room. The android had been prisoner in this icy-cold hell for months now... and he was growing awfully tired of sitting around. His leg muscles, especially his thighs, had grown atrophy from the lack of use; though the android had attempted to remain physically active inside his small holding chamber.. It wasn't enough however, and the effects had begun to take their toll on the android's physical strength, as well as his mental stability. The android had been thrown into this locked room for violating a very, unholy-matrimony of sorts between the Empress and her... Emperor. Android X had only just arrived on the snowy-planet when he was captured and forced into captivity within these large, frozen walls. And here he had remained... for months.. The only way the android was able to keep himself sane, was by making small tic marks in the side of a large platform that took up the middle of the chamber. When he had first awoken in this place; a large beast sat on this platform and had taunted the android; preaching of his demise that was surely soon to come.. Android X was more depressed and disappointed than ever; that it had not come... that anyone... no one... had come. For several days after his warning from the large creature; the android sat in contemplation about how to react to the intrusion of this... Executioner. He thought long and hard about the moves he might make and the moves that his Euthanasia-ee might make as well. Android X rolled thoughts and scenarios round and round in his skull like a smooth marble on a piece of clean, shiny-glass. He watched as the marble rolled, effortlessly, almost picking up speed as it went, back and forth. He saw how it met no resistance against anything and was able to happily pass through air, time and space, with out being accosted or confronted. The android envied the marble in his mind...wishing he too, could experience this sort of freedom.. this sort of peace. Ever since his first encounter with Violence; during his trip to Planet Vegeta, the android had disliked the feeling. He had disliked the taste of hatred in his mouth, and the taste of pain, digging at his throat. Android X longed for the mellow, relaxing, peaceful days; when everything was calm, and friendly. Since his beginning however, these good ole' days had been few and far between.. maybe just few; thought the android, unable to recall the last time he had a day without some sort of stress, or confrontation. A long, low sigh; escaped the android's lips, who had parted in loss of effort to keep it all bottled inside. Android X starred forward, at the large, heavy-door that made up the front wall of his cold, lonely-chamber. There was nothing he could do about his current situation... nothing he had not done already... all he could do... was wait. Wait and wait and wait and wait.... And wait some mo... Suddenly, his repeating thoughts were interrupted as the giant door began to howl out in acknowledgment of the android's frustrations. The android had not seen a single soul in at least two long months, and this was just based off the small tic marks he had carved into the side of the platform with his raw, throbbing finger-tip. Who knows how long it had really been.. without a clear view of the sky, and the sun for that matter; how could one know where one day ended and the next began. How could one even know when was day and when was night. The android assured himself this was a difficult task for someone in his position. Especially on this Frost Planet where the sky was almost in a permanent state of illumination, due to the high level of precipitation in the air and the bright white snow and ice that covered the terrain. ...The door, to the small chamber, was opening now. The android's door.... to the android's chamber... was opening... Someone... was coming....in. These thoughts impacted into the weakened core of Android X and he remembered the warnings of the giant creature from before, telling him of his impending and inevitable doom. This was it, thought the android's gut; tightening up in a clenched manner and sending impulses through the rest of his torso and pelvis regions. As his muscles began to follow suit and engage in alertness and readiness; the android's eyes and breathing remained calm, and perceptive. The giant door, which was slightly encrusted in icicles due to it's lack of opening and closing; opened slowly. At first the android wondered if the being attempting to come in, would even be able to push the door hard enough to break this frosty-seal that had formed at the gaps between the door and it's frame. But, as giant shards of ice began to splinter away and rain down against the floor of the small chamber; the android's curiosity was laid to rest.. Android X's now awakening; though extremely fatigued abdominal muscles, contracted, helping to pull him from his laying position, up to a sitting one. There, the android tightened his fists quickly, slamming them down ward into the tops of his thigh muscles. He moved his fists up and down the length of his tights, between his knees and his hips, working his way across the tops and along the inner and outer sides of his leg's comatose tissues. As the android's fists worked his upper-legs, the balls and heels of his feet worked in not-so-perfect harmony to attempt to wake the bottom portions of the limbs. His heels rocked forward and the balls of his feet contacted with the floor. Once they touched, they rolled back ward from where they had come, pushing the energy back to the heels. As this motion continued, the android wiggled his toes, engaging all the necessary muscles and tendons to begin to stretch and coax his legs back into reality. The absolutely devastating, cold air of the chamber was more than a formidable foe for the android to battle. And now, slowly but surely, he was beginning to take the match; as the blood in legs began to flow and his numb limbs, began to tingle and grow warmer. The sounds of ice smashing against the hard floor of the androids small-chamber teased his ears; which had been neglected for the odd number of months he had been in the room. He had heard nothing... in all this time, nothing but the sound of his own, restless-mind. The android laughed slightly on the inside, thinking his never-quieting head was more than enough chatter for anyone who longed to hear. As the door passed the obstruction of the built-up ice blockade; it was forced suddenly, with maximum effort of it's cold hinges, into the side-wall of the room. An intense noise rung out through the entire body of the android, his ears beyond the ability to process sound, and his mind in a state of agony at the devilish-ringing that plagued his innards. Android X cringed and gritted his teeth in response to this sudden, unwanted disturbance of his auditory senses and personal privacy. Who was this asshole coming in here in such a brutish manner, thought the android.. ..His question was quickly answered as the same, massive creature from before, stepped forward from the darkness of the hall way and into the android's room. It had been so long since the android had seen this creature, that he had long since forgotten just how big he was.. Now, the android's memory was refreshed, and any previously existing thoughts he may have had about being able to take the creature on; found themselves scurrying from his mind, and clawing at the walls of the chamber in an attempt to climb up and escape. The android's legs had better be ready, he thought as he dug the palms of his hands into the tops of his knee-caps and clenched tightly, engaging his core and pushing his head forward. The combined efforts successfully propelled the android upward to his feet, and he instantly lost balance; stumbling straight toward the giant mammoth in the door way. Android X cringed as he stumbled forward, unable to regain his balance; at the thought of his immediate end at the large hands of this creature. Here he had sat, for months on end, trying to think of how he would make his amazing escape and over come any attempts to thwart his efforts or halt his forward motion from the confines of this shit hole.. ...And now, all his preparation would be for nothing, as this creature would surely crush him with ease in the android's vulnerable; unbalanced state of progression toward the beast's clutches. The android's worried-eyes rose, as he approached hastily toward the giant, his arms flailing wildly in front of him and out to the sides, weaving through the air as if trying to catch hold of some invisible life-line. There was however, no life-line as as the android moved within feet of the standing creature in the door way; he swallowed hard, thinking it may be the last opportunity to do so. TRACTION! thought the android's advanced circuitry, thrusting the electrical impulse into his mind and activating his senses instantly. The signals rushed through the android's entire body, streaming from his neck, to his chest, down through his pelvis into his legs, and down still until it finally reached the ball of his left foot; who had found... traction. With the reassurance from his brain, the android's left foot took action; immediately tightening. The force of his flex was so intense that the android's toes cracked and his ligaments popped, sending shooting pain tearing through his foot and up his leg. Android X used the added adrenaline to pave the way for the new opportunity, as he emitted a deafening Bark from within. The noise was aimed from the android's mouth, up ward toward the massive creature in his path, hoping that it would not only land on the target, but penetrate into it's very center. As the split-second of this entire action elapsed; the android bent and then launched off his sturdy left leg; shoving his arms forward past either sides of his head and diving. The bark from the android hit it's mark; with startling accuracy... and consequences. The giant took a huge step back ward in shock from the effectiveness of the noise; his leg's parting. It was just the hole the android needed, as his powerful-dive carried him with ballerina-like grace and gymnast-like form, through the space between the creature's legs. Android X tucked his head, and favored his right shoulder, as he allowed his arms to absorb the impact against the ground and roll him across his shoulder and upper back, preforming a picture-perfect Kap Napup and propelling him with a somersault-like motion, back to his feet. In the next second, the android was one-hundred feet down the cold, long hall way. His legs and lungs burning in effort to keep up with the speed and determination of his mind, to draw in more oxygen and move faster. The android didn't look back, knowing that if he did, he would surely see the large creature gaining on him and it would only discourage his new found-motivation. He kept his eyes on the prize, as he envisioned the open, cool-air of the out side world. The snow covered ground called to him, begging him to come rushing out from the terrible, frozen-walls of this ice-fortress and into it's soft, white, welcoming-arms. Android X wasted no time trying to figure out which direction he should, or was going. He angled his forehead down ward slightly, trying to improve the aerodynamics of his body, in order to achieve maximum forward propulsion. As planned, the android's already blinding speed; increased, and he flew through the halls like the Roadrunner on Crystal Meth, with a mouth-ful of Adrenochrome! There was no slowing down, thought the android briefly, as he tore through the halls at beyond lightning-speeds. The tremendous effort he was putting forth, was taking a heavy-toll on his fatigued muscles and dulled senses; but he had to escape... there was no other choice. He had to get out of here, one way or another; thought Android X, even if it meant killing some poor, innocent-fuck who happened to wander into one of these long hall ways as he was tearing down it at full-speed. There was no other options at this point, no other opportunity. This WAS his chance, and he was taking it. Suddenly the android's mind flashed and sparkled, causing a plethora of brain-juice and blood to surge through the inside of his skull. A memory flashed against the back sides of the android's eye balls, causing the image to be projected in his sight for a split moment and triggering a sudden reaction.. stop! Android X used his Ki Energy to stop himself on an area smaller than a dime. His energy exploded forward from within his body and the force of the power against his forward momentum caused the two to cancel one another out; even tipping the android back ward slightly as his new-found objective trumped his old one.. The android turned his head, stepping to the left, and looked at a beautifully-carved, expensive, wooden door... There was no mistaking it, though the android, as he bust into the room without time or care for niceties or politeness. The android rushed into the room quickly... his arms trailing behind his torso slightly as he pushed himself to move forward. His right arm, and then his left, almost simultaneously, were grabbed by large, strong-hands. The android's head turned slightly to look over his shoulder, as his feet continued to run forward.. As the android saw a similar-looking creature's face, he realized this one was like the rest... and with his hands tightening their grip around the android's arms; probably had the same intentions as well.. to capture him. Android X's feet flew up in the air, his legs kicking wildly as they continued to try and run; his forward-momentum had met an abrupt-halt and his body whipped up ward into the air and then came slamming back to the ground with a hard thud. The creature kept it's tight grasp on the android's arms, holding him above his wrists, beneath his elbows.. As Android X slammed into the ground, his eyes sprung open from the force and he exhaled with strong out ward movement. His eyes shot forward at the occupants of the room, which he suddenly realized, were all facing him in a manner as though to say, they had expected his arrival. In combination of the aggressor, holding the android's arms, he validated this notion as his eyes searched frantically through the many amused, yet evil-looking faces of the bone-armored creatures. "The Emperor has ordered your immediate, execution." The android's heart-sank as the immediate part of the sentence rung through his ears.. His eyes darted through the many motionless creatures in the room, wondering who would be the one to make their move on him. He saw no movement however, and he breathed slowly, allowing his eyes to become unfocused, in order to better detect any motion throughout his forward and peripheral vision. One thing the android had not seen in the room... the only thing he had been looking for; was Jilseponie. The beautiful woman would have stood out like a beautiful, bright rose, amongst these dull, disgusting-weeds. At least the android didn't have to worry about her getting hurt in the cross-fire, when the shit finally went down in here. Android X continued to watch, hazy-eyed for signs of movement, wondering who the brave-soul was going to be that would make the first move. No one did, and the android grew restless, still lying on his back, peering out ward at these pink-legged demons. The voice spoke again, and android's eyes caught the source's lips moving instantly as the sound began to come out.. "Your execution...however, will not be carried out by us." Android X took a deep breath in ward and swallowed, allowing his tense abdominal muscles to relax slightly at the new news. "You will accompany us... on a mission..." said the creature, whom the android assumed must be the leader of this little bunch; since he was the only one speaking. The android heard the words accompany and mission, amongst the creature's incessant babble and began to tune out the brute's voice.. "YOUR EXECUTION!...." shouted the voice, sensing the android's disinterest. ".....Will come at the hands of an Alien with Cyrokinesis-Powers..." said the voice, slowly returning to it's previous volume. "Your Executioner, has gained a nickname among our group; who's spines have felt shivers due to news of this Alien's cold, brutal-slayings of many of our Elite-Forces..." "We call him...Jackk the Chiller!"....... The android sighed softly at the name and closed his eyes. His escape... was going to have to wait a while... Android X was bound sufficiently and transported to a holding-chamber; much like the one he had just come from. This one however, had a window to the out side world; where the android spent a couple days, sitting quietly, in his restraints and watched with great pleasure, as the snow fell. His eyes marveled at the sights he had no been able to witness for so long, and his senses cheered in joy as ice, cold gusts of frigged-wind ripped into his small room and tore at his exposed skin. The android smiled softly, his mind slowing all thoughts, and eventually pushing them away... The android inhaled and exhaled... sitting, watching, breathing... He had longed for this feeling, this sensation; and he had thought surely that he would never experience it again before his death. The android closed his eyes and drew a long, chilly-breath in through his nostrils; freshening his entire head and upper torso. As he sat in his small, snow covered, element-exposed cell; awaiting the Elite-Squad's arrival to take the android on their mission, he realized. He had found it again... ..peace. WC: 3,067/2,500 |
