"....So lets get a move on it ....Snuffles....” said the familiar stranger to Android X.

Indeed, thought the android... it was time, to stop fucking around...

Android X angled his head up ward toward the ceiling above him, which contained the open-hanging trap door that this kind stranger had been nice-enough to open for him. In the next instant, the android's legs had flexed and relaxed, as he had launched off the ground and propelled up ward into the air with his Flying Technique.

The android zipped straight through the opening in the ceiling and smashed his way through the suddenly... Burning HOT air of the Second Level!
Android X ripped all the way up through the Second Level room until he came to the ceiling of the Boiling hot box. As he made it to this point, the android stopped himself and turned his head down ward to gaze upon the amazing wonder.. that was the Second Level of the Shit-hole Tower.
...There, below the android... was a giant room filled with... NOTHING!!!!
The Second Level of the Tower, was Completely Empty!!! A Giant Box room.. with Absolutely... Nothing in it!, Except for a Shit ton of Fire and Smoke. Red and yellow flashes, covered the walls and the android's eyes shimmered in the fire-light. The temperatures were almost unbearable, and had it not been for the android's previous-training mission on Planet Vegeta, he would not have been able to stand the incredible heat. Suddenly.. Android X's leather jacket caught fire! and he realized this room was no joke in terms of the amount of heat it possessed and the fatal out come that faced not only him self, but his traveling companion if they remained on this Level for too long. It made sense now to the android, why no one had ever bother to try to come for this bogus-ass treasure of no Value, at the top of this bogus-ass Tower. He under stood perfectly, now, why these people he had met, would want to come here. Of course! thought the android... to them... Worthless crap... must be like... The rarest... most-valuable treasure in all the Universe!!!

Android X's eyes widened as he came to this sudden epiphany and he nodded his forehead down ward slightly in agreement with his mind. The android was not one to judge how other people spent their time... but the fact that he had been roped into this journey... just because he had wanted to get the fuck out of that shit hole office and breathe some fresh, Frost Planet-air into his tortured-lungs.

What a drag.. thought the android, his eyes narrowing and his brow relaxing slowly. He rolled his shoulders back and gently patted his left hand against the flames that were beginning to spread across his Leather jacket. The flames turned to a thick gray-smoke as the android's hand suffocated their air and put them out with his palm...
...Since he was now here... and now already on the Second Level of this Twelve Story crap-castle, he might as well but some focus forth and make the best of the situation...

After all.. the quicker they got to the top and acquired the Crusty-turd that awaited them.. the quicker they would be able to get the hell out of here... and the quicker Android X... would be able to disband from this group and get back to business.

Android X relaxed, and allowed himself to plummet back to the floor of the Second Level and as his feet touched down, they immediately began to singe and smoke from the extreme heat. The android quickly looked around, revealing that there was no obvious exit from this room.. which would lead them to the Third Level. His eyes darted back and forth as he examined the overall red-hue of the room, and the wicked shadows that flickered constantly across the walls. As his eyes fell upon a particular set of shadows... that looked especially menacing in shape; the shadows... suddenly came to LIFE!

The android stepped back quickly, and a strong grip suddenly fell around the android's left shoulder. As he turned his head slowly to discover the cause of this sudden pressure against his person; his eyes fell upon a terrible sight. A mass of Shadow figures had already emerged from the walls behind him, and one of the giant shadowy-beasts already had it's hand on Android X. Fuck! thought the android as his mind sprinted quickly through his head, looking for an immediate resolution to this sudden encounter of... what seemed to be.. hostile forces.

Android X flung his eyes closed and threw his hands to either sides of his head, his fingers resting near his temples. In the blink of an eye; ... nothing happened.

The android opened his eyes and saw that shadow creature was still clutching his shoulder and that even more of them were beginning to form, sprouting up from the floor and coming down from the walls and ceiling. With no exit in sight... a Solar Flare technique that would not work inside this place; and a mass of steaming sweat running down his face and dripping off the end of his nose; Android X wondered... if this might be the end...

Oh Bee!

As Android X activated his bukujutsu ability and launched himself into the trap door of the floor above, suddenly a blast of flames shot out of the trap door, as if the room was filled to the very brim with fire, and the mass of Android X entering the level forced the room to overflow and the excess fire to pour into the jungle floor below it.

”Hmm, looks pretty hot up there. Maybe I should just wait here until he gives me the all clear. I am sure he can handle what ever is up there on his own. I mean, what could be so hard up there? I mean, I defeated this level with ease, so what could be so difficult up there?” Erthe reasoned to himself as he stood on the first floor, waiting for the Android to let him know all was clear and he was able to come up.

As Erthe was watching, though, He noticed that a rather large bee was sitting on a near by flower. Now with most people, the first thought the get when they see a bee the size of an apple, would more then likely be ‘do not make the thing mad.’, that is the thing, though; Erthe is not most people. The first thought that went through Erthe’s mind actually was “Stupid Bee” follow quickly by this thought: “I hate bees.” And finally “I should crush it.”

So after that quick series of thoughts, Erthe reaches down and pulls off his boot and slowly stalks up to the bee. With the large insect square in his sights, Erthe flexed the muscles in his arm and shoulder, causing the boot heel to come crashing down on top of the apple sized bee. A loud cracking sound filled Erthe’s ears, and a satisfied grin slid across his lips knowing that the bee was no longer living and would never bother ‘anyone’ ever again.

Erthe confidently lifted his boot heel from being solidly held to the ground and slipped it back on his foot, then turned to walk back to the trap door. Erthe nearly made it back to his original position when he heard a rather loud, and even more angry buzzing sound from behind him. Stopping in his tracks, Erthe frozen; ”No, it could not be” he thought to himself, trying to reason the situation out. ”I clearly killed that bee;” His thought pattern continued to reason, but all the reasoning in the world could not change the fact that the loud and angry buzzing sound behind him was getting closer by the micro second.

With logic failing him, Erthe slowly turned around to face his fearful suspicion, and it was confirmed down to the last ion of doubt, the bee was buzzing about chest height behind Erthe, erratically bobbing and weaving about.

”I have a feeling that this is not going to end the best.” Erthe mumbled to himself, unsure of what was about to happen next. As expected, the bee rapidly plunged forward coming at Erthe stringer first. Jumping to the side to avoid the stinging attempt, Erthe quickly slapped down ward, his hand coming into solid contact with the bee and slamming the thing down wards, causing the apple size bee to crash once again in to the floor below. The punching attempt of Erthe resulted the same way that the mighty boot slam did, with the bee quickly recovering and again launching it self up into the air, resuming its bobbing and weaving pattern.

”If I can not crush this thing, what am I going to do? I might have to just get far enough away so that it forgets about me.” Erthe said to himself, and when the bee again begun to charge at Erthe stinger first, Erthe decided that to be his next best bet. ”Sounds like a plan! Let’s get out of here;” Erthe shouted as he turned away from the bee and begun to charge head first through the thick jungle underbrush.

Thud, Thud, Thud, was the sound of his hard soled boots that greeted Erthe’s ears as he continued to run from the bee that was in continued hot pursuit of Erthe. Several time’s Erthe’s arms were either to slow or just not enough to deflect a branch or giant leaf that slapped painfully against the skin of Erthe’s face.

As the minutes wore on of Erthe running, eventually he came to a wall that barred his continued path. ”No where left to go, but up!” Erthe roared as he neared the wall that was blocking him from continuing to flee the large and angry bee. Firmly running into the wall, instead of crashing into it, Erthe actually ran several steps up the wall, his boots clanking loudly on the stone wall as he continued to move up it.

About half way up the wall, Erthe forced his legs to flex and push him off of the wall, bring his upper body up and over his hips, completing a flip off of the wall. With two loud thuds, Erthe landed on the ground; now behind the bee, which was between him and the offending wall.

Once again, Erthe turned tail, and begun to run back the way he had come, back towards the trap door and suspected freedom. On and on Erthe continued to run, his head down and thrust forward, and both arms and legs wildly pumping, propelling the lithe form of Erthe on ward towards the entrance to the second floor.

Finally, after what seemed like twice the distance he had traveled on his way to the wall, Erthe arrived to the trap door, skidding to a stop. Spinning around, Erthe saw that the bee was still in hot pursuit of him, and did not seem to be willing to give up any time soon. ”Stupid bee, I hate bees!” Erthe roared in out rage, and he lifted his arms up, throwing his elbows out wards so that his horizontal arms and torso formed a giant letter “T”.

Then with both his hands cuffed to form a circle right over the center of his chest, a large green ball of energy begin to form in the center of his cuffed hands. ”Seeing you are not going to give up, I will have to destroy you!” Erthe roared, and a wave burst from the powered orb between his hands, a full power energy wave launching from his hands and crashing into the charging bee.

The bee was no match for the powerful energy attack, and with the bee unable to take the full force of the energy wave, it continued to cut a path through the jungle, undiscriminating on what it destroyed. When the blast finally died out, all that remained of the large swatch that the wave had cut was smoke rising from the burnt floor. ”Well, that is that.” Erthe cockily said, as he dusted his two hands together and then flicked both hands at the floor as if to rid himself of the memory of the annoyingly large bee.

To Erthe’s despair, though, he quickly found he was not free of the giant bees, but actually had awaken the whole hive, as hundreds of the giant bees begun to surround Erthe, filling his head with the mind numbingly loud buzz. ”Well, this was unforeseen. I think it is now time to go see what Android X is doing!” Erthe said to himself before launching himself through the trap door. Landing on the floor next to the trap door, Erthe immediately felt the searing heat of the room burn his skin, but he ignored the pain as he reached through the trap door and closed it just as several bees thudded into the underside of the trap door.

”That was a close call.” Erthe said as he danced from foot to foot, trying to keep the bottom of his feet from getting too warm against the floor. ”You would not believe the trouble I found down there Scruffy.” Erthe said to Android X as he continued to stair at the trap door, making sure that it would hold against the onslaught of the bees crashing into it.

”Is it me, or is it really hot in her….” Erthe started to say as he turned to face Android X, but his sentence caught off when he saw the predicament that Android X was in, being strangled by a half dozen or so shadows. ” Snuffles!” Erthe roared, as he quickly resumed to pose that he struck against the bee before launching his full power energy wave, but this time, instead of energy, a large force of water exploded off of Erthe, crashing in to both Android X and the shadows.

The force of the water freed Android X from the clutches of the shadows, and Erthe quickly turned to face the closest wall of the room. Holding the same pose, Erthe quickly charged and launched another full power energy wave, this time it crashed into the wall, blowing a large whole into the side of the room, allowing sunlight to poor into the room.

As the beams of sunlight from Frost’s large sun poured into the room, the shadows begun to shy away from the light, seeking the refuge of the far corners of the room. With the shadows ‘defeated’ and chased away, the intense heat of the room slowly begun to dissipate and quickly the freezing cold temperatures from outside filled the room, causing the room to assume a much more comfortable temperature as Android X begun to lift himself from the ground.

With the evil shadows defeated, and the unbearable heat neutralized, Erthe quickly begun to scan the room, and to his surprise in the corner of the room, a spiral staircase had materialized from thin air. With a shrug of his shoulders, Erthe turned to Android X. ”I am starting to think that climbing this tower is no longer that great of an idea. I mean I was just assaulted by a whole hive of bees the size of apples, and then I come up here to find you being tackled by a half dozen fire shadows? Well, some how I think what ever is at the top of this tower isn’t actually worth the effort of getting up there. So unless you feel like taking the next several floors while I relax, I think we would be better off finding Mather and forgetting this place even exists.” Erthe said, as he turned and walked several steps towards the blown out wall, before again turning to face Android X

”Another thing. What kind of crazy towers have suddenly materializing spiral staircases? I mean what kind of bright idea is that? I mean, sure, it is a good way to make sure that someone doesn’t advance until the stairs materialize, but who wants to sit and wait for some stupid stairs to show up and decide to let them up to the next floor. Not me, that’s who!” Erthe said, obviously confusing what he is trying to say. Erthe walked all the way to the edge of the room, and leaned against one side of the whole that he had blown into the wall.

”Anyways I need to find this fool guy that Yargniz Vozax referred me to come to this shit hole and find some rare items for Genesis Corporation. I think his name was ‘Ten’ or “Excelent” or something like that. So yeah, I have to find him and pay him for the work he did for Genesis Corporation, so screw this tower. I doubt whatever is at the top is worth the hassle, you know?” Erthe said, and then he turned to face Frost, looking through the hole in the wall. He scanned the horizon in search for his rather slow son, but when he failed to spot Mather, he looked over his shoulder at Android X and smiled. ”You are welcome to come back to my base at anytime, scruffy, just so long as you promise to be more careful and not wreck the join up anymore. I mean, I am sure I can get all the repairs out of corporate funds, but if they continue to flow in at the rate it seems you like to break things, I might get demoted. No one would like to see that! Well, I guess, I need to find that guy that Yargniz Vozax sent, so unless you have something to add, I will be off now.” Erthe said before jumping out the window, and flying away.

Android X was losing his struggle against the shadow monsters, who were now not only out numbering him, but over powering him. As he was slowly dragged to the ground and surrounded by more and more of these wicked shadow demons, the android's mind flashed with memories of his life up to this point. He registered suddenly that his life... was indeed, flashing before his eyes, and he closed his soft eye lids over his eye balls to further enjoy the experience and allow himself to relax into the sensation. This was the end.. thought Android X.... that... was what death felt like.

Surprisingly peaceful, decided the android, who had always pictured a more gruesome and agonizing demise than this. This was actually very pleasant and it was not a bad way to go out at all; he agreed.
From the time the android had entered into battle, to defend himself against the aggression of the Transformer on Planet Vegeta, the android had experienced fear... and pain... and hatred for violence. He was sure that as he began to lose that battle, that he would experience death then... though, the Transformer had been nice enough to spare him... and later, they had even become friends.. Android X pictured Bane... the Transformer warrior he had come to know... and love, as a brother. The two had become so close in fact, that after their Battle, their time imprisoned in the massive compound; and once they had escaped...they decided to form an even stronger bond then they already had. They formed... an Alliance.

They had both come to know and love the Planet Vegeta.. and think of it not only as their home.. but almost as their child... which needed protection.. love... and nourishment to grow and thrive. There were always new threats presenting them selves every day in life. And sure enough, those threats would attempt to way down on one's soul... pushing them into the ground and flattening them like a pancake. The two friends decided, they would not fall victim to this harsh gravity of life... and instead, would use the x4 Gravity of Planet Vegeta to train, not only their bodies, but their minds... and Grow Strong Enough... to defend their beloved home. No one would come to their planet... and make a mess... no one... would harm their baby.
This is the vow the two warriors made as they formed the Knights of the Old Republic; that they would defend Planet Vegeta, from any, and ALL threats against her... and they would do so, with their lives.

Android X continued to relive fond memories within his mind... his brain racing back and forth through all the different things he had been through and all the different things he had seen. So many memories.. in such a short time..
..The android felt as though it had only been a month... and yet, it seemed as though a year had passed... how strange, how time flies; thought the nostalgic-android.

Suddenly, as the android was coming to complete acceptance with his transference to the land of eternal-sleep; a loud thud awoke his eye lids and caused them to open once more..

There, before the android, was the familiar-stranger he had come to know recently on Frost Planet. The one who had pulled him from the giant snow-drift, saving him from a chilly-fate. The one who had once again saved him, thawing his frozen lips away from the harsh-ice slab he had fallen upon; only moments after being saved the first time. Another chilly-embarrassing fate, avoided; thanks to this man. Time and time again, the android had faced challenges and extreme pain, from food-ordering monitors falling on him, to a strange pizza that proved to be far too powerful for the android to even consider taking on...
...then, there was the incident in the man's office... where the android had passed gas, silently... and then regretted his decision and looked for a way out. Only to find, that there was none; crashing face first into reinforced glass and window blinds and sliding to the floor in defeat. Oh, the memories that entered the android's mind when his eyes looked upon this man. Another giant chunk to add to the android's life... another piece, to the puzzle.
Android X did not know where he was going... he only knew, where he had been... and as he watched this stranger, this Mighty-Warrior! blow a hole in the wall of the Second Level's room, showering the room in sun light and Vanquishing the Evil Shadow Demons... the android knew... he had once again been saved by this kind stranger... he had once again been given... another chance... to push forward, to discover... more.

The android sat in aw, as he looked at the man, who moved seamlessly through time and space itself it seemed. The man moved toward the newly created hole in the wall and the android could scarcely-see the man's silhouette, which looked more like a Mystical-God... than a man. As the rays of Frost Planet's intense sun shown through the hole and lit up the room, the android's attention was drawn toward a spiraling stair case, that had suddenly constructed itself in the corner of the room. As the android stood, he brushed himself off, his body temperature now cooling, and the sweat on his face and nose drying. Android X broke a small icicle off the tip of his nose and examined it for a few moments, allowing it to lay in his palm. As the heat from his skin began to melt the small sliver of frozen-water, the android gawked in fascination.. This world...
this... life... is... amazing.

"....You are welcome to come back to my base at anytime.... Scruffy....." sounded the stranger's voice toward the android's slightly distracted ears and attention..

A name being spoken, suddenly ripped the android's attention and head up ward..

"...Yargniz Vozax...."

Android X's eyes shot up and he searched the bright-light of the man-made hole frantically; trying to see the stranger..
..FUCK ME! exclaimed the android, who's mind had just been hit with the realization; that this man... this stranger, was No stranger at all!
This... was the man who had sent him the letter on Planet Vegeta; contracting him to come search for rare items of great value on this Frozen Ice-Ball.. This... was Erthe!

Android X rushed to the edge of the room, shoving his head into the cold, icy-breeze of the outside world. The android's eyes quickly located the small spec; that was Erthe, already disappearing through the cold air, into the horizon..

..The android slowly allowed himself to condense to a sitting position, and he hung his legs out of the hole of the room. Android X sat for several long moments.. inhaling the cool, fresh-air of the Frost Planet in through his nostrils, allowing the chilly oxygen to enter his body and peak his senses. Android X smiled softly, his lips remaining closed, but turning up ward at the corners.. He shifted his weight and planted his left hand against the floor behind his back, rotating his left shoulder slightly behind him and turning his head to see the staircase in the corner of the room.. spiraling up ward to the next level. Android X smirked..
... He would seek this kind-soul out later... ...but for now...

...there was a treasure waiting for him, 10 levels up.

Erthe's Silhouette as seen by Android X:
