Easy Cold wind brushed across Raditz’ face as the dim moonlight shone across the street. Raditz looked high in the sky, directly at the half-moon. It was a beautiful sight, and Raditz smiled faintly. He wasn’t one to be sentimental, but it somehow reminded him of the old days, before he had become a full-fledged warrior. He had been tortured endlessly, day in and day out, by his fellow cadets. He didn't miss the old days, heavens no, but he was still getting used to the idea that he was a soldier. "Heh. The good ol' days... Not." He kicked a small rock that was on the sidewalk across the street and noticed a few rats scurrying out of where he had kicked it to. His aim was still impeccable as always. Raditz grinned and then kicked another rock to where they had ran from, and it splintered into pieces and rebounded, hitting three fleeing rats in the behind and killing them. He laughed and continued walking. As time started to pass, he noticed in the reflection of several metallic objects and a store window that someone was trying to follow him. He looked subtly around for somewhere to surprise him, and smiled as he found a street corner and turned, hidden to his pursuer by the store. Raditz turned and readied to pounce on his follower right as he turned the corner. What he didn't expect was that the person following him was a bum. Either way, before he could even think, he slammed into the poor soul, racing across the street and nearly smashing him onto a wall of another store. Raditz thought about it in the half of a second it took him to do so, but thought against it. He would've have to repair the damages, and he couldn't interrogate his victim. He instead picked him up by the collar and held him up against the brick wall and bored right into his eyes. The poor man looked terrified and yet mesmorized by the warrior. Raditz blinked and then shoved him against the wall again. "Why are you following me?" The man shook his head rapidly, denying he was pursuing Raditz. The Saiyan warrior grew angry and slammed him against the wall again. He yelled at him with an explosive anger only contained by the intense training he had overgone the past few weeks to control his power. "Why the HELL were you following me?! Don't deny it, or I will end you HERE AND NOW!" The poor man's whole body was rattled by the yell and he started to cry. Raditz sighed and threw him onto the ground and pinned him with one foot on his stomach. The man cried in pain and struggled to squeak out a few words. "Man.. Paid.. I need.. Food.. He had... Please don't.. Hurt!" Raditz let go of the man and he immediately scurried off with all of his feeble speed. The warrior looked around for whoever paid the man food to follow him. He noticed a thin, shady figure sitting on a bench in a not-so-obvious coat and hat, reading a book under the streetlight. "Who reads books at night?" The figure looked up to see nobody and shivered, thinking he had heard a ghost. Oh, there was no ghost there. Only Raditz, standing directly behind the man after jumping there when he found him. He formed a cup in his hands and immediately siezed the figure by the throat and held him up with the fierceness of a tiger. "What the hell do you want with me?!" The man choked and tried to feebly smack his arm away, but he was so weak compared to Raditz it had no effect at all. His fists feel uselessly upon Raditz' muscled arm. Raditz squeezed tighter, making the man wheeze and gasp for air. Raditz then threw him against the wall and pinned him with his hand on the man's chest, not choking him anymore. He wanted an answer, not a death on his hands.. But the other man didn't know that. He was truly terrified for his life. "Let me go.. Please.. I don't mean any harm.." Raditz yelled right in his face, only inches away. "BULLSHIT!" He took his other arm and slugged him in the face with only a small fraction of his strength. Raditz felt a resounding crack! from the man's nose as he connected the attack. The man was forced to fall onto the ground and started weeping in pain and agony, blood and snot pouring from his nose. He resigned to stay there until the warrior got bored and went away, but Raditz did not have enough. He dragged the man to his feet and leaned him against the wall. Nobody was in sight to witness the brutal attack from the warrior before. "Tell me, or I will finish this right here and now." The man sobbed some more and gargled out a few unrecognizable words. Raditz shook him forcefully and he managed to cough out a few words. "Sorry.. Left pocket.. Paper.. Read..." He coughed a few more times, blood streaming down the side of his mouth, and Raditz sat him on the bench to prevent the blood getting on him. He removed a small piece of paper from inside the man's left pocket of his pants, and read it.
Raditz laughed and walked around the bench to look at him. "You expect an honorable warrior to steal? You are sadly mistaken. I won't kill you now, though. I'll give you time to recover. Meet me here the night after tomorrow night." The warrior powered up and soared into the night, leaving the badly injured man to only lay on the bench until he could once again move and return home. Raditz returned to his quarters of the barracks and prepared for the next night. Over the next day, he studied the mansion's defenses, and that night, he dressed in all black clothes and walked to his noted blind spot of the cameras. He studied the gated estate to make sure nothing had changed in the routine. That was when he noticed a small raised-portion near the house in a straight path to him. It was a stone, square structure with two doors on it. Raditz grinned, knowing this would probably lead him to a cellar or a basement of sorts. He then used his incredible strength and agility to almost glide over the wall and land with a crunch on the perfect grass inside. He looked about, studying the layout in the comfort of the shadows around him... WC: 1256 / 2500 |

It looked much different on the inside than on the outside. A few guards and dogs were littered across the grounds of the manor, and Raditz studied their regular paths for a few minutes before proceeding. Getting inside was very easy. Raditz merely laid down and army-crawled through some patches of tall grass, hid behind a box when a dog came by, and jumping over several guards that blocked the not-so-secret entrance to the house. His feet didn’t make a sound as he landed, slowing his descent to the speed of a falling balloon before he hit the ground. Raditz then continued quickly to avoid further detection. What he didn’t notice was that one camera saw his entire feats, a very well concealed one, and the clock started to wind down… Raditz opened the door to the basement and practically slid down the stone stairs. He looked around, and heard two growls from behind the corner. He took a peek and saw two guard dog-like beings baring their fangs at him. Not wanting them to bark, he quickly moved with all of his speed and neutralized both of them by snapping their necks. They didn’t even notice him move, and the last thing they saw was the apparently empty basement. Raditz wiped his hands on the wall, hating the fact that dog hair clung to your skin and clothes often, and continued on. He searched about for a way into the house, and finally found it. A small, wooden door stood in his way into the house, and he clutched the knob with his hands and took a few deep breaths before turning it and opening the door slowly. It creaked, but apparently no one had heard a thing. Raditz mentally slapped himself in the face and immediately moved to the second floor, knowing bedrooms were usually never on the first floor. He ascended the stairs with a great pace, taking three or even four steps in a single stride. In a flash, he was already up the stairs and looking through the doors. Another concealed camera watched the apparent thief and soon a loud blaring noise could be heard throughout, and outside of, the entire compound. Raditz yelled in frustration. ”Damn this place!” After searching through three bedrooms to no avail, he tried the last door with the last shred of hope. If it’s not this room, I’m out of here…” He slammed open the door, not caring that the entire wall behind the door practically shattered with the force of Raditz’ actions. This bedroom was way more grand than the other rooms, by far. Raditz thought to himself, This is it.. Now to find the safe.. He tossed over every piece of furniture and threw everything on the wall to the floor. Nothing. The only thing he hadn’t touched was the bed.. ”The bed!” Raditz grinned and jumped onto the bed. A small cling of coins could be heard. Raditz laughed and jumped off of the bed, then tossed the mattress into the hallway, slamming it right smack into an unsuspecting guard. He was thrown into the opposite wall and knocked unconscious. Raditz looked at the guard and frowned. The alarms were still blaring, and he could hear guns being loaded from outside. Getting out wouldn’t be as easy as getting in, but hey, Raditz could just fly out.. ”Oh, but that would ruin the fun of it. Heh…” Raditz looked back down at the large bag full of Zeni. He lifted it up. Damn, this guy is loaded.. The bag was pretty heavy. In fact, it was more than Raditz could have imagined, and the first second he struggled to pick it up, only using a small fraction of his strength to lift it. He then put a little bit more effort into it and swung the bag around over his shoulder. Raditz smiled and then walked outside of the room, where two guards stood in his way. They rose their guns and pointed them directly at Raditz. They fired their automatic weapons, unloading full clips of bullets at him, and Raditz merely stood still.. Or so they thought. He dropped the bag and used both of his hands to simply deflect the bullets from his body. Not one scratch appeared on him. He smiled and caught the last two bullets. As the soldiers looked at him in awe, they tried reloading their weapons, but they fumbled so much they dropped them. ”My turn.” Raditz held one bullet in each hand and flicked them at the soldiers, shooting them so fast that not even the highest-powered weapon the Saiyans possessed could have caused it. The two bullets entered the two guards’ skulls and pierced their brains, killing them both. Raditz grinned widely and raced down to the front door. There was no purpose to use the back door now. Outside, an entire army laid in wait for him. They unleashed hell upon Raditz, not caring about the house apparently. Raditz dodged many of the first bullets, and then deflected a few more. They stopped firing after seeing the carnage of their weapons. Raditz sighed and looked up. Nothing in sight. He didn’t feel like killing any more people than he already had today, but then again, he couldn’t just give away that he was a Saiyan by powering up and taking off. No, instead he raced towards the soldiers. They opened fire once more, and Raditz dodged every single bullet but one, which implanted itself in his shoulder. He didn’t see the sniper who caused it, but he yanked the bullet out of his body and dropped it into his pocket. Raditz would use that later. He jumped over the people in the barricade at the front gate, stepping on a few heads and a car hood before leaping over the barricade. Raditz took off into the city, and the soldiers stopped firing once more after they realized they had failed… Later that evening, Raditz walked into the city, back to the same spot where he met the shady man. Indeed, the other man was also there, and Raditz held up the bag to him. The man’s eyes lit up and his smiled turned even wider. He held out his palms, which Raditz immediately snapped tie-wraps on, which he had bought from a store the day before. The man looked at him confused and tried to grab the bag, even with his hands tied up. Raditz laughed and kicked him down, tying another tie-wrap between his tied hands and to a nearby pole, and then tie-wrapped his feet. He scrawled a note on a piece of paper and stuck it onto the man’s chest. He also took the bullet from his pocket and flicked it into the man’s shoulder. If the guards testified, then the bullet wound would definitely proof him innocent. The wound wasn’t major enough to kill, and Raditz wrapped it up to prevent him from losing blood, though. Later, the police would be mystified as to how the robber was tied to a pole and a note attached to him, but as Raditz had thought of, the guards testified and the shoulder wound apparently proved the man guilty. He was beaten by the guards and sent off to a prison camp, to spend the next dozen years working in the mines.. Or worse. Raditz merely laughed and flew to his newly-bought house… WC: 1,252 (+1,256) = 2,508 / 2,500 |
