'I need to see the king.' A guard in the capital of Frost tilted his halberd to keep the green man from entering the gate he was guarding. He let out a chuckle and tapped his neighboring guardsman on the shoulder. 'You fuckin' hear that? He wants to see the king!' He was quickly done laughing as he turned his attention to the green wanderer once more. 'In all seriousness, no one can enter here. Kings orders. You be a good citizen and keep out.' Obviously this guard had not noticed the blatantly obvious fact of the green skin of this man. 'But it is of dire need, I need to go see the king.' 'Dire need, eh? Aren't you too young to use words this complex?' The guard mockingly retorted. 'And the answer is still no. No one enters, just like five seconds ago.' Pain began getting annoyed. 'I am not young!' He pressed his index finger on the chest of the guard, forcing him to find new balance. 'And I said I need to see the king.' The guard noticed that by the last few words spoken the green man known as Pain was pretty serious. 'If you want to see the king, try a window.' The namekian warrior fought the urge to punch the guard against his nose and start a riot. 'I mean, I want to plow your mother, but I don't see that happening.' The years spent on Frost had enabled the namekian to pick up on insults and jokes. Separating them from each other was not a strong point of his despite this fact. He took this as a serious statement and balled his hand, cracking his knuckles. Despite being namekian and not having a mother, his stay on this strange planet had made him act like a citizen of Frost instead of a citizen on Namek. 'The fuck did you say about my mother?' |
