![]() Immersive Force Chapter 2 The Immoral Compassl![]() Dabura fund himself asleep as soon as he notified Dauturu that he needed to rest. It was something that the Hell Spawn had yet to do since he had arrived across realms to Planet Vegeta. He had been greeted by a Saiyan welcoming party, a pack of native beasts, a skeleton and a trio of fem fatales. He was no longer just a manifestation of his own desire; the Demon had a shell and with all things physical… he needed rest. It was an idea that had not crossed his mind before. Dabura was so busy caught up in the theory of the Saiyans and exploring the powerful energy source, Kilis that he simply had forgotten about it. He had acquired this cavern in the name of himself but had yet to lay a foundation for anything that could make the rocky home simply that; a home. His eyesight was the first thing to go as his vision began to play tricks on his depth of perception. His body, weary with no rest had come next. His fatigue was apparent as he slumped through his cavern. Who knew that absorbing Kilis could drain him in such a way? It was to his dismay but this may have been an important lesson to the future king. He needed to learn the meaning of moderation or this state which he was in, would come again and he definitely didn’t want that. Finally, Dabura made it to the sector of the cavern that he called his chambers. Towards the northern end of the room sat a giant structure; it encompassed asset of rocks stacked together to make legs and arms. The back-end and flattened bottom were shaved of their jagged linings to a smooth sidewalk styled pavement. Taking his seat Dabura had managed to finally catch a moments rest. He instantly went into a temporary retirement as his mind faded away into another reality.
Since Dabura had no Idea of such a thing… and since he did not believe in the power or even existence of a Soul; he would surely be perplexed by the next set of events. As he took to this deep sleep, he appeared in what seemed to be a dry desert. It reminded the Hell Spawn of Hell’s version of deserts, masses of rock heaped together with lava flowing freely upward like miniature volcanoes here and there. Of course he didn’t know where he was so he began to move forward. The massive body of land seemed everlasting but would eventually end with Dabura finding a small shaft dead in the middle of everything. Upon inspection at a closer range, he found it to be just a small cabin of sorts but the inside was a whole different story. He travelled down a set of stairs, which walkway would not be lighted if it not were for his recent acquirement of the element of fire. These stairs would go for a good 3 stores before the Hell Spawn would reach a circular bottom; an oval shaped room. There was a plateau in the middle of this room and like everything demonic there were weird hieroglyphs on the walls. Dabura had not seen the characters before but could easily read the type they were. “Sprout – Saiyan Captain Class Warrior – PL: 2100 – Negative Fall: Vengeance” He was surprised by this turn of words. He looked up as the room began to shift into something completely different than where he stood a moment ago. This new room was of circular design, had imagery of great Saiyan warriors… faces he had seen before. As he thought about it… it was the faces of the people who he had killed in order to make Sprout Fall. He took a step back as he was back inside the center of the previous room. He turned to his right as there was more writings on a different area of the room, but it was right next to where he was at currently. “Enola-Saiyan Trainer Warrior-PL: 2900-Negative Fall: Regret” As soon as he finished reading the words, the room shifted just like before. The room he now wa sin resembled that of a gym training room. Weights, exercise machines, punching bags and the like loitered the area. There were 2 massive murals dedicated to a single entity a piece. Upon inspecting the face of the two women… it was the friends of the Saiyan he killed named Enola. He took a step back out of shock of this room as well. He was back in the center room as it shifted back to its original form. He looked to his left and back to his right as he saw nothing around him, except emptiness in this giant room. He noticed the area that was labeled “Sprout” and the area he currently faced labeled “Enola”. Dabura began to break out into a heavy sweat as the fire that he lit using his power over heat from his battle with Sprout faded away. “What is going on here…” The Hell Spawn known as Dabura… truly was confused. 1273 |

![]() Immersive Force Chapter 3 The Immoral Compassl![]() How was it that not only Sprout but Enola as well, was in this place? Well to be frank the Demon didn’t know they were there for sure but there were images, and words that symbolized their presence. He began to lose his footing as the Demon continued to b flustered by the randomness that was this ‘Well of Morals”. His foot slammed on a particular part of the circular dial which would send more confusion his way. This confusion was the activation of the Morals that slept within the consciousness of Dabura; Enter Sprout… Saiyan Squadron Leader. A bellowing laugh was heard as Dabura looked to his left. The Laugh faded away into a larger howl that screeched into the ears of the Hell Spawn. He raised a hand and used his element of Fire to light his path of vision as he looked to the other side of the room… but still nothing. Sweat could be visibly seen as the Demon… who haunted the mind of mortals wa shaving his own mind haunted by those he devoured… such a coincidental outcome. Dabura turned around to see the formation of a body. Tiny particles of light began to compound together to form, to Dabura’s dismay, a body and this belonged to the last image that Dabura had seen of Sprout before he died. “It seems that I was given a second chance at getting my revenge.” A laughter came as the particles were not done. Righ next to Sprout formed another body but this was not humanoid at all, It was the form of the wolf mother that Dabura killed before Sprout! It was starting to come together as Dabura took all of this in. The Laughter from before along with the howl belonged to these two as the wolf made a loud howl yet again. Sprout looked at the wolf and placed a hand on its head. “You see… In your destruction you have caused, you have triggered something awkward. Much like you I was confused when I awoke here. Little by little I was given insight onto where I was… and who you was; Dabura. By judging from the confused look on your face… it is true I am dead, along with my wolf brethren to the side of me. But, one thing that nobody expected was for all 3 of us to be reborn again… inside of you!” His words were a revelation. There was a part of it that Dabura did not understand as he looked around the room again. He don’t know what had gave him the urge… it felt like his conscious was pulling him as he turned to meet a fist to the face. He fell back a few feet as he grabbed his chin and looked up with a grit of his teeth. He was met with a staring contest of the other being he killed on Vegeta; Enola. He remembered her face all too well. It was a grimace that he would have rather not seen at this time as the words of Sprout clicked into his head. At this time Enola had taken over as the voice beckoning Dabura… deep inside this Well of Morals. “Thank you Sprout, you just don’t know how good that felt. And to you… you mind-shattering Demon! How dare you do that. How dare you toy with a woman’s mind to the point of killing her own sisters! Now forever and ever… as long as I have the power and ability to… I will make your existence a living hell! Right along with the Wolf and Sprout.” Enola looked over to her accomplices as her body phased from reality, only to appear behind Sprout and the Wolf. “Ya see Dabura; we do’t know how…. Don’t know why… hell frankly I know I personally don’t care either way but we have been given something special here. We have been given the great ability to do what your kind have done to us mortals for so long… and that is destroy your mind. But don’t worry… we aren’t going to make to this quick, you are not going to enjoy this…. And I promise you it will last your lifetime….” Dabura presence began to be forced out by some un known power as his body began to float upwards in the air. “I promise you… that next time you take rest… I will come for you… “King” Dabura…” 2015 |

![]() Immersive Force Chapter 3 The Immoral Compassl![]() And like that, the Hell Spawn woke back up from his rest. His attendant was there when he woke to see if things were good while he rested. “Is everything alright mi ’lord?” Dabura looked slowly over to the ghoul that swore loyalty to him so much that he even went back in time to serve a younger version of him in distraught. Dabura was sweating… profusely at that. It was not a good rest but could he tell that to Dauturu no? of coursehe could not. This person was here to witness a great deal of Dabura’s earliest triumphs as he was previously told. What would the bag of bones think if he knew Dabura was having troubles from the scary little Saiyans in his dreams, especially ones that he had destroyed while absorbing their Kilis? He would not only be branded as a coward… but it could negate his whole siege of the throne in his coming days. He had to deal with this on his own… someway. Hell; they were inhabitants in his body. Dabura shook his head. He had to make an encompassing lie to make it seem like he was alright. The motive was to keep his cool and be the King that Dauturu had come to know and respect. “It’s a side effect of the element of fire. Sometimes I sweat due to being here in this rocky Cavern. My body haven’t fully adjusted to the flames that I control yet.” It surely was a farce… partially. Dabura hadn’t fully controlled the fire element at his disposal besides common uses but it was here that the lie ended as the sweat was from something else. Something he deemed worthy of rectifying. If he did not solve this little hick up… it would kill him either way. The Demon stood up from his resting spot; his chair and begin to walk forward. As he came to the entrance of his cave, he looked over to Dauturu and smiled. “Besides; there is no better time to start. I have a whole underworld to take Siege to. First I start with this Planet and it’s ravishing inhabitants.” Dauturu ghoulish eyes followed his young king as he nodded and thought of what he could be thinking then spoke. “Ahhh… The Tethering Soul. How did it go searching the memories of the woman you found? Did they have any useful information?” Just then, Dabura had thought about the memories and exactly who they belonged to. A short term memory popped in his head as he heard the voice of Enola in his head. He nodded at his Attendant and motioned for him to step out the cave with him. “The memories of the Saiyan woman point to a shrine in the north. It apparently is in the midst of some marsh that is haunted by a mysterious boat. By her memories, locals call it the Soulless Voyager. Luckily for us; my rest ended at just the time its supposed to start. We have approximately 3 hours until the Soulless Voyager begins it’s journey. Let’s move Dauturu…” The duo went forward as the moved at high speeds through the land. Their forms were wisp’s of their true bodies as the speed they moved in, it was quite hard to tell whether they were just spirits or actually bodies from the blurs of color that brushed past if one were to look at them. They exited the mountain area where Dabura had made his home to an open area. As Dabura looked on, he noticed it was an area he neared but never visited before as the land was a long stretch of flat rock. He looked across all directions and could see openly with no obstructions in his view. It was an odd occurrence. To his understandings, planets were bodies of mass that held more land than water, the same was true for this one. The weird thing is that the other area’s he been to were different in composition; none of which were flat. This land was an obscure contradiction as he quickly noticed why. “Of course.” “I see you have noticed my King.” “Yes. Being one of the Ghouls I bet you yourself had noticed as soon as stepping foot on these lands.” “Yes… these lands hold the remains of many individuals who lost their lives to the War with the Changelings. Let’s make haste my King!” Dauturu proposed as he junction’d his body to move at a faster pace, as well as Dabura. The Hell Spawn looked and pointed forward as he saw an opening in the land. As they entered this opening they realized a huge difference initially. The ground was of a different structure as it was not solid but a thick and squishy feeling underneath their boots. Dauturu pointed to a sign as the duo stopped and Dabura approached it. It read “Vanguards Marsh”. “This seems to be the place. We have to go through here to reach the waters where the Soulless Voyager is.” Dauturu nodded as both bodies simply vanished, if one did not follow their high speed movement that is. They ended up in the tree tops of a few tree’s a few miles ahead. The two conversed about how they would find this Soulless Voyager. Dabura folded his arms and smiled as he looked over at his attendant. “I already have that taken care of my faithful servant.” Dabura nodded forward as Dauturu’s eyes made contact with a body moving underneath them. IT did not notice the duo in the tree tops above as they seemed focused on something. It is here that the servant noticed that the being was a Saiyan who was covered in weird cloths but the tail was undeniable proof that this suspicious ‘person’ below them was Saiyan. The real question is what they were doing? “My guess is that this brave Saiyan, is not of the Militia but of ones that are separate from the empire Saiyans but still in allegiance with them. The Saiyans started as tribes across the wilderness and it seems this is one of those select few. I also believe that the legend of the Tethering Soul must be known to the Saiyan wilderness as some other legend… and this fool below will lead us to the empty boat.” The Saiyan the duo spoke of no doubt was of a masculine build. Dabura noted the broad shoulders and way the figure carried themselves. Being a male himself he could tell one of the same gender so it was no brainer. The being wore drapes that was unlike any other Saiyan he met. They were not battle armors with latex underneath it but robes with intricate markings and designs here and there. His pants and torso piece were beige with golden symbols etched into the fabric. Over the head was a wrapping in beige that covered all except by the front of their face, like a hood. Hanging behind him was a sash that flowed into the wind and over his feet were intricate footwear that reminded Dabura of magical beings he met through his lifetime in the other realm. The toes were pointed upwards while the base of the foot was a simple design, for comfort no less. Dabura motioned for Dauturu to move as the being below them moved. They moved forward along their respective branches to adjacent tree tops. Their movement had to be subtle, they were tracking an individual. The basic form of Ki sense would work but they needed to see this boat for themselves to ascertain whether or not this could lead to what they ultimately desired, the location of the Tethering Soul. They stopped shortly as the man they followed stopped and looked around himself. Unbeknownst to the Demonic Duo that Trailed, the Saiyan below was named Ranjit. It was as Dabura suspected, this Saiyan was not one that belonged to the Militia but they had ties with the empire ran by the King of their Planet, Titan. He was tasked with a vital mission that had to be done in order to unearth a worldly artifact. He was an explorer who was well trusted by Militia Officers of the Saiyan Empire and was contracted to find the Soulless Voyager and bring back an artifact this supposed ‘Soul’ leads you too. He belonged to a family known for their style and expertise… this would explain the outlandish and un-Saiyan-like apparel he chose to wear. The Demonic duo continued to follow until the Saiyan they followed began to catch on to the fact he was being followed and went into a speedy dash. Dabura and Dauturu, both, had lost track of this Saiyan. They looked all around themselves and even Dabura used his ability to ‘feel’ out energy traces all around himself. His vision coupled with his sense of hearing equaled out to absolutely nothing. No ping or any trace of this Saiyan; he simply vanished. “What now mi ‘lord?” Dabura thoughts as Dauturu questioned him on their course of action. It was when they paused to think about things did the Saiyan reveal his location, he was directly behind them! “So Im being followed by a skeleton and a giant pink man with dumbo-sized ears… boy this is rich.” His words made Dauturu turn towards him while Dabura kept his back to the Saiyan. “Don’t be fooled Dauturu. That is not him. That’s simply an illusion… albeit an intricate one but an illusion still.” The visage of this thieving Saiyan clapped and smiled. “You are smart… almost as much as you are ugly pink man. But that intelligence won’t help you find me…” Ranjit’s words sent a feeling into Dabura. It might have been the recent acquisition of Saiyans in his body and the fire element but those words seemed to light a fire in the Demon. He jumped down from his tree branch as his attendant followed. “Our cover has been blown… or maybe we never had cover to begin with. Looks like this Saiyan wants to do things the hard way.” Dabura stood still for a brief moment as he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath followed by a quick exhale. This process allowed Dabura to completely feel the presence of everything around him. This Saiyan was good is what Dabura thought. He activated a higher level of sense and could not feel his presence still. He pondered about the information he received from their brief altercation before he acted. A grin covered his lips as he sharply raised his power with a few bursts of energy that radiated about his form in the appearance of bolts of energy. These bolts, travelled throughout his form in the color of blue and why did Dabura do this? To simply raise his power level to alert those that someone with his power was there. You see, being a thief… Ranjit had a plethora of abilities that allowed him to evade combat and get around via other means. An aptitude that exceeded most Saiyans, a quick and nimble body to quickly aide him and techniques that he used for reconnaissance along with the fact that he hid constantly. These small benefits made Dabura realize one thing… Ranjit was avoiding all outcomes that would equal him having to fight at all. The Saiyan was a thief after all. The raising of his power sent a shockwave to those all around him within a mile radius. His po0wer was not the greatest the planet of Vegeta had to offer but it was great enough to have Ranjit break his current concentration but for a moment and that is when Dabura picked him up on his radar of sense. Quickly, Dabura shifted his body into high speed movement as he was now on the side of Ranjit. “So… For someone ugly as me… finding you would be hard you say?” A smile covered his face as he had a hand on the back of the Saiyan he spoke to. This hand had a pulsing aura of flames cover hi entire hand. It was not used for burning but for a scare tactic as the Saiyan could sense what kind of power the Demon held to him. He looked at the Demon with a sly gaze and gave a nervous chuckle followed by two words. “Oh shit…” 4084 |

![]() Immersive Force Chapter 3 The Immoral Compassl![]() “Oh Shit?” Dabura repeated the Saiyans words. It was a peculiar thing to say as the Demon raised an eyebrow. He looked at Dauturu who simply shook his head signaling he did not know what it meant. Dabura pressed his hand a little closer into the clothes of the Saiyan. “I’m sure you do not want to ruin these nice clothes you have on. We are going to ask you some questions and you are going to give us some answers… yes?” As Dabura briefly paused the heat from his right hand placed on the side of Ranjit began to create an even stronger heat. It still didn’t give off the force enough to burn anything, but to just raise the immediate temperature in the air as smoke started to come from his hand.; this was his ways of interrogating this Saiyan. “First start with your name. Who are you and we know already that you a Saiyan.” Dabura’s words were precise as he slowly began to formulate other sin his head waiting for the mortal before him to speak. “Ranjit… my name is Ranjit.” Dabura nodded as he repeated the name. “Why are you dressed like that? I have not seen any other Saiyans wear garb even remotely close to yours.” Dabura knew the answer to the question already, he just wanted to make sure his assumption was right before he added it to his knowledge base about the Saiyans and this Planet. “If it isn’t obvious to you two already, let me tell you. I’m of a different cast than the rest of the Saiyan lot. Where they take pride in their power and sheer capacity… there are Saiyans like me who hang on to traditional ways. I’m a Scavenger and I come from Scavenger Formali. In our Native tongue it means the Alliance of Scavengers.” Dabura nudged Ranjit to urge him to keep going. “We are a culture that continues to use our ancestral means rather than be industrialized by the new age. We don’t hoard power over all but instead relish the power of what our minds can do. Those brutes in the Military just do whatever somebody tells them to do blindly, it’s not my kind of thing.” Dabura nodded as a sound of interest escaped his lips. He thought to himself that these fluctuations in Saiyan culture were completely different and drastic. As he contemplated over the sheer difference between the Saiyan Empire and the Scavenger Formali, he was forgetting one quick thing… the reason they were there. Dauturu cleared his throat and called out to Dabura with a simple word. Dabura shook his head and chuckled. “My apologies Dauturu and Ranjit….” He drops his hand from Ranjit’s side. “Now… I need a favor of you Ranjit…””My lord! What are you doing?!?” Dauturu blurted out as he readied his trusted cutlass weapon and specialized shield. Ranjit heard the metal and decided not to move and hear this whole little discussion out. He figured this was going to be some sort of ending climax for him but it seemed fate deemed otherwise for him. Dabura held out his hand and motioned for Dauturu to settle down. “I am simply letting our friend here, Ranjit, make the choice of his own.” Dabura looks from Dauturu over to Ranjit. “Now my dear boy, I have a choice for you as I was telling my cohort here and you don’t have to stand like that. Im not the law or anything… lets be formal Ranjit.” Ranjit turned around to Face Dabura as Dauturu weapons vanished in green fire as the skeleton man was just standing there observing this Saiyan. For a moment… even on his dead face, Ranjit could of sworn he saw a cowl form on the boney face of Dauturu. He was shocked himself that he could notice it considering it was no flesh… just bare bone. “Alright. What’s this choice?” “Well simple. Me and my cohort here are fresh to your Planet… give or take a few weeks. We have been looking for a Soulless Voyager that is supposed to be around these parts. Now of course as you already knew, but we aren’t from round here so I was hoping you could guide us to this Voyager and help us further in our endeavors…” “And what If I say no?” “Well my boy, that leaves me in quite the predicament. I am all that Is stopping my colleague here from brandishing arms again and having at your head. That isn’t an outcome that neither you or I would prefer… I assure you. But if you assist me here and until we gain what we are looking for… I can promise you an untold power. Like you said.... the Scavenger Formali do not hoard power but what if you could keep the mind you have now and still boast the awesome power of one of the Empire’s trained Saiyans… quite the combination indeed, no?” Dabured leered down at Ranjit with black and yellow eyes. He opted to go from interrogating the man to a more open approach. If he were to befriend this Saiyan… it would do him wonders. He would know where things would be on the planet and could learn more about the distinctive differences between the Empire and his own culture of outlandish Saiyan quality. It was a diplomatic approach with a demonic twist to it with an underlying threat all bundled by the Hell Spawn himself. Ranjit paused and rose both arms behind his head and turned to the side. He then looked over at Dauturu and back to Dabura. “Well I fancy being alive and having the power of life… so I’ll agree to your terms… on one condition however.” “Name it my friend.” “I have this strange device that my… you could call them my master… had gave me. I have no Idea how it words but I know that it is small and white with a unique face on it. It reminds me of your appearance and I figured you might have some sort of Idea as to what it is. If not it’s worth a shot.” Dabura nodded and ushered Ranjit to show him. As he took out the small device he held in one hand covered in cloth. “My lord…” “I Know Dauturu… that’s it…” The Immoral Compass that they searched for… it was in the palms of the hands of this Saiyan known as Ranjit. Dabura definitely had the right Idea of Befriending this Saiyan. He could use a guide and it seemed this other culture of Saiyans could be used in more ways than one. “Before we start my dear boy we must introduce ourselves to you. This skeleton who is protective of everything around me is known as my Attendant and his name is Dauturu. As for his race… he is a Ghoul or a spectre as some would call it… yes he technically isn’t alive. And my name is Dabura; I am a Demon from another Realm adjacent to your own. It will be a pleasure doing business with you my dear boy.” And there it was set. Another Soul was brought into the House of Dabura, though this one was not to be destroyed and forced into an energy source as the others. Dabura found some worth in his livelihood and deemed him a precious commodity. Now they were truly set for finding this Tethering Soul. 5329 |

============ Grader's Notes: Interesting story line. I look forward to hearing about this Souless Voyager you intend to find. Aside from some grammatical stuff, if was well written. I just advise you to proofread where you use coding. There are blocks of text in color where you forgot to close the code. Not a big thing but it made reading a little awkward since you are using color for dabura's speech. ============ Word Count: 5329/5000 [ + 329 Over] Character Level: 2 =========== Base Rewards =========== Exp: +50 SP: +10 RP: +3 TP: N/A ================= +Word Count Rewards ================= Exp: N/A SP: N/A RP: N/A TP: ================= +Judge Bonus ================= Exp: N/A SP: 0 RP: 0 TP: =========== Total Rewards =========== Exp: +50 SP: +10 RP: +3 TP: Fatigue: 5% *Updated* |
