Chapter One: Kizura & Sanosuke’s Plot -1- Return To Base The encroaching arrival of Aisu weighed heavily on the young Saiyan’s soul. If there was anything Gohan wanted to prevent it was this. Aisu would reign down the very fires of hell and bathe this alien planet in the blood of its peaceful people. The mere thought of Aisu’s tyranny consuming the planet Gohan had come to love was maddening. While it was true that Gohan had grown tremendously since coming to the emerald sphere, he hadn’t grown strong enough. Gohan needed more power, both to take down Aisu and to protect his daughter in the coming future. It seemed that power and personal growth were two things Gohan would always be in search of, for both of them made it possible for him to protect that which was important. If Aisu had his way nothing would matter in this universe, the Icer would become an immortal terror. All would come to know the horrors of war, death and destruction. Everything hindered upon Gohan’s ability to grow and master his power. This was the first, and perhaps the final, foothold in the battle for the universe. Gohan stood upon a large cliff that overlooked the raging ocean. This place was Gohan’s favored spot in the village. Here he could train in near perfect solitude. Meditation had become something of great value to the hybrid. Unlike most people born of Saiyan blood, Gohan found it absolutely necessary to train his mind just as much as he trained his body. For without mental training he could never bring his body to harness the Ascended Super Saiyan power that slept within his core. The two needed to work in step with one another if Gohan were to ease the stress of his second transformation. A long and drawn out breath escaped the son of Goku as he drew his eyes to a close. The world around him became wreathed in darkness. Gohan retreated into the deep reaches of both his mind and his soul. The darkness of his inner world was slowly illuminated by a dim multi-colored light. Slowly but surely Gohan’s inner realm manifested before him and the Saiyan found himself in a rainbow colored nexus. Gohan had only been here once before, when he met with his future-self and attained the body he now lived his life in. This place was just as soothing and serene for the hybrid as it was when he came here the first time. Here Gohan could mentally train for hours while only minutes passed in the outside world. This was the perfect solitude the hybrid, and all those like him, sought after. Alright, time to get to work. Gohan thought as he touched down on the opaque ground. The Super Saiyan’s golden aura exploded around his body as his hair took on his aura’s coloration. Within an instant Gohan’s body took on the trademark features of a Super Saiyan. His muscles bulged, his hair and eyebrows turned gold and his eyes became an iconic cross between emerald and teal. Gohan’s aura began to expand as he drew out more of his Super Saiyan power. The Super Saiyan gritted his teeth together as he slightly bent his knees. He was preparing to blast off into the endless world around him. Now! Gohan thought as he lurched forward. The Saiyan traveled low to the ground as he accelerated. He quickly pulled upward and started to climb toward the multi-colored heavens. Gohan’s fists cut through the air as he ascended. Every strike was stronger and faster than the last. Every time Gohan’s fist cruised forward a gale force wind was sent ripping through the area. A novice fighter would’ve struggled to keep going, but Gohan was anything but a novice, he was far from breaking a sweat let alone losing his breath. Gohan rounded out his ascension with a spin kick. Alright time to really test my speed. Gohan thought as he turned his right palm upward. Particles of blue energy started to amass before his overturned palm. The distinctive hum of gathering energy filled the airways of Gohan’s inner realm. Slowly the gathering particles cultivated into a rotating sphere of sapphire energy. A half smile formed on the hybrid’s lips as the rotating mass reached peak conditions. The Super Saiyan raised his hand toward the sky and tensed muscles. With a brief cry the warrior released the sphere from his palm and let it speed into the seemingly endless sky. After waiting a few seconds and allowing the speeding sphere to get a ten mile lead, the son of Goku took off. Gohan’s aura burned around his body as he accelerated. With hardly any effort Gohan appeared above the sphere, and waited for it come within striking distance. The instant it did Gohan’s arm shot outward in a wide sweeping motion. The sapphire sphere grinded against his forearm before it was sent rocketing back toward to the ground. Gohan didn’t let the accelerating mass get too far before he chased after it, this time it took him a few extra seconds to get out in front of the rejected sphere. Unlike before, Gohan extended his left hand toward the incoming blast. It grinded into his exposed flesh, but was quickly snuffed out by the Super Saiyan as his digits collapsed around it. A distinct hiss was released from his barely singed flesh. Gohan’s attack was strong enough to take down each of the warriors he’d struggled with up until this point. Yet, the Super Saiyan was able to snuff it out with little to no effort all. Gohan couldn’t help but crack a smile at his growth. However, this level of power wasn’t enough. It was time to get back to training in the outside world. The time for mental training and visualization had long since passed. The illusionary world of light receded into the blackness from whence it came. The sensations of the outside world started to tug at the hybrid’s nervous system. Slowly Gohan’s eyes opened, and the serene ocean he loved so much came into view before him. Gohan looked back at the village of Lazarus as he his vision stabilized. The fond memories of his time with the villagers started to flash through his mind. Somehow the hybrid knew this may’ve been his last few moments in the village. The mission Gohan was about to embark on would be long and perilous. He needed to master the power of an Ascended Super Saiyan, and to that he needed to return to The Cursed Legion. If Gohan sought power and greater understanding of his own power, Kizura was just the man to see. Plus the alliance’s base had a gravity chamber. In Gohan’s new body training in the gravity chamber would yield even greater results than it had in the past. “Thank you all for everything.” Gohan said under his breath as he gave the place he’d called home one final glance. “I will do my to protect this planet, even if I have to give my life.” The hybrid said solemnly as he turned away from the village. Without taking another look the hybrid took to the skies, leaving behind Elder Argo and the people he’d come to know as his family. Post Word Count: 1,219 Total Word Count: 1,219/7,500 |

Chapter One: Kizura & Sanosuke’s Plot -2- In Preparation Gohan’s aura burned around his body as he traveled through the emerald skies. The Saiyan’s sapphire aura trailed behind him as if it were the exhaust of an accelerating jet. It streaked the emerald sky for a couple of seconds before it faded from existence. Even though returning to the headquarters didn’t sit well with the hybrid a smile still crossed his lips. Gohan was eager to return to gravity training, and to speak with Kizura about mastering the power of an Ascended Super Saiyan. The demon was a scientist prior to being a deadly swordsman, his knowledge of both the technical and the archaic arts was unmatched. Out of all of the members of The Cursed Legion, Kizura was the one Gohan trusted most. The red haired demon had the brightest mind. He could see a problem for what it really was, and he had the uncanny ability to against his nature without a second though. Gohan. Gohan’s voice called out to Gohan from within his mind. Kizura? The hybrid questioned as he slowed down. Ah perfect, it looks like that elder’s telepathy ability really works. Kizura responded with a laugh. I can see that you’re on your way back to the headquarters, however before you get here there are a couple of things I need to discuss with you. Kizura continued before Gohan could respond. The atmosphere of the conversation further slowed the hybrid. Gohan picked up on the gravity of the situation thanks to Kizura’s undeniably dark tone. At first the hybrid was going to remain silent, however his gut was already cluing him into what was to come. Just like Kizura, Gohan was planning to make some sort of move against The Cursed Legion. The son of Kakarot wasn’t exactly one for betrayal, but the situation called for it. Whatever Toshin planned for the future wasn’t best for the universe. Being a good will ambassador for a being who clearly had no good will was asinine to say the least. Let me guess. Gohan responded as he came to a complete stop. You’ve noticed that I’ve started to walk the path of good and want to help me leave the legion, correct? Gohan boldly questioned his comrade. The Super Saiyan’s skills of perception were just as great of Kizura’s own. That was part of why the duo got along as well as they did. Their minds worked in tandem with one another, both could read beyond the obvious without the slightest bit of probing. Oh my, you really do trust me don’t you? Kizura laughed. However, you are correct. I believe it is time for us to make a rather…significant change to things. Lord Sanosuke has already agreed to abandon Toshin and his petty ideals. Restoring Nishar is simply a pipe dream that will result in nothing but unnecessary war, death and destruction. I only wish to see the anomalies in this universe and you are such anomaly. The power that you harbor is interesting to say the least. Kizura’s grin carried through in his tone. The demon may’ve had something of a warped logic, but his value as an ally was anything but meager and ignorable. Heh, alright then. Gohan crossed his arms over his chest. So what will we do now? We still need to gather the two remaining Dragonballs. Also according to Elder Argo, Aisu will be touching down on Namek soon. Gohan informed his crimson haired ally. Gohan was eager to figure out the timetable for all these events and objectives. There was no telling when Aisu would arrive and rain hellfire down upon the peaceful Namekian home world. The answer to our time problem is simple my friend. Lord Sanosuke’s Ryuugan affords him a great deal of abilities. One of those abilities involves the bending of space and time itself. Lord Sanosuke’s Ryuugan can distort reality; alter one’s perception of time and it even allows him to cross dimensions as if it were nothing. He will delay Aisu’s arrival while you and I do what must be done. Until we gather the Dragonballs we cannot make our move. Once the dragon is summoned the first wish will be used for Daikon and Leon’s benefit, while the second wish will be yours for the taking. Kizura explained. What does Sanosuke want out of all of this? He wouldn’t just betray Toshin for mere fun of it would he? What he wants is simple. He’s going to use the residual energy of the Eternal Dragon to restore his son’s life and bring him into our dimension. Felix Cypher is his name. He was once a very powerful warrior. He was known as a Transcended Being, one of the last might I add. Once revived he’ll be far weaker, but at least he’ll be alive. Kizura explained. Like Gohan, Sanosuke cared deeply for his offspring. The demon lord would do whatever it took to see his son once again. The idea of betraying Toshin was well within the realm of possibility for Sanosuke, especially if it brought him what he desired most. A motive such as that was one that Gohan could trust without question. Alright then, so where do we begin? Gohan questioned as a grin spread across his lips. For now continue on your path back to base. You need to master that Ascended Super Saiyan form of yours. You and I can train in the gravity chamber, I think the key is overcoming the strain above all else. One of your strength should be able to pull that off. Kizura replied. Right. Gohan’s blue aura sparked to life around his body. I’m on my way. With that the son of Kakarot blasted off into the distance, his aura continued to trail behind him as he accelerated. A sense of excitement was boiling within the young warrior’s gut. Kizura was truly a noteworthy ally, one that Gohan could actually place his trust in. Hopefully their plan would go off without a hitch and the planet would be saved from the terror of Aisu’s wrath. Post Word Count: 1,021 Total Word Count: 2,240/7,500 |

Chapter One: Kizura & Sanosuke’s Plot -3- The Gravity Chamber The son of Kakarot touched down outside of the base, his raven eyes traced its immense infrastructure. Since leaving behind the headquarters the building had undergone a couple of renovations. It had grown in size and the archaic insignia of the Nisharian people had been painted upon the building’s face. The sight of the archaic symbol didn’t perturb the hybrid warrior too much; however he didn’t feel as if it applied to him anymore. The sense of unity Gohan once got from the air of the alliance had completely vanished. Now Gohan simply wanted to undo the alliance and bring forth a force for good. However, the hybrid needed to bide for more time. “Alright, here goes.” Gohan said under his breath as he walked through the building’s entrance. The door slid open as it picked up on his presence. An artificial voice resonated through the threshold; it welcomed Gohan back to base. Interestingly the building’s sensors were able to confirm that Gohan was the same teenager who’d left the building behind more than a month ago. Either Kizura updated the base’s systems, or everyone was already aware of Gohan’s physical changes. Whatever the case, Gohan was in the clear. If there was an issue, entering the base wouldn’t have been possible. The doors would have remained shut. “So, look who has finally decided to return to us.” The son of Toshin said as Gohan made his way toward the main corridor. “You spent all that time out there with the slug people we were starting to worry if you’d become one of them.” A sly grin formed on Damian’s ebony face as his eyes met with Gohan’s. Damian was clearly sitting on a well of information; however the question was what did he know that Gohan didn’t? Gohan’s eyes narrowed, “what do you want Damian?” The son of Kakarot kept from engaging the demon physically. There was no reason for them to come to blows, but the demon’s aggressive stance annoyed the hybrid. Gohan and Damian never got along in the first place. The son of Toshin hated the fact that Cell had been replaced by a boy. Plus Damian and Cell got along extremely well; their joint triumph over the Demon Lord Belial brought them together. The two were as close as brothers. However, that sort of relationship had no chance of forming between Gohan and Damian. Neither of them even wanted to be that close. “Oh nothing, nothing at all. I simply wanted to welcome the return of our prodigal son.” Damian laughed as he walked past Gohan. There was still no doubt that the demon was hiding something from Gohan. Sadly the hybrid lacked the ability to probe the minds of others, so far now the hybrid had to let things play out. Otherwise, he’d betray the hand that he, Kizura and Sanosuke had worked so carefully to pull together. Gohan continued to walk down the corridor, his destination was the all-too important gravity chamber. When Gohan was living within the confines of the base the gravity chamber was his favorite place to be. There he could train his body under the most hellish of conditions. Training himself under such conditions while in the state of an Ascended Super Saiyan would be interesting to say the least. The father’s Saiyan blood boiled in anticipation, he wanted nothing more than to test his body further. Up until now he’d done nothing but train his mind. That wasn’t to say that mental training wasn’t important. It was just his Saiyan side enjoyed physical training above all else. “Welcome my dear Gohan.” Wyndara, the ancient demoness, called out to Gohan as he came within visual range. For a moment Gohan lost sight of Wyndara, her body had shimmered away as if it were a mirage. “You’ve grown…quite nicely.” Wyndara licked her luscious purple lips as she pressed her hand against Gohan’s chest. The demoness gently caressed his pectorals as her eyes met with Gohan’s. “I am surprised that you came back to us my dear, we’d all feared that the people of Namek had tainted you with their misplaced kindness.” Wyndara whispered as she drew her lips close to Gohan’s own. “Tch, why would you think that.” Gohan let the expression of a true warrior cross his face as his tone hardened. “I’m simply doing what needs to be done in order to gather the Dragonballs and complete the plan.” Gohan pushed Wyndara as he stepped past her. The demoness’ touch didn’t tantalize him in the slightest. Of course, he couldn’t deny that she had a very voluptuous body; she was still far from Gohan’s ideal woman. In fact Gohan’s ideal woman had been lost to him long ago. “Well, even with an older body you fail to notice the advances of such a delicate woman.” Wyndara laughed as Gohan continued down the hall. “No, I simply don’t want your advances.” Gohan stopped in front of the chamber’s entrance. “I once had someone that I loved, but she’s dead and gone. I won’t be wasting my time and my emotions on one such as you. Now go and tell Toshin I’m back, I’m sure he has some words for me like the rest of you did.” Gohan didn’t bother looking back at the demoness; instead he opened the door to the gravity chamber. Wyndara’s interest in Gohan was purely physical. The demoness had no intentions of giving herself over to the Saiyan hybrid. If anything Wyndara wanted to bond with Toshin, however her status prevented such a union from even being considered. Instead the two demons had to settle on a union of their offspring. For Toshin that was Damian and for Wyndara that was Mania. The two youngsters got along extremely well, and created the sort of bond and relationship that Wyndara could only dream of having. So of course Wyndara could only grasp at having her physical needs fulfilled, but that opportunity presented itself once every blue moon. “Tch, still a useless prick.” Wyndara’s quickly became dark and twisted. “You’ll regret spurning me in such a way boy.” Wyndara spat as she turned away from Gohan. No Wyndara, you’ll regret walking the path you’ve chosen. Gohan thought as he entered the gravity chamber. The massive room was the same as it always was. At the center of the room was the chamber’s control panel that could descend into the floor once the chamber was activated. The tiles were blood red while the walls were a near paper white. Gohan took a deep breath as he let the air of his long lost home fill his lungs. This place was perfect, it was the only part of the base Gohan still respected. “Alright Kizura, are you ready to begin!” Gohan called out to his invisible comrade. “What sharp senses you have my friend.” Kizura laughed as his body started to materialize across from the son of Goku. “My, your very presence has grown more intense.” The demon grinned as his body solidified. “Fighting you in such a state will be no easy task, but if it brings you greater control that is all that matters.” Kizura turned toward the chamber’s control panel. “Heh, I’ve gained quite a few techniques since you last saw me. I guess I can give you a preview of what I’ll be using to destroy Aisu.” Gohan said as he slowly spread his legs shoulder width apart. “I’d imagine so my friend. I’ve seen some of the battles you’ve undergone since you left. Now it is time to see your progress for myself. We’ll be starting things off at twenty times normal gravity.” Kizura said as he began pressing buttons on the control panel. A distinct hum filled the chamber as the gravity chamber started up. The control panel began to descend into the floor as the atmospheric pressure increased ever so slightly. Gohan and Kizura felt the weight of their bodies increase, however they remained unfazed. Both warriors had grown in strength, being twenty times heavier was hardly an issue. The artificial voice at the helm of the gravity controls confirmed that everything was set. “Alright then Kizura, let’s get started.” Gohan said as he slid into a combat stance. The young warrior’s raven eyes remained trained on his demonic foe. “Yes, let us begin!” Kizura roared as he darted toward Gohan, his white aura burned around his body as he accelerated. The instant Kizura came within striking range, Gohan’s left fist shot forward. The hybrid was aiming to crash his extending fisticuff into Kizura’s forehead. However, the demon was no fool. Kizura’s forearm rose to greet Gohan’s fist. Upon impact a thundering crack was sent rippling through the dense airways. Kizura’s boots touched down on the concrete as he sent his other fist toward Gohan’s torso. Just like Kizura, Gohan took defensive action. The demon’s strike collided with Gohan’s free arm. For a moment they held their deadlock, but after a few seconds they broke apart by kicking away from one another. Heh, he’s not bad at all. Gohan thought as his sapphire aura flourished around his body. Time to see how he handles things when I turn up the heat a little bit. The hybrid thought as he flexed his muscles and allowed his power level to go on the rise. Without warning the two fighters vanished from the realm of visibility and began darting around the room like madmen. Every so often they’d cross paths and their fists or their knees could collide with one another, sending plasmatic sparks through the chamber. Despite the increased gravity both Gohan and Kizura moved about as if it were perfectly normal. Their increased power levels were nothing to be scoffed at or ignored. The duo was even more powerful than the other members of the alliance could’ve possibly expected. Kizura was a scientist. He shouldn’t have risen to the level of an A-Class demon. It was absurd. Crack! Kizura’s fist broke through Gohan’s defenses and collided with the father’s temple. Gohan’s head whipped back as he prevented himself from being launched across the chamber. The hybrid clenched his teeth and rolled his right hand into a fist and moved to make a counterattack. Well before the demon could conceive a reaction, Gohan’s fist crashed into Kizura’s facemask. The demon released a pained gack as his head whipped backward. However, just like Gohan he prevented himself from being uprooted. Kizura responded with a strike of his own, and his impacted with Gohan’s ribcage, forcing the Saiyan to release a slew of salvia from his mouth. At this point neither warrior was putting an ounce of energy into their defense. They were simply trading blow for blow. Post Word Count: 1,802 Total Word Count: 4,042/7,500 |

Chapter Two: A True Super Saiyan -1- The Dragon’s Eye The leader of the Hitori clan stepped onto the hard blue soil, his stone eyes wandered toward the peaceful emerald sky. This was the first time Sanosuke had touched down on the home of the Namekian people. Never before did the hybrid think he’d bring himself to such an unpopulated planet. The demon couldn’t help but laugh, he was willing to go quite far for his entrapped offspring. Felix Cypher, his true name being Ryuunosuke Hitori, had become the center of Sanosuke’s world. The Transcended Being was Sanosuke’s only and perfectly ideal son. The life that Felix led prior to his untimely death was one that any father would be proud of. Like Sanosuke, Felix had the ability to use godly eye techniques. However, eye technique s weren’t the source of Felix’s immense power. The transcended warrior could warp reality with a thought, his power was beyond expansive. Of course, bringing the deceased warrior into this dimension would gravely weaken him; at least Felix would be alive. The son of Sanosuke would be able to train under the Ascended Super Saiyan who’d gained so much recognition from Kizura. “It won’t be long now my son.” Sanosuke’s stone eyes were slowly consumed by the archaic design of the Ryuugan. The Dōjutsu’s purple light brightened as the Hitori began to call upon its near limitless powers. The atmospheric pressure around the hybrid increased with each passing second. Slowly Sano brought his hands together in order to create the sign of the snake. With a grunt the shinobi let his hands part ways only to bring them together again in the seal of the tiger, which was followed by the ox hand seal. Finally Sanosuke completed the chain by creating the ram hand seal. Sanosuke’s eyes widened as a gust of wind swept past the clan leader. The emerald sky distorted as the clouds began to spiral together as if they were being forced down a drain. The entire world was put on hold as an invisible barrier began to consume the entire planet. The flux of time was being alerted by Sanosuke’s all-seeing Ryuugan. Sanosuke’s clenched his teeth together as he forced more of his power into his expanding technique. The barrier was moments away from completely encompassing the planet. “Finally…it’s done.” Sanosuke sighed as his hands parted and his arms fell to his side. “That was slightly easier than I expected it to be.” The ninja said as a labored breath escaped him. Sweat was starting to drip from his brow and collect in the rim of his cloth mask. “Well, if it isn’t Sanosuke.” Toshin’s demented voice came from behind the Ryuugan bearer. “Is this all a part of your foolish plan to betray me?” Toshin questioned as his former comrade slowly turned around. “Betray you?” Sanosuke raised a brow as he looked over the Makaioshin. “Heh, you’ve seen through it all haven’t you?” Sanosuke asked rhetorically as he dropped his confused façade. “Well I’m glad that I brought this.” The hybrid grinned as his left foot slide forward and his right hand fell upon the blade sheathed at his rear waistband. “It is a pity.” Toshin sighed as he uncrossed his arms. “I was hoping we’d never come to be on the opposite ends of the spectrum.” The Makaioshin’s jagged blade appeared in his extended right hand. The demon’s bat-like wings spanned outward and a hellacious howling wind was sent toward Sanosuke. “Well, you’re the one who took away Felix.” Sanosuke drew the infamous Yoko Yaiba as he spoke. “Did you think I wouldn’t find out? I only became your ally to make it easier to break into that mind of yours. The more you began to trust me, the easier me it became for these eyes of mine to see into your thoughts.” The hybrid explained as his expression hardened. Revenge wasn’t something the hybrid was intending on pursing initially, but now he had no choice. Battling the leader of the Nisharian people would be no easy fight; that much was certain. It didn’t help that Sanosuke had just spent a great deal of energy placing the planet under a time and space barrier either. “Well you’re the perceptive one my friend. I never dreamed you’d piece it all together. Still your son’s transcended power served its purpose. Without it none of what you see before you would’ve been possible. Felix was too weak to keep his coveted power, so I took it for myself.” Toshin howled with laugher as his dark red aura formed around his towering form. “You were only able to kill him because of what you did to Laura. She was his only weakness. I will never forgive you for what you did to her either. She was like the daughter Luna and I never had.” Sanosuke tightened his grip on his straight sword. “That human?” Toshin laughed. “You believed that human to be a suitable daughter!? How pathetic! I had regrets about doing this, but seeing as you’re far from perfect you’re no longer worth my time! Your demon blood has been tainted by that human stink; I will show you the error of your ways here and now!” The Makaioshin declared as he lurched forward. The ground beneath his feet cracked and collapsed upon itself as Toshin pushed off the ground. Tch, even after such a technique I can follow your movements. Sanosuke thought as his Ryuugan perceived Toshin’s movements with ease. The half-breed son stepped forward and guided his blade into the path that Toshin’s own would soon enter. The instant the two blades came into contact with one another, Sanosuke’s free hand collided with the dead center of Toshin’s frame. A roar escaped Sanosuke’s as his dark purple aura exploded around his body. “Burning Fang!” Sanosuke declared as his fist became consumed by a vermillion light. Sanosuke’s fist continued to climb upward as the white hot energy he’d cultivate grew brighter and expanded in size. Before Toshin could react to the pain that now surged through his nervous system the collected energy exploded outward. Toshin was sent rocketing into the emerald sky by the unrelenting force of the expanding explosion. The burning heat traveled outward, and outward alone. The ground beneath and behind Sanosuke remained unscathed by the hellish flames. When Toshin came to the height of his forced ascension Sanosuke appeared in the air above Toshin. Without pause the hybrid brought his left foot straight into the base of Toshin’s boney spine. A pained gack escaped Toshin as his crimson form was sent crashing into the terra firma below. Upon impact a billowing cloud of smoke and debris was sent toward the Namekian heavens. “I know you’re not dead Toshin, you cannot hide from these eyes of mine.” Sanosuke said as he slowly descended toward the ground. “Get up so I can end this.” The hybrid said solemnly. Despite the hate that burned within the hybrid he kept his emotions from driving his actions. Sanosuke was able to keep a relatively cool head. If he gave into his hatred and anger then restoring the life of his son would become impossible. A laugh emanated from the dwindling cloud of debris. Toshin slowly pulled himself from the crater his impact had created. The winged Makaioshin’s laughter grew louder and became more twisted as he walked out into the open. A crimson light continued to emanate from his vermillion eyes. Toshin’s aura didn’t fade; it still burned around his built form. “Impressive Sanosuke, very impressive.” The demon said as he looked down at the wounds that riddled his arms and torso. “However, let’s see if those eyes of yours are as great as we all believe them to be. Once I kill you I can take them for myself.” Toshin pointed his blade toward Sanosuke as he allowed his devious grin to widen. “Go ahead and try it. You’re already dead. Your fate was sealed the moment you set foot on this battlefield.” Sanosuke’s aura crackled around his body as his power level climbed once again. Black bio-electric sparks danced through the hybrid’s aura as he prepared for round two. Post Word Count: 1,369 Total Word Count: 5,411/7,500 |

Chapter Two: A True Super Saiyan -2- Super Saiyan Training Kyah! An invisible blast connected with the dead center of Kizura’s chest. The demon’s body was sent crashing into the other side of the gravity chamber. The wall’s surface cracked upon impact, for a brief moment Kizura was wedged in the metal surface. Cursing the demon freed himself and charged toward his transformed foe. Gohan had already taken on the initial Super Saiyan transformation, and his increased power was proving to be far greater than even Kizura’s expectations. However, both warriors knew that Gohan had more power. The son of Kakarot had yet to reveal what it meant to become a Super Saiyan Two. That was when things would really become intense, and that was what both warriors wanted. Gohan needed to unleash his full power and harness it, to use it as a tool and bring it under his complete control just as he had the first transformation. “Not bad Gohan, that Kiaiho of yours is as powerful as ever.” Kizura wiped away the blood that had collected at the corner of his lip. However, you still have to break through and ascend once more.” The demon said as he held his right hand off to the side. The face mask Kizura usually wore broke long ago. For the first time Kizura was able to look into the eyes of his comrade without the tinted vision of his mask. Seeing Gohan’s power for himself put him in state similar to that of ecstasy. The demon scientist turned warrior was enjoying this quite a bit. “Now then, let us continue.” Kizura said as the famed demon blade appeared in his right hand. It was a weapon he’d constructed for himself, it was born of the greatest metals of demon world and it was bound to his cursed energy. “You’re right Kizura. Perhaps it is time I stop holding back.” Gohan said under his breath as he spread his legs even further apart and crossed his arms over his chest. Slowly Gohan hunched forward and brought his crossed arms into his line of sight. The ground beneath Gohan’s feet began to tremble as orange plasmatic sparks crackled around his body. Gohan’s golden aura appeared after three distinctive flashes, it was like an engine that couldn’t decide if it wanted to work or not. A growl escaped the hybrid’s throat as he started to reach into the well of power deep within his very core. The hybrid’s hair became influenced by some unknown wind as it swayed back and forth. Gohan tightened his fists as his power level continued to rise. The orange sparks that crackled off his muscles quickly became a sky blue and expanded in thickness. Gohan’s growl quickly turned into a full on yell as he forcibly uncrossed his arms and brought them out to each side of his body. A blinding white and gold light consumed the gravity chamber as Gohan’s power peaked. The tiles that made up the chamber floor broke away from their cement bonds and started to defy gravity. The pressure created by Gohan’s transformation had greatly surpassed the pressure of the increased gravity. The sound of crackling electricity echoed throughout the chamber as the once blinding light dimmed. Slowly Gohan’s transformed state was revealed to Kizura and all those who dared to watch their confrontation. Gohan’s expression had become more warrior-like. There wasn’t a hue of innocence in his expression. The hybrid’s strength was beyond great. This was the form Kizura had wanted to see and this was the form Gohan would need in order to conquer the dreaded Aisu. “Alright then Kizura. What do ya say? How about we get this party started.” Gohan grinned as he crackled his knuckles. Gohan’s aura continued to rage around his body. “Such impressive power…” Kizura gawked as he tightened his grip on his blade. “I wasn’t expecting to see this much of a power increase. Well let’s see how long you can maintain that form.” Kizura said as he pointed his blade toward the Ascended Super Saiyan. “Right, that is the goal after all.” Gohan said as he inched forward. In unison the two warriors broke from their positions and charged toward one another. Their bodies collided within the following instant, they’d both attempted to shoulder ram one another. Neither party budged, they quickly parted from their stalemate only to ram their fists into one another next. Snickering Kizura retracted his fist and brought his blade into an upward arc in an attempt to cut through the hybrid. Gohan saw the demon’s move coming from a mile away and avoided being dismembered. The Super Saiyan slammed his elbow into Kizura’s wrist and forced the demon to stumble due to the sudden shift in his weight. Taking advantage of the opportunity the son of Chi-Chi pivoted on his right foot and wheeled his left knee straight into Kizura’s side. A pained cry escaped the demon as he felt his flesh contorted. The crimson warrior was sent tumbling across the worn ground. As Kizura stabbed his blade into the ground in order to stop himself from colliding with the chamber wall, Gohan raised his hand toward Kizura’s form. Particles of sapphire energy began to amass before Gohan’s extended palm. The distinct hum of building Ki resonated along the airways as the cultivating particles became a glistening sphere of energy. Gohan’s eyes remained trained on the bloodied demon. “Heh well this is what I wanted to see.” Kizura wheezed as he clambered to his feet. “Alright then Gohan show me what that attack of yours can do.” The demon grinned as he pulled his blade from the ground. Kizura’s aura became a tainted black as it formed around his body. The demonic aura that pervaded the warrior started to enclose around his dual colored sword. “Good luck.” Gohan said under his breath as the energy he’d cultivated reached its peak. Suddenly the orb of energy shot forth from Gohan’s hand. It was discharged in the form of an expanding energy wave; it ripped into the tile flooring as it neared Kizura. The sapphire beam collided with Kizura’s blade. That blade was the only thing that kept from the demon from being consumed by the sapphire energy wave. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that Gohan’s attack had the potential to completely eradicate the demon. However, Kizura’s aura laced blade shielded him from that terrible fate. It took all of Kizura’s might to keep Gohan’s attack at bay. It was clear if Kizura managed to survive this, this fight was over. The demon would be left drained and Gohan would need to continue on his own. Post Word Count: 1,117 Total Word Count: 6,528/7,500 |

Chapter Two: A True Super Saiyan -3- The Death of A Makaioshin Ting! Sanosuke’s blade grinded into Toshin’s own; sparks danced off the two weapons as they contested one another. The ground beneath the two warriors cracked apart as Toshin and Sanosuke’s auras expanded. The two demon warriors moved at speeds that encroached upon that of light. Each time their blades came together the rock formations, trees and other pieces of the land were purely erased from existence. Both warriors commanded enough power to consume the entire universe. While it was true Sanosuke hadn’t been granted the title of Makaioshin, there was no doubt he was as powerful as one. The shinobi’s Ryuugan, his shinobi skills, his combat experience and just his overall tenacity was immeasurable. For eons Toshin had made the mistake of underestimating Sanosuke’s true potential, he’d never given the shinobi the credit he deserved. Now, and only now, was Toshin being brought up to speed. The truth of Sanosuke’s strength was beyond frightening. The power that Toshin believed himself to have wasn’t nearly as great as he boasted. However, that was simply because of Sanosuke’s unique and rather deceptive ability. Izanami! Sanosuke thought as his eyes widened and the design of his Ryuugan expanded. The world around Sanosuke and Toshin entered a state of slow motion, or bullet time. The colors of the realm the two did battle in started to mesh together into a mass of black, white and red. The sky started to break apart and the smell of blood started to fill the air. The world around Sanosuke and Toshin broke into a rain of particles, entrapping the duo in a pitch black void. Slowly that dark void became the visage of the Namekian plains. The damage that Sanosuke and Toshin had wrought in that other world had been repaired. Sanosuke stood before Toshin unscathed; however Toshin on the other hand wasn’t so lucky. The demon’s arms hung by his sides and his eyes had been drawn to a close. Shallow breaths escaped the unconscious Makaioshin. The demon was riddled with wounds; his purple plasma flowed from the lacerations that spanned across his body. “I told you this was over the moment you looked into my eyes didn’t I?” The hybrid said to himself as he eyed the immobile Makaioshin. “You’ve been trapped within the depths of your mind; you’ll continue to face me in a never-ending battle. Every time you think you’ve found a way out, a new set of illusions will come before you.” Sanosuke explained as he tightened his grip on his blade. “However, lucky for you, I won’t allow to be trapped forever. Instead I’ll be taking your life as penance for what you’ve done to my son.” Sanosuke said as his blade became wrapped in the black flames of the immortal sun goddess, Amaterasu. Without wasting any more time the hybrid swung his blade through Toshin’s body. As the blade moved through Toshin’s flesh, the black flames of the goddess consumed the demon. One would think that a demon of Toshin’s caliber would go unscathed by the infernal flames, but that was the farthest thing from the truth. The flames of lady Amaterasu had the power to burn through anything, even other flames. Nothing could compare to these cursed flames, and in Toshin’s immobile state death was certain. Within a matter of moments there was nothing left of Toshin, his entire body had been dragged into the proverbial void. While Sanosuke’s and Toshin’s conflict came to its indisputable end, another conflict drew to a close. Kizura had been put out of commission; his blade prevented him from losing his life. However, it didn’t stop him from losing consciousness. Gohan left Kizura laid out on the ground, leaving the gravity chamber wasn’t an option for the Saiyan. Instead Gohan spent his time moving around the chamber. His fists cut through the dense air with ease; each strike was faster and more powerful than the last. The increased gravity was frankly nothing to the Ascended Super Saiyan, but then, that was to be expected. Gohan had increased his power three fold after all. This feels easier already. Maybe the key isn’t just staying in this form for prolonged periods of time, but actually taking this form more and more often. Even transforming was easier than usual. Gohan thought as he pulled his fist back from its most recent venture outward. Sorry to just leave you there Kizura, but like you said mastering this power of mine is the only way I’ll be able to stop Aisu and prevent this planet from being completely destroyed. The Super Saiyan thought as he performed a well-timed roundhouse kick. “Kyah!” Gohan shouted as he extended his left hand and fired off a Kiaiho toward the wall across from him. The invisible blast connected with the metallic surface causing it to bend and contort and nearly break apart completely. “Well that took a little more control than I thought it would.” Gohan laughed to himself as he lowered his arm and took on a more relaxed stance. The training was relatively concluded, there wasn’t much else the hybrid needed. Any pain or tiredness he was experiencing had nothing to do with his transformation. “Alright then, I should take Kizura to the healing chambers then.” Gohan said as he looked toward his fallen comrade. “Computer, return gravity levels to normal!” Gohan shouted his command as he walked toward the battle ravaged Kizura. Returning gravity levels to normal. The female A.I said as the control panel rose from the center of the chamber. The gravity returned to normal almost instantly and the atmospheric pressure returned to relative normalcy. “Alright Kizura, it’s time for you to get healed up my friend.” Gohan said as he picked up his comrade. Gohan remained in his transformed state; the thought of returning to normal hadn’t even crossed his mind. Finally that part of things was said and done; Gohan was one step closer to being able to face Aisu.
