Do you think that He will begin by making a list of things you need to change before He becomes your friend? "First, go do this. Then, after that, there are several more things that you have messed up in your life that I can not do anything with until you get these things taken care of.. " No, this is not true. The first thing He wants is you. He wants you to draw near. He promises that if you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you.
