Advanced Member Posts: 92 Group: Members Member #47 Joined: December 12, 2004	Just wanted to add this: Our corn harvest is done and we got 11 bushels out of it, gave away 4 bushels to needy neighbors and family. Our potato harvest was amazing this year too! Our usual little tennis ball sized potatoes were mostly the size of baking potatoes. Now as for the tomatoes, we are going on our 4th bushel of harvest. We have given away about two bushels of that, eating and freezing the rest. That's not counting the squash, eggplant, and cucumbers we've picked. We gave away bushels to people at church and to the local senior citizens meals program. In a year of overly abundant rain which has ruined a lot of our neighbors' gardens, the Lord has really blessed us! I thank the Lord for such bounty and blessings! I am reminded of Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
