Hi, I don't know what's next! But I know the Lord gives great "surprises!"

I know I testify a lot about nature but here in the booniesof the Ozarks, I am surrounded by it. I hope it doesn't bore anyone!

So here goes again: Another testimony! (I email a friend who says I need to write a book about all this, Haha.)

Saturday, my husband and I were hard at work, mowing the yard and then he took the tractor and was brush-hogging the field and around the pond near our house. After six hours of work, we had gotten everything done.

Sunday morning, we were searching for our peahen and her 3 babies before church. We looked around the house where she usually hangs out and no peacock babies. So Dennis went down into the woods and then decided to search around the pond.

When he was walking around the pond, he stepped on something. Looking down he realized he had just stepped on a big copperhead snake. :eek
He jumped back and stood there staring at the snake and thanking God that he didn't get bit. That's when he noticed that the snake wasn't moving. Upon further investigation, he saw that the snake didn't have a head. Dennis had killed the snake the day before when he was brushhogging.

Now, the world would say that that was just a coincidence but I know the prayers we pray for protection everyday whether on the highway or just hanging out around the house. God sees past, present and future and knew exactly when Dennis would place his foot in that spot. One of Dennis's favorite Psalms is 91. And this passage of it fits to a tee: 11. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Thank you, Lord, for Your divine protection! You know where each footstep will take us and you prepare the way before us! I give You all the praise and glory for keeping us safe! Amen

God bless,
Chris

PS. Now one of these days, I'll testify about our BEAR incident that happened 2 weeks ago!!!!!!! :wasacloseone

PSS. The peacock hen and babies showed up right after Dennis told me about the snake.
