Jn 14.9 If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. Jesus only pleased the Father. Everything Jesus said and did as it is recorded in the Bible is a direct revelation of the will of God for all people for all time.We are looking at His will for all people for all time. The revealed will of God. In Mark 1.40, take note of the leper man. He knew Jesus could heal him. I am sure that he had heard all about Jesus, so he knew that Jesus had the power to heal. He really wanted healed. He hurt everyday, and every hour of the day. He wanted healed so bad that he broke the rules and came into contact with 'clean' people. These clean people were ones who were not leprous. In the law, the leper was forbidden to come into the public and expose others. So, the leper came to Jesus knowing He could heal him, but did not know if Jesus would. He was considered the scourge of the world, rejected, shunned, and put out of the normal population. Why would he think Jesus would accept him? Yet, he was drawn by hope. A hope of being accepted and healed. A hope of a normal life again. A hope so strong inside that it overcame all of the normal inhibitions. He said, "If you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus said in return, "I am willing, be clean." The scriptures show us that Jesus was moved with compassion. His heart was touched. When we suffer, Jesus is touched in His heart concerning each of us. In this small little illustration of the healing of this leper, we can see the heart of Jesus is that we are clean, free from sickness and other issues that hinder our freedom we have been given. But, you know, when the leper went to Jesus, he did not know that Jesus wanted to heal him. What if he never sought Jesus out and remained a knower that Jesus 'could heal', but never learned that Jesus 'wanted to heal'? He would have never been healed. Many of us know Jesus can heal, but do you know that He wants to? It is His will that each of us be clean, whole, complete, and unhindered by the sickness and diseases that ravage through mankind. Do you think that it is Jesus' will that in the last years of a life that the elderly die of illness? Stealing from them all their dignity, finances, and energy? It is not. What about young children? Is it Jesus' will that they suffer? No. It is not His will that anyone be taken with sickness or disease. We are redeemed from the curse of this earth, free from the bondage the enemy has in the world, and free to walk clean of all these things. Bring your questions to Jesus and hear Him say.. "I am willing," and then receive His touch. ----- Job 42.10 The Lord turned Job's captivity when he prayed for his friends and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. The Garden of Eden is the prototype for us to plumb all things against. It represents the Will of God, and all other short comings reveal the damage of the adversary.
