Q1. I heard about Christians struggling with some kinds of spirit
within them. And while receiving deliverance prayers, these Christians
cried out with strange noises. Others are saying that the "un-clean"
spirits within these Christians are coming out. I do not understand
how can these un-clean spirits get into these Christians and remain in
them?

The Scriptural position is very clear: Christians cannot be possessed
in their spirits (for the Holy Spirit lives within) but they can be
obsessed or oppressed (which is the domain of the soul and the body).
As to the 'manifestations' and 'deliverances' which seem to come from
'within' a Christian they are caused from two factors:

1.      From a soul response to a demonic oppression (from without).
The soul can be easily influenced by external spiritual forces when it
believes the wrong things or give in to the wrong things.  Remember
how easily Peter moved from being inspired by the Spirit of God to
declare Jesus as the Christ to being an instrument of Satan being
rebuked by Jesus in Matthew 16. In fact from the Spiritual World
perspective, spiritual forces can influenced souls (which are
susceptible to them and their frequencies) even from a vast
geographical distance and make it look like it is within a person. Our
human concepts of distance, place and time does not carry into the
spiritual realm.

2.      Usually the entrance of demonic influence is through a flaw
in the emotional aspects of the soul or through the wrong belief of
the mind. When deliverance is performed the section of the emotion or
the mind is being affected and there can be manifestations/physical
effects upon the physical body that look like the demon is inside a
person. One example I can give is like the radio, television or
telephone, the voice or physical manifestation of the program we are
hearing seem to come from within the radio, television or phone but
the actual broadcast station can be far away geographically. The wrong
interpretation of Christians who form wrong theology that Christians
can have demons is due to their dependence on empirical evidence for
their theology rather than on Scriptures. It is the same dependence on
sensed-based empirical evidence that leads people to believe that it
is the sun that revolves round the earth.

Q2. We have heard about split [or dual] personalities of a person for
a long time. Recently I heard from a close friend that his spouse is
struggling with dual personalities in her. Both of them are believers.
What is the spiritual truth in this aspect?

Within each of us are multiple aspects of soul capabilities and
abilities which in this life only a small aspect is visible. Even the
fact that we have a perfectly functional left and right brain should
tell us that there is within each of us multiple aspects of self and
self-awareness. The act of reasoning involves different aspects of our
consciousness focusing thoughts. As such, sometimes people who have
damages to their emotional or mind display multiple personalities
because they cannot harmonise all aspects of their potential beings.
Not all multiple personalities is demonic, a great number of them are
soul-mind based. Even in the physical realm there is aspects of the
'ghost hand' where the right and left brain have been severed from
communicating with each other - and this is purely a physically caused
phenomena due to communication lines being broken in the physical
body. Where demons possessed a person, there can be multiple
personalities displayed but not all multiple personalities are
necessarily demonic. If you read the Psalms, you can see the various
soul aspects of David's personalities wrestling within his
consciousness.
