"But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah), the Anointed One) died for us. Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ's blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God." Romans 5:8-9 For those who have not seen "The Passion of the Christ", our suggestion would be for you to go see it. Once you have you will see and understand clearly how much God loves us! For Him to send His Son to die for our sins and suffer as Jesus did, there can be no doubt in our minds how great His love is towards us. Our sins did not keep Him from loving us. He loved us even while we were sinners and wanted to embrace us but the only way this could be done was by having His Son being the Sacrificial Lamb, once and for all. Jesus paid the price. Done deal. We were bought by God and washed by the blood of the Lamb, cleansed unto righteousness. Hallelujah! We became born again, born of incorruptible seed, the seed of God in Christ in us. And that is what God sees. He is mindful of our weak flesh but He does not look at the outward man but the inner man, the man who is born of His seed through Christ Jesus, sons and daughters of the most High God. That truth should set our feet to dancing and our hearts soaring with joy! Praise be to God! He loves us and His plans for us are for good and not for harm. Let us know with a certainty that He who sent His Son to die for our sins will also keep us from His indignation and wrath! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Father! |

:lol: Amen! I too have seen the movie, The Passion, and still feel the effects of watching and seeing what Jesus went through for our sakes... His determination to carry out the suffering by crawling on that cross himself and not giving into the defeat of the scourging, but again rising again to fullfill His purpose, was amazing... Just think, we often are so hesitant to expose our hearts to those around us, for fear that we will get hurt, but our Father chose us to give us His heart knowing beforehand that we would hurt him beyond anything we could ever imagine.. Praise the Lord for His mercy and grace that He has given us. Thank you for sharing your heart with us.... Blessings to you Kay |
