"What then shall we say to [all] this? If God be for us, who [who can] be against us? {Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?} He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other]things?" Romans 8:31-31 When I typed these words this morning I thought of the many trials that seem to be facing the dear children of God. Brother Justin had just posted a prayer request for a brother, Mr. Wang, in China. Many prayer requests have been coming in. Each of us know of loved ones, friends, family, who are facing difficult times. Then to come in to read the Scripture the Lord gave my husband this morning, I knew the Lord wanted us to be safe and secure in Him. God is for us! He is not against us, He does not leave us helpless in any situation we might face. Just as He provided a way for us to come to Him through His Son Jesus Christ when we could not do it on our own, He will always provide a way for us to come through life's situation. But we have to believe this is so. Just as we cannot be reunited to Him through the blood of the Lamb which saved us unless we believe, neither can we overcome each situation that comes our way unless we believe that He has made us overcomers through Christ Jesus! God as provided the Way! He has freely and lovingly given us His Son as the propiation for our sins what makes us think that He will not provide us a way out or through each thing that comes our way! Lord God, Your Word is true. You are not a man that You should lie. Let these Words sink deep into our spirit and become alive and vital within us. Help us to recognize that You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Let us walk boldly forth as the sons and daughters of the most High God, having Jesus as our banner, the Holy Spirit as our guide and You as our Abba Father Whom we might bless by living our lives according to Your Word and Your will, in Jesus' name. Amen. |

Aye... And we believe by the renewing of our minds with the Word of God. Ps 17:4 says, "... by the Word of Thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer." By His directions, and by His promises, we are safe and secure in Him. Thank You Jesus for Your words that bear Light on the truth of Your ways. Shalom stacie |
