Dear friends, My wife, Linda, and I have been traveling the country for most of the last 4 yrs. I do conrtract work in hospitals as a nuclear medicine technologist. However, this constant traveling DOES get old. We move about every 8-13 weeks! I will not go into all of the logistics, but we originally sold our furniture and many of our things and went out GOING to where we did not know. We left our children and grandchildren behind and have been moving for the last 5 yrs. We did stay in a few place a couple of times, but always we knew we had to go on. However, it now seems that our time of wandering may be coming to an end. We have been given the opportunity to buy a vehilce next month, and I have made my resume available online. Please understand that I did this because Linda and I prayed about it and we both SEPARATELY felt that we should REALLY begin to look for a permanent place. Well, yesterday, after several strange circumstances (hmm, could this be God?) I had a phone interview with the director of a xray department where I could very wel work. We talked on the phone for nearly an HOUR! Everything she said to me and I said to her, was in agreement with each other. We both have similar ideas and habits of treating patients and personnel in a department. Now, so you know, I have worked in my field for OVER 27 yrs and am quite well versed in it, to a point where I manage a department and personnel. It now looks as though this hospital will be asking me to have a face-to-face interview in the near future. This hospital is close to Linda's folks and sister (she and her husband have started a home church near to where we would be living!) We do NOT want to rely on circumstances. We WANT to do God's will! We could NOT ask for a more perfect place to settle down in the natural. We may very soon be invited to live in Panama CIty, Florida. PLEASE, we do not want to be moved by what we see. We want God's will. However, at this time, it looks as though God's will and the circumstances are moving in line with each other. This job opportunity happened in a matter of 3 days. You have no idea how fast that is, but we do and it is phenomenal. One other time has this happened to me and that was when we left Texas and lived with Linda's folks in Albany, Ga for a while. I walked into a local hospital and was hired the same day as the chief tech. Normally, this take 2-4 weeks. That job in ALbany was a blessing that enabled us to go to bible school and to get the idea of doing travel work plus several other blessing that we do not have time for. Now it looks as though the Lord is bringing us to rest, FINALLY. We covet your prayers about this situation. We are asking God's perfect will over this. We do not want to go there just because it seems like a nice place with a good job. We want to KNOW that it is His will. We think it is His will, but we would like a little more confirmation. Please pray about this situation as the Lord leads you. Thank you all sooo much!!! God Bless you a bondslave in Christ Jesus, Dirk |

Yes We will pray for you and your wife, that the Lord may bless, direct and give you His wisdom and the knowing beyond a shadow of doubt what His will is for you both... In the natural, sounds like a great place to work and "settle". But again, yes we will pray for you both.. Blessings to you, Kay |
