Blessings all It is not easy for me to come and ask you to pray for me...but I need each of you to pray if you will. I have come to a place in many areas of my life that I have been believing Him for and praying on for for so long ...years.... and I am just tired. I feel as if my prayers are not even getting past my nose let alone to His ears and I know this is not truth. I see so many testify to the answered prayer in their lives and yet here I am waiting to 'see' the answers to my prayers manifest. I am weary and at this point am seriously feeling what is the use nothing changes. Truth is I am just plain discourgaed about just about every area of my life right now and I am tired. I am tired of loosing and not winning. I am tired of standing alone and on the promises only to be left out and behind. I need God to move. I need Him to move here or move me, I am hanging on with but a thread knowing by faith He is truth and He is there. I beleive He has heard my prayers and they have been answered but I just am not experiencing it or seeing it yet. Just help me hang on a little longer, I know the breakthrough has to be coming...it just has to be coming. I appreciate it. Be Blessed all of you Barb |

Preious Barb, Know that you are not alone and that you are being lifted in prayer and have been. Billy and I are in a state of "frustration" in many areas. Truth be known, we don't know exactly what the Lord wants us to do at this time! That is probably one reason I did not answer your last email. I'm not certain what we are to be doing today, never mind in the future!!! Funny, but I know we are not the only ones who are going through a tough time. That is why I posted what I did in "Over the Counter". I know there are many out there who are going through the same thing. Just yesterday our pastor was talking how they had a monthly meeting with pastors this past week and all the pastors are going through times of frustration and wanting to give it all up cause it doesn't seem like they are getting anywhere. Barb, you are in good company and, as you can see, are not alone. If nothing else, embrace the cross that is before you and trust the Lord for the resurrection and fulfilling of His plans for you that is just ahead. God bless you Barb. I send my love and His. The Lord loves you so much and He is so delighted that you have been striving to walk in His ways. Don't give up yet, o.k.? There is a rainbow that awaits just beyond the storm. Love ya, Joan |

Hey I agree with Joan. I know many are feeling and voiceing the same thing. But, let me say this... You started this thread with "I need you." Well, we need YOU. We need the person that you are, strong and vibrant. We need the experience and wisdom that you have inside of you as you have walked with the Lord. We need the Lord in you. We need His gifts that are in you for the body. We need you as a whole package. You are a minister of restoration and that is the area that will be hit the most.. "here..." they say, "lets see if you can 'restore' yourself.. sound familiar? And what do you say? You think you want to quit? You can't. Look inside of you.. our Lord has already snagged you. Years ago you might have been able to quit, but not now. You done been caught by the best. He takes us down to that point sometimes, sometimes just to show us that we really do have the grit inside of us to go on.. that is His handly work inside of us... His authorship... He creates "none quitters." All of us are non-quitters, and He has plans. There have been a couple of times that I was heading over to Joan's counter to talk about my frustrations... but honestly, I was not sure what to talk about. It has been in this last month that the Lord has begun again to reveal some things in my life to me, and some of them very hard (like the post trib thing) yet He is speaking to me in that topic. Other areas, I ride... I ride today and trust for tomorrow. One thing... we are overcomers. No one can take that away. For He is faithful with those things we have committed to Him, and the things we have committed to Him are the very things He has given us in the first place. Stay the course.. Head up Shoulders back... Keep walking. And know that we are here with you, praying for you, and contending for you too. For all of us. Shalom stacie |
