GRADUATION CEREMONY
> They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-three students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With rich maroon gowns flowing and the traditional caps, they looked almost as grown up as they felt.
>
>
> Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and moms freely brushed away tears.
>
>
> This class would not pray during the commencements ----- not by choice but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it. The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by the ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings on the graduates or their families.
>
>
> The speeches were nice, but they were routine.......until the final speech received a standing ovation.
>
>
> A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone; He stood still and silent for just a moment, and then, it happened. All 92 students, every single one of them, suddenly SNEEZED!!!!
>
>
> The student on stage simply looked at the audience and said, "GOD BLESS YOU, each and every one of you!" And he walked off stage...
>
>
> The audience exploded into applause. The graduating class had found a unique way to invoke God's blessing on their future with or without the court's approval!

Hi Kay,

Yes, indeed, this is a wonderful story as well as a sad reminder of how we have allowed the courts to steal away our God given rights in America, a land that was founded upon His principles. But we cannot blame the courts. Judgement will first fall upon His church. Have we been faithful to voice our concern to what is going on? Have we lifted these men and women who decide our fate in prayer? Or have we stood silently by or grumbling in our homes while our godly rights have been stolen before our eyes?

I pray that ALL of God's people recognize that they had some part in what happened. We need to come together as the body of Christ and let our voices be heard over the land, whether in speaking forth or through prayer and support of those who do. Perhaps when you read that I have included "ALL" of God's people in this and it might be seen as an unfair call. What I mean by this is that we are ALL, inclusive, one body of Christ and need to see the need to unify in Him. When one part hurts we all hurt. We need to recognize this and act accordingly. God desires that we be unified in Him as we see in Acts where the people joined together in one accord. How I pray we catch this vision and move on it to His glory!

Kay, thanks for sharing this and being given the privildege to freely share my take on it. America, the beautiful. America, the land of the free. Those words will lose their truth if we do not hold fast to America, one nation under God!!! We are so blessed by His goodness in this country, His favor and freedom. If we take Him away, denying His Son, Jesus Christ, so will we be denied in heaven as His nation and all blessings will go with Him. Heaven forbid. Help us Jesus!

Thanks Kay for this opening to voice the burning passion in my heart to see America rise up as a nation that blesses God Almighty and His freedom bearing Son, Jesus Christ!

Loving Him so,
Joan
