Pencil Portrait of a Lady; I drew this after only drawing 6 months

I draw by the anointing of the Holy Ghost. I have been gathering pencil sketches on the net by people who can draw better than me, and then trying to draw them, by looking a the drawings.

Caroline

I can do ALL (anything He has called me to do) through Christ (the Anointed One and His anointing)

This forum doesn't allow urls to work, I guess. So, you'll have to copy and paste the url into another browser to see my drawing. I have sent drawings from this site to email and it works. So, I dunno.

Caroline,

But for His grace! Amen. Keep looking to Him. He sees so much more and may He continue to bless you with the eyes to capture His heart and portray that in your art.

Great picture!

If you didn't notice, when you start a new topic if you scroll down you can attach a picture to the post.
If you don't mind I will go and do that for you.

Keep drawing

Blessings,

Hey

I almost wish I could draw too, but that would mean sitting still working one small thing.. not!

That is not His grace on me, but is sure is on the two of you. Perhaps there will be others the Lord will send too. There is much in His beauty that needs to be shared as seen through the eyes of Jesus.

God bless and anoint you both with His eyes and grace of talent. That the Name of Jesus be glorified.

I don't think I have that button to attach a image, Kay. I don't see it anywhere. That might just be for level 3 maybe? I dunno.

Thanks for adding my drawing for me!!

Hey

I almost wish I could draw too, but that would mean sitting still working one small thing.. not!

LOL Stacie!!

Up to a year ago Valentines Day 2004, I thought the same as you. I couldn't draw anything!! Certainly not a face!! I could barely draw a box, and shading... What's that???

On Valentines day a year ago, I woke up in Austin Texas to SNOW! It does not snow here, but like once every ten years! I said, God, how romantic! Snow on Valentines day! I ran outside and walked in the snow. It only lasted for three hours, but I was so happy. God can be so romantic.

That very afternoon, I had this urge to draw an eye. I have never ever had such a urge before!! So, I found my avon book from eons ago, and there were these drawings of faces and eyes that were very easy to look at. I thought, okay, I'll try it, but I can't draw. lol

Now this eye was nothing to show off! But, oh my goodness, I had never drawn anything before, and I was so excited! I drew a eye!! For me, one who can't draw, it was wonderful!!

God had dropped down into my spirit the "gift of learning how to draw quickly". I don't know what else to call it. He told me to look up drawing sites on the web, and then draw looking at other peoples work. The drawing I posted is my best work for the first year. It was my first fruits of my drawing, and God told me to give it to Pastor Sue Boss. Oh, I did not want to give away my best original drawing, I can tell you!! None of my others were near as good as that one! I didn't want to do it, like a child not wanting to obey. lol But, after two or three days, I changed my attitude, and said, okay God, You get my best, and I put it in a manilla envelope and took it to her, when I went to church.

I did nothing near that good for the next six months!! I even tried the same drawing, and I couldn't get it right. *moan moan* lol

Then the beginning of 2005, my drawing "suddenly" changed. (suddenly means it was God turning up the drawing anointiing in me.) I started drawing some good stuff, that is that good, and better. I havent' shown Kay yet. Heehee.

I love Kay's pencil drawing of her baby. I love that she can draw animals, and flowers. I want to do that too. Hair is my hardest thing. Sometimes it comes out good, and sometimes it doesn't.

Eyes are my favorite thing to draw, and then noses. LOL That sounds soo strange, I think. Before I started drawing, if someone had said to me, I like to draw noses! LOLOLOL I would have been like..... okay....... What a weird thing to enjoy drawing, I would have thought. I wouldnt' have said it though. lol

Carline, joyful in Jesus.

The Joy of the Lord is my strength. In Him, I can do ALL things! Yaaaaaaay!!!! I am IN Him! I am IN Christ, I am IN His Glory, where all His riches are!! :wave

Hi Caroline,

Thanks so much for sharing you picture with us and also the events that led up to your drawing. How cool, a "drawing" anointing! That is neat. To someone like me who can't even draw a straight line it is really a blessing to see this gift present in another's life. Actually, it was your picture of the lady, Caroline, that brought back some tucked away memories. It had been awhile since I remembered the drawings my Dad made many years ago. He had an artistic gift and he would draw pictures very similiar to your drawing of the woman. Thanks for the memories!

Please, share some more here. We'd sure like to see them as well as some more of Kay's! You have an audience here that is waiting to see more!

God bless,
Joan
