Hello everyone,

Thought I would share what I am working on at the moment.

This is a pic of a homeless man I found on the web and thought it was such a great pic!!!

This is just about 3-4 hours work on it.
I traced the outline on the computer printed it out and then copied it onto the paper. So the intital outlines are traced but the shading is all done free hand.

Sometimes it is fun just to color with a pencil!!!

Blessings,

Kay

*laughs* It was big enough to cover a bathroom wall. *laughs* You made my eyes tear up, laughing again. LOL :woopi

I like your drawing better than the reference pic. His eyes look too dark, and almost evil. I like your eye better the way you have it drawn, Kay. Good job on the mustache!! I haven't done one yet, but yours looks great! I was working on hair yesterday on the girl I'm working on. I think I'm getting a little better "fixing my hair". <_<

This is the girl I showed you before, Kay. I've been working on her hair. I erased her lips. They were too far to the right. *winks at Stacie* ;) Her head is tilted down, so she's supposed to be looking up. Not sure mine looks that way.

I can't post the reference pic, because it's someone else's drawing.

WOW Ladies! These pics are great!!! Caroline, do you think they woman without the mouth might find it easier to stay out of trouble than if she had one? LOL Ah, to temper our mouth and only use it as the Lord leads us to is one of the desires of my heart. :pray

Anyway, I am really blessed by these drawings. Not being able to draw like this myself (stick people are more my style  ), it is a joy to see the gifting in others. I just marvel at what you both can do. Oh, Lord, use these ladies to bring forth Your heart on paper or canvas. Guide their hands to see in the depth of what they are drawing knowing that You have touched all things and desire all things to be good, to be whole.

Hey, just a little FYI, I just read an article by Paul Keith Davis who had the priviledge to meet a young girl, Akiane, who has an artistic anointing and it is her desire to lead people to Jesus through her drawings. I believe she is ten years old and her gallery of art can be viewed at: www.artakiane.com

I just peeked at the site myself and her artwork is amazing. Praise be to God! Thoughy you ladies might enjoy it as well.

Please, keep blessing us with your gift. It lifts our hearts up as we see what the Lord is doing through you.

Love,
Joan

Wow, Kay!

As I looked at those man's eyes it was as if he spoke to me, "Do you see me? Do you see I have worth?" It was almost as if you could look deep into his soul.

Thank you so much for sharing. It is an incredible drawing.

Love,
Joan

Awesome Kay,

You have taken the hopeless heart and turned it into one that can hope and a face that reveals wisdom and kindness.

When I look at the original I see sucha brokeness and hopelessness, saddness and like Joan said worthlessness.

Praise God that He see's as Key reflected!

Good job!
