Good morning family. God is so good to us and He is waiting to bless us more then He has if only we will recognize Him as Who He has said that He is amen. This morning as i drove into work the Lord started to deal with me on this one verse that i read the other day and i have been putting it off. I know that there has been a lot of posts on the Easter Season and all. So lets look at this one verse that God has been dealing with me here lately ok. Lets us ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth from God's word to us . Let it be even as i ask dear Lord amen. The one verse that He has been dealing with me is found in LUKE 25:5 But we need to look at verses's 3 to 8 to really see what the Spirit is telling us here amen. Luk 24:3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. In this verse He tells us that the disciples entered into the tomb to look for Jesus. He was Not there. Luk 24:4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: This verse tells us that as they was pondering on the matter of Him not being there God sent two messengers to them. Notice that they had forgotten all that Jesus had told them about His death and resurrection Luk 24:5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down [their] faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? The disciple were afraid of the two messengers that God sent to them they knew that they was sent from God because they dow down in worship to them. Ok now here is the first of the two things that god has been dealing with me in this set of verses. "they said to them,Why seek ye the living among the dead? 1-"Why" what is the reason; "why are you here?"; Do you not yet understand? For what cause, reason, or purpose; on what account that you are standing here looking for Him who has risen from the dead? This question has been ask down through the ages. 2-"seek" To try to acquire or gain; to strive after knowledge that is all ready available. 2- "ye the living" ( to live, breathe, be among the living (not lifeless, not dead) to have true life and worthy of the name, active, blessed, endless in the kingdom of God,) The living gives us this picture also.( living water, having vital power in itself and exerting the same upon the soul) Folks Jesus is all of the above and more to us. 4- "among the dead" "among" means this (with,To denote association in thought, action words of mouth and Any type of association that will cause one to be recognized with a group of people.) "the dead" This word speak of the (spiritually dead ) This is someone that is destitute of a life that recognizes and is devoted to God, because they are dead in their sin and trespasses. Jesus prayed to the Father that we would be in this world but not a part of this world. Jhn 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Jhn 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. Jhn 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Jhn 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Folks God does not want that we forget this truth about our selfs. We are not among the Spiritual dead but we have life and life everlasting in Christ Jesus. God has given us His word to point us to His Son and to testify and prove unto us that He is not dead but He is among the living. It saddens the Father's Heart when we go after all the things of this world seeking that life that is in Christ Jesus. It is in Him that we move and have our being (Our Spiritual Life) So His questing to us this day is? WHY DO WE STILL SEEK HIM AMONG THE DEAD WHEN HE IS AMONG THE LIVING? Folks i have ran out of time to finsh this up but will do so tomorrow if i may amen We will look at the rest of the verses that is found here. Luk 24:6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Luk 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. Luk 24:8 And they remembered his words, Luk 24:6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Luk 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. Luk 24:8 And they remembered his words, Jesus loves you,Yes He loves you, He really loves us amen. It is written in the volume of the book of His love for us. YBIC JOhn |

Good morning family. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in this day that He has given unto us. He is the Lord, He is the King It is He who has redeemed us unto Him self. Glory Hallelujah praise His Holy name and sing a new song unto Him for it is in Him that we move and have our being.amen This morning as i drove into work there was not a cloud in the sky. it was totally awesome to see with the sun not yet all the way up. there was a light blue tint to the eastern morning sky. I had a great time in my praise and worship time this morning with Him and to Him. Ok now lets ask the Holy Spirit to give His Revelation to the rest of this study as we look once again into His Word to us. Let it be even as i ask dear Lord amen. Ok now we left off yesterday in Luke 24:5 and today we will finish up this study looking at verses 6 through 8. The question from the two messengers was ." Why seek ye the living among the dead? Luk 24:6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, "He is not here" This is an informative statement. He is not here meaning that He is no longer in this place that you seek Him. "but is risen" ( nevertheless) this is the answer to your seeking. "is Risen" ( to arouse from the sleep of death) This word "is" in the "present tense" this is the affirmative statement that this thing has all ready happened> It is a thing of the past and it is the thing of the future. "Remember" now this is very important to us this word remember. because it is a habitual habit of the human race to forget things. ( to remind and to recall that important information; that we once received ) "how he spake" to use words in order to declare one's mind and disclose one's thoughts . The word "How" tells us that the words that He has spoken to us was full of love and compassion. This word brings us into remembrance of all the words that Jesus has given to us. "unto you" And He is still speaking His words of Life unto us even to this day. Luk 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. "Saying" (to say, to speak, and to point out with words the things that must happen to Him.) Now this is the proof and testimony of the two messengers that yes indeed all that Jesus has taught us through His words has came to pass. Luk 24:8 And they remembered his words, Ok now here is this word remembered again. ( to be recalled or to return to one's mind, to remind one's self ) the thing is this to us we must Hide His word in our hearts os that the Holy Spirit can bring it back to us. This word Hide is the picture of some one that has found a great treasure and Hides it in a safe place (IN HIS HEART) so that it will be always available to Him in times of need amen. If we do not place His words in our hearts then we are without excuse when we get ourselves into trouble as we go outside of the Word of God. YOu see when we hide His words in our hearts then when we lose sight of Him then all we need to do is look for Him in the words that is hidden there in our hearts. Folks Jesus is not lost in the land of the dead but has risen and is now alive and well in the land of the Spiritual living. So why do we go to look for Him in the darkness of spiritual death when He is with us at all times. Jesus loves you, Yes he loves you, He really loves us amen. It is written in the volume of the book of HIs love for us. YBIC JOhn |
