here's a poem I wrote two days ago. Hope it blesses you! In His Love,Gena The Journey Long ago I started On my way to grow in You! Little did I know The trials I'd go through! Each step was so different, Sometimes the pain relentless. Sometimes I'd lag behind, Sometimes I'd run ahead. But, through each phase, I noticed, More flesh would be dead! This journey has it's up's and downs, This is surely true! But, Lord, I love the way, It brought me close to You! You've been my rain in the dry times, My Shelter from the sun. My Anchor in the storm, A Friend to whom I'd run! Sacrifices of praise I bring to You, My Savior, Lord, and King! There is no other like You, You are my Everything! This journey is not easy, But ,neither Lord was Your's. So, I'll glory in the Cross,Lord, Till I land on Heaven's Shores! I long to stand before You, And hear "My child, well done".
