A joke told by a local Baptist preacher in my town: There was a small town in a wooded area that was over run by squirrels. Every church in the town had squirrels in them and they were doing a bit of damage to the buildings. The local pastors got together and were discussing their plans on how to eradicate the squirrels. The Methodist minister said that they were going to put out a live-trap with some bait to catch those squirrels, then release them miles from town. The Assembly of God minister was going to set loose some hounds in his church to chase the squirrels out. The two ministers turned to the Baptist preacher and asked him what he was going to do about the situation and he answered, "Well, I was going to baptize them and then they'd only show up on Christmas and Easter."  Now ain't that the truth. |

Hi there, That's funny, sad and all too true. Wow, three for the price of one. Hey, let us declare that trend is going to change, in Jesus' name. We declare from this day forward that sons and daughters of the most high God will be stirred up to visit their Daddy daily, in Jesus' name! It's time to take those empty pews out of the church and put the church into the highways and by ways for His glory, amen! Arise, oh ye church of God and instead of being seasonal Christians let us walk daily for Christ Jesus, no longer being pew warmers but warmers of the hearts of men drawing them to our heavenly Father through the Good News we have in Christ Jesus.
