Jesus being my Friend. Today, I got to talk to a friend that I had wanted to talk to for a few days and that this was the right day. So, I am grateful to Jesus for my friends. It is good to have friends and not be alone. that I got the yard cut before the rains came. My wheel had broken and got fixed the day before. I have fertilizer on the grass and it would have been a jungle in this sweet rain.  stace |

August 31, 2006 I am grateful for having received an email telling of Jesus' love towards my husband, myself and all of us! I am astounded by The Love The Father The Son and The Holy Spirit showed at Calvary At the Faithfulness of God At the love of the woman He put into my life At the world-wide and time-to-eternity family He gave to me by His Blood And Binds Together by His Spirit At the Internet that connects us together for comfort and fellowship At the saints and sinners I know better than my own self through His Holy Word At the baby girl in-trusted to me this morning by her mother whom I cared for when she was a baby! September 1, 2006 I am grateful for the remembrance this morning's devotional brought back to me and for His angels. I am grateful for the Holy Spirit bringing things to our remembrance so that we can see how much the Lord has been apart of our lives in the past thus being assured that He is with us now and will continue to be. for this thread that lifts my spirit up for the birds that are returning into our area after being gone for a while for the link that I was sent yesterday by Joan that has helped the Lord show me some things that are saving my sanity  for the Holy Spirit who wraps Himself around us when we need a hug for Jj (my quaker bird) learning to copy a laugh. That is like totally cool. I laugh, and he laughs, and then I laugh at his laugh. |

September 2, 2006 I am grateful for: The tablecloth I found yesterday to put on the table where I teach the children. It has butterflies on it and as I spread it out I recognized I can teach the children tomorrow from this very tablecloth with its beautiful butterflies of many colors, sizes, etc., that growing into our Christian maturity is much like the butterfly breaking forth from it's cocoon. Praise You Lord. I see so much You would have me share with them, encourage them with. Hallelujah!!! For today being my daughter and her husband's anniversary. I can remember the day they were married, much like today, rain falling down. The rain wasn't depressing. It was God's way of letting us know that my Mom was with us in spirit for she had recently gone on to be with the Lord and her presence was missed. Oh, how Mom loved the rain, especially on Thanksgiving. Thank You, Lord. For Stacie's post, especially about Jj. It had me laughing at her laughing at Jj laughing! How sweet is laughter. |

for a brother-in-law who has a good sense of humor and sends them via email to me, and I share them with you. for the wind blowing lightly and knocking down any lose limbs in these oak trees here in the park. A "God" way of keeping them pruned.

September 8, 2006 I am grateful for the confidence we have in Him knowing that when all else might fail, He never does. Hallelujah!!! I am grateful for our daughter moving back in with us and for the time that the enemy was trying to bring harm and hurt into her life, God will turn it to good for she does love the Lord, even if she has a hard time telling her parents.  I am grateful for this day for it is the day the Lord has made and it is a priviledge to rejoice in it. Thank You, Lord!!! |
