Hello everyone!!
I am a nurse in the emerency room. One day I was working with a young women who came with suicidal ideations, feeling worthless and with no hope. She confessed that she had a young daughter and she hasn't been able to take care of her because of the addiction to drugs and alcohol. I usually do not have much time to just talk to the patients , but that day the Lord allowed me to spent some time with her. I approached her with a word of God and brought examples of Gloria Copland, and Kenyon who's books I love. I spoke to her for an hour about God's love and that is never too late to change a life for Him. I quoted Bible verses and she just sat there and absorbed every word I said actually what God said through me. She thanked me for takeing the time to talk to her. Two months later I saw a young women in the window of er triage area. I knew she looked familiar but I coudn't place her. I see so many people every day. When I started to talk to her, it clicked, I knew who she was. I asked how she was doing. She answered with a smile:"I am fine and I am free of drugs and alcohol I am free from addiction. I have wonderful daughter, I read my Bible every day" I was moved, usually as a nurse in the er we do not get follow ups on the patients. But it was so wonderful to see her happy and free, Thank the Lord Jesus. What a wonderful save.

Totally awesome. Praise the Lord. It's neat to see how the Lord made sure you had time to talk to her. He knew it would bear fruit. Oh what a blessing that that you were able to see the fruits of His work, and share it with us too.

It's also nice to know He is in control over our time at the job too.

Praise be to God!

Aneta, thank you so much for sharing this and showing the fruit of walking in His love, sharing His truth. There are so many people who need a touch from Him and He has blessed us to be His hands, His feet, His mouthpieces. Glory to God!

I am reminded of the words placed on the base of the Statue of Liberty, representative of God's beacon of Light given to us through His Precious Son, Christ Jesus:

Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these — the homeless, tempest-tossed — to me;
I lift my lamp beside the Golden Door.

Father, I believe those words written back then were inspired by You. America was to be a country "under God", blessed by God. Oh, how I pray she returns back to her first Love! Lord, this day, Your people are praying for the tired, the poor, the huddled masses, the wretched to come to You and know of Your goodness, the liberty You have for them through Your Son and we submit to be Your hands, Your feet, Your mouth, whatever You would have us be for Your glory and honor , in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Sis, this is a very inspiration testimony. Hallelujah!

Praising Him,
Joan
