OK, I figured just the title would get your attention! We live in the county and had a nice flock of 14 chickens. HAD is the important word here. Slowly, every other day, a fox raid would happen and a fox would carry off his chicken dinner. The raids would come at no set time during the day. My husband would search the woods when he got home from work and no foxes could be found, just a pile of feathers from the latest victim. One morning, I went out on the back porch just before daylight and turned on the porch light and a fox ran out from under the porch. I guess he was waiting for his breakfast to get up. Our dogs looked at me and then thought, "Well, I guess we'd better chase it a little ways so Mommy will be happy with us." So much for good guard dogs! Then there was the daily visit from a red tailed hawk who had chicken on his mind, too. I'd hear the alarm given and go outside and yell at the hawk til it flew off. Anyway, we were down to 5 chickens. We had been praying, "Lord, protect our animals," one of those generic prayers that's suppose to cover everything. The Holy Spirit prompted my husband that we should stand in agreement and bind each and every kind of predator we have here. So my husband and I prayed and bound all the foxes, coyotes, bobcats, mtn. lions, bears, and hawks off our place. Now every day, we thank the Lord for that protection on our chickens and peacocks, naming each predator. It's been 2 weeks since we have started doing this. And guess what, for 2 weeks there has been no raids, either from land or air! Oh, and one of the hens we thought was killed, came up with 8 baby chicks. So guess how many chickens we have now: 14! It just goes to show you that no problem is too small or too trivial to take before God. Be specific when you pray for a problem and use God's scripture! Remember there is power in using God's words! I love it! I love Him!!! Hi Chris, Thanks so much for sharing this. Just read it to my daughter who was close by and I wanted it to share it, it is sooo good! Hallelujah! He he, there are many little foxes who didn't want this word given but praise God for He who is in us and greater than those foxes or any little critters around. Amen? Amen!!! Praising Him, Joan |

Quote from Chris: no raids, either from land or air! I had this problem, well, a similar problem. I had coyotes raiding my cats and the neighbor cats. I had 4 cats and then only had one female left. I started demanding my cats be protected by the blood of Jesus, because I have a covenant of protection and healing from God, and this shouldn't be happening to my cats. Because they are my cats, they are under my covenant of protection and healing. Because the blood of Jesus covers and protects me, then it should protect my cats. My female had a kitten, and then three more kittens, and her first kitten had 2, so I have 7 cats, so don't want anymore. LOL I got two of my females fixed, and God is supernaturally keeping snow white from coming into heat and she is over a year old. And He has been keeping my three boys pure and free from having sex, because once they have sex that first time, they become yucky toms and spray and fight with other cats. I don't have the money to get the four of them fixed yet, so God is supernaturally keeping them from reaching sexual teen years until I can get them fixed. God is so good to me!!! Thank You Jesus for protecting the animals and birds we own! There haven't been any coyote raids or attacks for 2 years. God is a good; He is good ALL the time! Caroline |

Isn't God good? We're still praising and thanking Him for binding the varmits. Ozark dictionary definition 1: Varmits: (emphasis on the VAR) any creature that might cause damage to home, land, and livestock. Usually referring to animals, but can be applied to humans in certain circumstances. |
