Luk 2:36  And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;
Luk 2:37  And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
Luk 2:38  And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

She married young, lived seven years with her husband, he died, and she lived in the temple. She fasted and prayed night and day. She was now 84 years old. What'd she get for all of this?

"And coming in that instant..." She recognized the Christ while He was still in diapers. How's that? Instantly. She was fine tuned, ready to discern, to be led, and to proclaim one of the best messages this world has ever heard.

Why wasn't she back in the other room doing something else? Is is that she was 'leadable' by the Holy Spirit. That He could chart her path to be in the right time at the right place?

Consider her life, consider her call, and consider her reward. Is it worth the cost?
You bet.
Hang in there.
